"I've met him before, he's got a good head on his shoulders. I know he has siblings as well, I haven't heard anything amiss about any of them. It would be an honor to have him as my first Padawan." The Jedi Knight showed a smile and bowed his head towards the two Council Members. "Thank you for your trust, I won't let you down."

Today was a definitely a new beginning as he wasn't expecting this when he was called into the Council chambers. He was assigned his first Padawan and he was quite excited about that. He received tips and such from various sources, but the biggest one was to take him aside and get to know the young man. The last thing he wanted to do was screw this up, he wasn't going to let anyone down.

He knew he couldn't let Kas Larsen down.

Word had been sent after his meeting with the Jedi Council and it was best that they meet on a more familiar grounds. Aiden's own nature showing out as he brought some freshly baked cookies and a nice cool bottle of blue milk for him. While he wasn't a young kid, it was to start things off on a good note. There didn't need to be teaching and lessons on the first day, he needed to get to know him first on that first day.

Building a good rapport with his fellow Jedi was the most important thing.

The only way to get through this was together.

It had been some time since Kas last heard from and seen Jedi Master Katarine Ryiah they worked together on Coruscant and came to Naboo to join the Jedi Order situated here. Walked down the hallway after receiving an invite from Jedi Knight Aiden Porte over the comms. Unfortunately, it may be the case with little activity from Katarine and Kas being on the rise. Unknown to Kas matters were being worked upon.

Little did Kas know Aiden had taken interest in the young Jedi since their first encounter. The pair got along and perhaps have more in common around some areas they hadn't realised just yet. The Jedi Council Brandyn Sal-Soren , Briana Sal-Soren and Lorn Reingard had probably discussed Kas with Aiden. Brandyn did meet Kas and the two shared a few similar interests in their last discussion together.

No doubt the Grandmaster Briana Sal-Soren was keeping tabs on Kas' progress since he participated in the Field Trial over on Eadu. He did his preparations for the task she had set up with majority who came. Lastly, there was Lorn Reingard as far as the two - Kas and Lorn they haven't properly met but heard of each other.

Eventually Kas came to the door raised a hand to knock on it and waited.

"Master Porte? You invited me to come see you about something. It's Kas Larsen." Kas said outside the dorm.

"It should be open my friend!" Aiden spoke as he stood up to make his way towards the door to make sure that it wasn't locked, or it shouldn't have been. "It's good to see you again Kas." The Jedi Knight said with a smile as he extended his hand towards him. "Come on in!" The young man beckoned him to have a seat as he poured him a glass of blue milk and scooted the plate of cookies over his way.

Aiden poured himself a glass as he then sat down and took a cookie from the tray as well.

"I'm glad you are able to stop by, I trust the siblings are all doing well. Should some be left, you should take the extra cookies to them. See how they like them." Aiden said with a smile and laugh, then taking a small drink from his glass.

"I have spoken with the members of the Council and with Master Ryiah, I requested you to be transferred over and if you are okay with it. I would like to be your mentor and teacher." Aiden took a small bite from the cookie as he waited for the words to set in. "I am newly minted knight myself but I promise you I will take this charge very seriously."

A hand and arm was stretched out to press against the panel of a door. It creaked open as Kas walked on inside there he saw Aiden Porte standing at the ready to greet and welcome the teenager inside. "Thanks master. Nice to see you again as well." Kas replied while he walked further along within the dormitory.

A glance towards the glass of blue milk and the plate of cookies. Kas didn't mind the presence of refreshments so he sat down on a chair opposite from Aiden. Took hold of the glass and had one cookie in his other hand. Took a bite of the cookie and sipped some of the blue milk from his glass.

"Caden and Seri are doing alright. Studying and training in another class I believe. Sure, I'll take extras to them. Thanks, they'll appreciate the gesture master." Kas said with a smile to Aiden as they sat and spoke.

He listened to the words coming from the young Jedi Knight - when it had been mentioned that Jedi Master Katarine Ryiah spoke with Aiden in transferring Kas to a new master. It did leave him concerned about Katarine not disappointed or sad. Always considerate and thoughtful of others' before himself.

"Huh. Is Master Ryiah alright?" Kas asked Aiden. The nature that was bestowed to him with the upbringing from his mother, Elah, a good nature too. "Sorry, I am grateful master. I just lookout for others more."

There was no shred of concern or doubt when Kas took in that Aiden had requested of him to become his Padawan Learner. Despite being a newly appointed and young Jedi Knight this was an honour to Kas. He had been quite independent since joining the Jedi Orders on Naboo and Tython. Didn't hold back either.

"No issues from me master. I'm ready when you are. I'll not stop." Kas said to Aiden. He wasn't phased, no lingering questions or thoughts. All part of the life of any Jedi sometimes one can have a few masters. In Kas' case though this was his second master. All while having had quite a few mentors in certain expertise and skills he believed that his body and mind was best suited towards.

"I'll do everything possible to honour you, the Council and many Jedi alike master." Kas said to Aiden.

The Grandmaster and other members of the Jedi Council - Briana Sal-Soren , Brandyn Sal-Soren , Elias Edo , Kyric , Lorn Reingard and Vizion Trozky place a lot of trust in Aiden. They must be aware of the efforts coming from Kas alongside Caden and Seri undergoing the activities as Jedi together.

"Caden and Seri are doing alright. Studying and training in another class I believe. Sure, I'll take extras to them. Thanks, they'll appreciate the gesture master."

"That's good to hear my friend. If they ever need any help or instruction be sure to let us know." Aiden was always of the mind of helping people. Putting their own futures and destines above his own. If he could help them achieve what they wanted in life that would be enough for him. The happiness of those around him is what mattered most to him.

He put himself second and third every time. It's just who he was....

"Huh. Is Master Ryiah alright?"

"Sorry, I am grateful master. I just lookout for others more."

"She's doing okay, unfortunately circumstances outside her control have led to such a transfer. She actually recommended it, when the time comes I'm sure she will speak to you about it. It's good that you do, lookout for others more. That's a good trait and quality, no matter what anyone says. I am like you on that regard. I've been like that since I was a young boy."

"No issues from me master. I'm ready when you are. I'll not stop."

"I'll do everything possible to honour you, the Council and many Jedi alike master."

"I'm sure you will do perfectly well Kas." Aiden said with a reassuring smile. "Just focus your mind, heart and body and everything will work out as it should."

Aiden took a small bit from the cookie and followed with a small drink from the glass.

"First things, I called upon you as right now to get to know you a little better. Tell me about yourself my friend, thoughts, goals, fears. Also what have you been instructed in the ways of the force and lightsaber combat. I do not wish to overburden you with something you are already aware of."

Kas smiled where Aiden mentioned that his twin sister Seri and younger brother Caden can learn and train from the young Jedi Knight in the future ahead. It was good to know and pass on when he next saw the two.

"Appreciate that master. They're without a master officially but always learning and training with each other and others whenever they can. I'll let them know and maybe introduce you to them formally master." He said.

When Aiden had mentioned that either something or a few activities outside of Jedi Master Katarine Ryiah 's control had unfolded. Kas frowned briefly for a few moments. He hoped she was alright if there was anything he could do or say to help. He would do it no matter the cost upon himself.

"I hope she is alright master. We did well during an assignment on Coruscant which was an investigation into the Drugs and Spice smuggling ring going on there." Kas said in looking back to the time spent with her. "Ahaha. Guess I have my folks and their upbringing of me to thank for that trait master." He chuckled.

Kas took a few more bites from a cookie he took from the plate that Aiden had made available and a few sips from the glass containing the blue milk available. Listening to Aiden with his next set of words spoken to him.

"Thanks master. I'll adapt in the right ways not for ill-intentions." Kas said to Aiden giving a nod to him.

Hearing that his now, new master wanted to get to know him and where his progress has taken him with the Jedi life that Kas taken on board. There was perhaps already a lot done and continuing with other mentors.

"Well back on Corellia I went to the CorSec Academy ended up learning how to be a Security Officer for CorSec. Picked up skills like defence, patrol and security." Kas mentioned his time in CorSec before the Jedi.

Now he was reflecting back to the times Kas he explored the Galaxy more once he was inducted into the Jedi Order back on Tython. He then remembered his time in the Medical Bay where he learned and practiced the first initial steps of using Force Concealment with fellow Padawan Learner Valoria Elryne while recovering.

"After being injured on Tython. I was recovering in the Medical Bay there and began learning, practice of an ability called Force Concealment. Been practicing to get better at it ever since and Valoria was good teaching what she knew to me." Kas highlighted time spent with one of his close friends he met back on Tython.

During further training with many (NPC) Knights and Masters on Tython there was quite a few abilities in the Force that Kas learned, studied and practiced. Still does practice them to this day. First these are the abilities and techniques in the Alter category - Force Barrier, Force Blinding, Force Burst, Mind Trick and various branches of Telekinesis like Push, Pull, Grip, etc. Listed those off for Aiden to be aware of.

"In the regard of Force abilities. It might be due to my folks being Jedi Masters before that I inherited some of their talents. The energy feels as if it comes second nature to me master. I'm always open and willing to learn." Kas said to Aiden before going in to more abilities through the Force he has learned and practiced.

The young Jedi began to mention Force abilities in the Control area. They were known as Altus sopor, Art of Movement, Curato salva, Enhanced Attribute and Resist stun. Again he learned and trained in these abilities from the Knights and Masters who were available to teach and help train Kas. He didn't come to the Jedi as a child they had a Jedi Watchman find him and his twin sister Ceri at eighteen years old and Caden at sixteen his younger brother.

"In regards to some Lightsaber combat forms - I ended up taking inspiration from the Skywalker Praxeum. Coming up with hybrid variants of a few of the old traditional forms after learning their basics. I practiced the Fast Style, Medium Style and Strong Style taking inspirations from those Combat Styles. I went further and expanded on them master." Kas stated what he has learned so far in the art of Lightsaber combat.

If the Jedi Knight had heard and read up from external, other sources based around Kas' combat abilities. He'd be aware of the young Jedi having an unorthodox neutral fighting style all round. The main forms he has been learning and practicing are; Soresu and Shien creating a hybrid variant of combining both. Secondary more offensive forms are Ataru and Djem So allowed blade-to-blade based combat to evolve.

Aiden would notice Kas has built and designed two Lightsaber hilts in which revealing that the young Jedi has took the opportunities to learn Niman and it's sub-form of Jar'Kai. However, rare for Kas to rely on Jar'Kai he'd only use his second Lightsaber as a surprise and quick burst against his opponents.

"I spent time on Jakku and met Jedi Knight Vizion Trozky there to further my experience and knowledge as a Jedi Sentinel. A Jedi Investigator and I ended up coming to Naboo, here because of his mentions that there are Jedi here master. He was a good mentor, hope to see him soon again." Kas said to Aiden.

In giving that little bit of background additionally in how Kas and his siblings ended up moving from Tython to Naboo. He went on to mention Force abilities he learned and continues to practice under the Sense tree. The abilities he has studied and been receiving training were Force empathy, Force-meld, Force sense, Force Track and Precognition. Taking a few more bites from his cookie finishing it and sipped some more blue milk.

"I went to the planet Commenor and underwent some training with a Jedi Master called Jairdain Ismet-Thio who was apart of the Silver Jedi. I was also in the field on Kamino learning from Jedi Master Judah Lesan while on assignment there." Kas mentioning a few other mentors he learned from on other planets.

Finished off the remains of his blue milk from the glass he had been drinking while sat with Aiden. Kas had then stated the Martial Arts styles he has taken interest in. Bakuuni Hand, Broken Gate are the two more well-known publicly all while Kas is seeking to learn Echani and Teräs Käsi in his future as a Jedi.

"There are certain Jedi specialisations I've started exploring and earning experience in. I have become quite the pilot and taking interest in aerial combat, dogfighting resembles a Jedi Ace. Masters Ryiah and Trozky being Jedi Investigators led to my inspiration in also learning and training to become one too. Along with becoming a Jedi Artisan since I possess interests in technology and building." Kas paused on the last role he seeks.

This last role he came across in his studies while in the Jedi Archives throughout his spare time. It was of the Jedi Shadows - those who go after various forms of where the Dark side resides within. Ranging from artifacts, devices and individuals to what he learned in the records stored inside of the library facilities.

"When I meet and officially joined this Jedi Order alongside Master Ryiah. I met with Jedi Knight Brandyn Sal-Soren and Jedi Knight Lossa Aureus where Master Sal-Soren revealed he is the leader of the Shadows. I have read up on that role but waiting to learn and train under someone who's available to pass those skills and teachings onto me." Kas finished off with that last statement while speaking to Aiden in the dormitory.

Aiden nodded his head with a smile. "That would be a good thing to do. When I was training and as a padawan. I like you wanted to learn and train under different masters. As each had their own respectable field they worked in. Even after all that I still don't have it mastered."

Aiden listened attentively, and with a smile on his face. He was truly interested in his story and where he came from. That was one of the key things he felt in regards to having a Padawan. The better you both knew each other, it would show out in the field. And both would become more talented Jedi, especially Kas.

There was a few names he mentioned that he didn't have the pleasure meeting. "I have never met Master's Jardian or Judah, however Vizion, Brandyn and Lossa. I know those names very well. They are extremely wise and talented Jedi. I trust you listened well when you were with them." Aiden said with a simple smile and nod of his head.

"I can honestly tell you flying is not my forte, I can do it well enough. But I don't wish to be in the skies, I personally belong on the ground." Aiden said with a small chuckle.

"I can help you as much as I can. But if there is something that is outside of my field. I can recommend another Jedi to train you in the particular aspect of combat or force technique. Maybe we can both learn it together?"

Kas placed his glass of blue milk down onto a table, it was empty and wouldn't take any more cookies either. Once the conversation and meeting had came to a conclusion where Kas was no longer required from Aiden. He'd take some cookies off to Kharis, his twin sister and Caden his younger brother while informing them they'd have another mentor to learn from and train under. The trio were dedicated and determined but different.

"I'll not stop master. Will keep it going even when I become a Knight or Master. Rather not limit myself and have a broad spectrum of abilities, experience and knowledge in some fields of expertise." Kas said to Aiden.

Kas sat in the chair thinking back to his initial meetings with Jedi Knights Lossa Aureus Brandyn Sal-Soren and Vizion Trozky since he became a Jedi. He did undergo training with Vizion but nothing yet with Lossa or Brandyn although he wants to someday in the future.

"I've taken on Master Trozky's wisdom as best as I can from what teaching and training we were able to do. However, I have only socially interacted with Masters Aureus and Sal-Soren. No training undertaken." Kas explained to Aiden about the three Jedi Knights they both knew of.

A grin appeared briefly on Kas' face as Aiden mentioned about flying. Couldn't be helped ever since Kas was capable of controlling any vehicles he'd drive and fly them to his heart's content while he was younger. Now of course, he has more control and restraint. He found the skill being one of his priorities to be a Jedi Knight.

"So, I'll be doing majority of the flying between us both then master?" Kas said to Aiden. Another brief smile formed at the corner of his mouth. "The ground, the skies, the sands, the oceans. I'll adapt to environments." It was true the environments will be different and Kas was one to always adapt to them.

Kas acknowledged and appreciated that Aiden will teach and train him in everything he can where and when possible. Even going to the lengths of expanding his own abilities, experience and knowledge where other Jedi can teach and train them both in more specific abilities and skills in combat or the Force itself.

"Of course, master. It's appreciated and I'll value everything you teach to me and train me to use out in the field. Happy to learn and train together in other abilities and skills alongside you too." Kas said with a smile.

"That is good, just be sure not to over work yourself. Make sure you are spending time with your family as well. I sense you have a strong connection with them. The stronger and better that connection is the more you work well with them. It's an incredible thing."

Just like his own connection with his sister, granted they were twins so they already had that edge. Their instincts on the battlefield were strong and far better than the average two Jedi on the field. They grew together and honed on each others abelites and reacted with perfect unison and instinct.

"So, I'll be doing majority of the flying between us both then master?"

"No, not exactly....." Aiden said with a laugh and smile. As Kas's world and that of his siblings were going to get bigger. He had yet been introduced to his crew, and well the group that had followed his father for many years and now follows him.

Shiraya's Hope.

"Of course, master. It's appreciated and I'll value everything you teach to me and train me to use out in the field. Happy to learn and train together in other abilities and skills alongside you too."

"I will tell you now, I don't expect you to be perfect. I'm not looking for the perfect Jedi, none exists. You will make mistakes, and there will be struggles along the way and remember that failure will happen. The ability to adapt, see, and trust to hope that is paramount above any feat that is obtainable."

Aiden gave him a quick nod and smile as glanced towards the door for a moment as several other Jedi made their way into the dormitory Living quarters. "Why don't you and your siblings meet me in the hangar, there are some other folks I want you to meet."

Objective: Meet Aiden in the Hangar Bay

Kas nodded his head over to Aiden as the Jedi Knight spoke about not over-doing it while the young Jedi continues to undergo his Jedi training. A smile appeared on his face as his family was a big part of him. In having support from Caden and Kharis consistently this helped the trio to advance in their Jedi training together. They wouldn't leave either one behind, moved together as a family would, united they stood.

"Sure master, I won't over do it. Yeah ahaha, we practically live in the J-1 Shuttle. My folks are back home on Corellia although there last holo-message to us was strange. Hinted they might return to the Jedi Order." Kas shrugged as he wasn't sure what to make of it but nevertheless this will be something if true.

The familial bond among Caden, Kas and Kharis it was strong and continues to develop between them as if when they grow stronger the bond between them all had also advanced. It is a double-edged sword if the Larsens weren't cautious and mindful with their feelings and thoughts whenever they're out on the field.

"Oh? Well I don't being the designated pilot whenever it's required of me master." Kas responded to Aiden.

The late teenaged Padawan Learner listened to the words the young Jedi Knight was saying to him. All about that the best is the only thing expected to come from all Jedi. It was settled that there will be hardships, failures to endure but with those in mind Kas must rise, endure and adapt to improve as a Jedi.

"Understood master. I'll do my best like everyone has done while being a Jedi." Kas said to Aiden.

The Padawan Learner wondered what his master was referring to as they were discussing another subject. It seemed that Aiden wanted to meet Caden and Kharis where the Jedi Knight sought after the trio of Larsens to meet him and others in the Sanctuary's Hangar Bay. It left Kas in wonder and curious.

"Alright master sure. I'll go find Caden and Kharis, we'll meet you in the Hangar Bay." Kas stated as he got up.

He gave a curt nod over to Aiden before departing from the dormitory of the Jedi Knight. Headed off to find his twin sister, Kharis and younger brother Caden. No doubt they'll be back from any studying or training. Kas met them back at their J-1 Shuttle.

Caden was the first to greet his older brother with a smile and thumbs up gesture. "Hey Kas. Where were you? Met another master or something?" The younger sibling a little curious to where Kas had gone to.

Kharis ruffled Caden's hair with a hand like any older sister would do. She glanced over to her twin brother and embraced him. "Well Kas? Aren't you gonna tell us what happened."

Kas sat down on a ledge while Caden sat beside him and Kharis stood waiting. A smile appeared on Kas' face as he cleared his throat and began speaking to his siblings. "Well, been reassigned to a new master."

"Master Ryiah has to handle some other priorities. I just came back from meeting with Jedi Knight Aiden Porte. Quite a nice man and he wants to meet us in the Hangar Bay, meet others." Kas said to the two.

Caden rubbed a hand along his jaw in thought and did wonder if Jedi Master Katarine Ryiah was alright. Nonetheless the High Council would have said so or handled matters accordingly. "Well, I wouldn't mind meeting Master Porte, Kas. Think he'll teach and train us a few things?"

Kharis laughed and shook her head when Caden asked his question to Kas. "Cade, c'mon now. We shouldn't overwhelm any of the Jedi Knights or Jedi Masters. Remember we're trying to be independent, Kas still is."

Kas looked between Caden and Kharis, remembered that Aiden did offer to help his brother and sister along too. Hopefully, Caden and Kharis would respect and value any efforts and time spent by Aiden towards them. "He has offered and is willing to do some training with all us of, Kharis. I'd welcome it."

A smile appeared on Caden's face as he stepped up to get ready to head off to the Hangar Bay. He made up his mind and wanted to go meet Aiden Porte. "Great! I'm happy to meet with Master Porte."

Kharis unfolded her arms and hands as she perked up in hearing that a Jedi Knight was open to help her with any Jedi studying and training while Kas was in receipt of Jedi training. "Well now, this sounds promising. Sure let's go Kas. Master Porte was it, yeah?"

Kas nodded his head to Caden and Kharis, confirming that they can go ahead to meet Aiden in the Hangar Bay. Got up to stand and began walking with his siblings for the Hangar Bay. "Yeah Kharis. Let's get going."

After some time journeying throughout the grounds of the Sanctuary they arrived inside of the Hangar Bay taken a spot waiting for the Jedi Knight. The trio waited for Aiden to see if he'd turn up and who would be joining them.

Just a simple transport shuttle that was on the landing pad. Aiden had remained at the Sanctuary for a few days so his personal shuttle was at the homestead, for being out there alone. He sure did miss it, and of course he should. That was his home, for all the bad and dark things that happened out there in the past few months. The good and the light had seemingly wiped it all from existence, but he did feel a bit, by himself out there. Shiraya's Hope was out there so that was nice, some that tended to the gardens while others had still worked with his mothers Villa.

Should the day come that his mother and sister ever come back.

Gods, that would be a good day.

For now, it was just him. The last of the Porte's. It wasn't all so bad, he endured with hope and light.

Hope, something he hoped to teach and instill in Kas Larsen and even his siblings.

Aiden caught sight of them as he gave a small wave. "Hey Kas, glad you were able to round them up. My name is Aiden Porte." The Jedi Knight shook hands with the younger siblings and greeted them with warm grace and strong smile.

"It's good to meet you all." Aiden motioned for the transport shuttle. "Shall we get going?" He led them towards the shuttle, ready and more than willing to answer any questions that they might have along the way.

Kas arrived inside of the Hangar Bay accompanied by Caden and Kharis as per request from Aiden, his master, wanted to meet and get to know Kas' twin sister and younger brother. They waved in response.

Caden and Kharis smiled as they shook hands with Aiden who greeted them including Kas. The Force was strong within Caden and Kharis but with the three Larsens here before him there was a stronger presence.

"It's good to meet you, Master Porte, I'm Caden Kas and Kharis are my older siblings heh." Caden said to Aiden while getting ready to go aboard the personal shuttle that the Jedi Knight had arranged transportation.

"Nice to meet you, master. I'm Kharis, Kas' twin sister." Kharis replied to Aiden as she joined her younger brother aboard the transport shuttle that Aiden got ready for them.

"Where are we heading off to master?" Kas asked Aiden as he went inside of the shuttle followed Aiden and his siblings. Wondered what the Jedi Knight had in store for them all.

"Where are we heading off to master?" Kas asked Aiden as he went inside of the shuttle followed Aiden and his siblings. Wondered what the Jedi Knight had in store for them all.

"It's good to meet you both." Aiden said with a big smile as they moved towards the transport shuttle.

Aiden glanced back towards Kas as he spoke. "Well, we are going to take a trip to the homestead, my home. There's a few people I want you guys to meet and well show you around. The place is nearly completed, the attack on my home a month or so ago left long lasting damage. But by the grace of the force and Shiraya, things are starting to look up."

The shuttle fired up and began its rise and trip to the homestead. Which wasn't going to take more than a few minutes.

"It's a place also where you are more than welcome to visit anytime." Aiden said with a smile towards Kas and his siblings.

Objective: Meet with Jedi Knight Aiden Porte

Caden, Kas and Kharis gave a curt nod over to Aiden as they all met up in the Hangar Bay. A brief smile on their faces as they were greeting and meeting with the Jedi Knight. Now that they were informed by Aiden that he will be taking the trio off to his homestead. The Larsens felt bad for Aiden when he mentioned there were hardships endured. Caden, Kas and Kharis wouldn't mind helping with any repairs or works for Aiden.

"I'm sorry to hear that master if there is anything we can do to help, happy to. Who will we be meeting there?" Kas said to Aiden while he wondered about meeting other individuals at his master's home.

Caden glanced over to Aiden and was in agreement with his older brother when mentioning to help and to then hear the mention of being able to visit any time. "Sounds great to me Master Porte. I'm up for helping with work to assist any repairs."

Kharis was happy to help out someone else within the Jedi Order and hearing about the attack that occurred caused her to frown while thinking of the Larsen family home back on Corellia. "We'll pitch in where we can if you want some assistance Master Porte."

Caden, Kas and Kharis got aboard the transport shuttle that Aiden had arranged for taking them to his homestead. They curious to see what was in store for them as they sat down in passenger seats and buckled themselves in. Chit-chatting away among themselves as the trip began.
