SPECIAL FEATURES
- Written Words: The spell placed on the mask allows it to form words right out of the mind of the wearer, allowing a form of simple, silent communication.
- Make whole what was Shattered: The main spell placed on the mask was designed to not only shield a mind from outside infuence, but also to keep a shattered mind together. Created for the Fateless, a undead woman with a incomplete, heavily altered mind, the mask main task is to keep the various leftover memories under control, allowing the Fateless to remember her training without the confusing effects of seeing small glimpses of an unkown past. The mask also puts new information into context, allowing a shattered mind to work almost normally.
- Mind Shield: The mask was designed to shield the wearers mind from outside influence. While this clearly does not mean that entering the mind of wearer is impossible or requires exceptional skills, it does mean that seeing and altering it takes more skill then without, considering that the mask itself keeps parts of the mind itself hidden from even wearer.
- Written Words: The mask can from words and short phrases on the surface as a silent form of communication.
- No Physical Shield: The mask offers no physical protection whatsoever.
- Light Side: Like all items created through the dark side, the mask is easy damaged or broken by the powers of the light.
- Force-nullifying: When caught in a field where the force is weakend or nullified, the the effect of the mask will simply stop working for the time being, in this particular case releasing the unfiltered informations in the mind of The Fateless which can lead to serve mental damanges, delusions, confusion and disorientation.
The Fateless, once a young necromancer, and now a tool created by Darth Abyss is cursed by many things. Rot, decay, unlife, but most of all by a mind shattered and broken so far that there is little to nothing left. Yet the Mindeater did not create her as an wild, savage monster, but another subtle, effecient operative able to act on the battlefield and the shadows on her own.
That was why the mask of shattered wisdom came into existence. Not a piece of armor, and neither a powerful arcane weapon, the mask serves only as a tool to keep the mind of the Fateless from falling apart completly, allowing the cursed woman to think, fight and act almost like a living human being.
