A divine wind rose from the chests of the faithful, it's godly chorus sweeping the rows of warriors into zealous frenzy. The belly of the Matalok echoed the screeching song - which continued to rise as more shriveled lips joined to carry it higher into the heavens. Serpentine Amphistaffs bore their teeth and hissed alongside their vile masters, locking eyes on each other and trading vicious snaps of their fangs.

The time of immaculate resurrection was at hand, the breath of the priests had carried this message over the entirety of the Holy Covenant. Now the transcendental task of bringing about the will of the Gods lay on the shoulders of Krahl Shai - Chosen One of the Most Holy Covenant. Raising his voice over the crowd once again, the Supreme Overlord screamed to be heard over the vigorous battle prayers and songs to the righteous cleansing to come.

"Yun-Yuuzhan has spoken! We shall light this wretched world and burn open the pathway to our salvation!" fervent howels washed over his body, the gathered mass beating against the porous ground of their living home. Raising his arms from his sides, Krahl drew in on the divine inspiration - the tendrils of Yun-Yammaka's cloak slithering into the air in mimicry of his motions

"Blood and ash will cleanse our bodies of our ancestral sin! Below our feet awaits a decadent union of infidel and heretic, traitors to our people fornicating in the blasphemous conception of unholy imaginings with they who are known as Vagaari"

And unholy their creations were indeed. The Vagaari were once willing allies to the Yuuzhan Vong, preparing corridors of invasion for the Praetorite scouts. Once the war had ended, however, the vagrants had shown the extents of their treachery. They harbored the heretical Vong who traded the gods gifts in exchange for protection against their righteous demise.

Now they benefited from gifts that were not theirs. This was why the will of the gods brought the beginning of the end to their planet - for the most insulting of heresies would be first punished.

Dipping a set of clawed fingers into a bowl that had been set on a stand beside him, The Supreme Overlord collected the yellow, purulent concoction within by a loose grasp. The concoction stirred in his palm, pulsing against his skin.

"The blessing of the gods are upon you! This world will burn!" Casting the draining ball of pus and water into the air, the horrid brew cascaded in thick droplets upon the first warriors in the long mob.

"
Yun'tchilat Si!
" The hoard boomed the words back, The Gods Will It.

Like a night black ocean, the mob carried their bloodlust to the waiting transports, beating their chests with chutin and amphistaff. Reaching for the long staff he'd planted in the ground beside him, the Supreme Overlord took the hissing mess of the thrice-headed serpent into his hand and turned to the warbeast that would deliver him to the first of his many righteous victories.

Standing at to behind and to the left of Supreme Overlord Shai stood Khal’Kru, Master of Penance. For years he’d endeavored to prove himself, mission after mission that was well considered impossible, or suicide by many and he’d survived. His gray skin bore many scars, one going across his cranium, the marks of one who’d willingly gone against his people and attained something beyond their comprehension. Khal’s eyes had been opened to a power greater than himself, yet here his people stood still denying it and its true benefits. No matter, he still had to prove himself before them. Hands placed at the small of his back, an assortment of weapons concealed beneath his own Command Cloak Khal looked out to the others as their leader gave a speech.

The stomps of feet, booming of fists slamming to armored chests, turned into a symphony, a rhythm that flowed through Khal’s being. It was the rhythm of fall. They would bring such a reckoning upon the planet that other recent atrocities would pale in comparison. Eyes closing Khal’Kru took in a long breath, the scent of blood clang to the air as the cheers reached their zenith the soldiers turning and charging onwards to the vessels that would carry them to the ground below. Watching as the Supreme Overlord turned to claim his own weapon, Khal gave an incline of his head.

“What would you have your Arbiter do?” Right fist coming up and crossing over his chest to land atop the soldier’s heart as that incline of his head turned into a partial bow. The command cloak lowering to touch the floor. There had been many missions the Khal had undertaken, even having spent decades among the denizens of the galaxy, their mere presence grating on the Vong. He’d yet to be apart of a true invasion alongside his own people.

The Ship

The Golden Legion stood ready. Towering soldiers of fortune, complete with power armor, massive virbo saws and huge bolters. Tech that'd been stolen from the Omega Pyre Eras. He had his own designs TK did, but for now, the introduction of the Vong back into the galaxy suited him. The endless charade of empire, after empire. The ridiculous long lineage of folks that called themselves Emperor this and that.
When this settled he'd be a true Emperor.
But first they had to burn world after world.

End the ridiculous cycle, stop the ludicrous Empires.

How many had he served now? The New Order, The Shadow Empire, The Galactic Empire, The Imperial Remnant, and last the First Order.
Pathetic weaklings.

He stood silent, at the front of his Golden Legion. Banners flew all across the front as they loaded onto drop-ships, ready to ferry them to the planet below.....

Thion Genya

Repentant before the Gods
His faith could not be found wanting. Thion knew this, and it put steel in his spine even as it made his stomach churn.

He stood among rank upon rank of Yuuzhan Vong warriors, each one towering over him, out-bulking him by half. They paid him little enough heed. For all that he had proven himself to come this far, despite the marks of the Gods carved deep into his flesh for their pitiless eyes to see, he was still one of an infidel people. No matter how high he rose, no matter what great service he performed, he would never be above them, or even their equal. His only hope was that his service in battle, and his inevitable glorious death, would please the Yun'o so greatly that they might overlook the accident of his birth and gaze upon him with some small amount of favor when his spirit fled his body.

It was a lonely, desolate thought that brought him little comfort. But Thion had found that this was a lonely, desolate galaxy. Everything he had believed in before, all the hopes and dreams he had cherished since he'd been a child, had come to ruin and despair. Here, among the teeming multitude of shouting warriors, he at least could find purpose. And by the strength of the Gods, when their chosen crushed the Sith and the First Order and all the other petty tyrants of the galaxy, Thion would feel some thrill of satisfaction, some sense of justice long denied, a last flicker of the broken life he had left behind. So he shouted with the others, with all his strength. "Yun'tchilat Si!" The Gods will it.

He had never burned a world before. In the life before the agony and the faith, before the embrace of pain and the teachings of the priests had remade him, he would have shuddered and retched at the thought of being part of causing such suffering, and some weak portion of his soul still reeled and screamed at the thought of what he was about to participate in. But what was morality in the face of the Gods' commandments? How could he dare to question the will of the Creator, who had maimed Himself to create all things? Thion knew better. Questioning had been part of his old life. A single glimpse at the figure of the Supreme Warmaster reminded him that his role now was to obey.

His amphistaff coiled and uncoiled around his arm, as eager - or uncertain? - as he was. Thion smiled in bitter triumph, running a hand along the creature as it moved. He had tamed it himself, taken it just as it detached from its polyp and commanded it to be his, just as any true Yuuzhan Vong warrior would do. Thus far it had not tasted the hot blood of combat. For that matter, neither had he. Training had been brutal and relentless, and perhaps genuine enough - his taskmasters had not much cared whether he survived it, and in truth he barely had. But this was his first chance to win real glory, to prove himself worthy of the title of warrior, so far as one of the Repentant could earn it.

As he boarded the transport, a shadow of doubt and regret crossed Thion's mind. This was against everything he had ever stood for. But what was conscience before the Gods?

The splendor of battle readied warriors enamored Tsaa's senses. For far to long the Yuuzhan vong had endured and reaped nothing, nothing but pain. Pain that pleased the gods and was not in vain, As this was now the time to rise. Joining the frontal ranks of the warrior caste the large muscular vong warrior gripped his Hydrastaff tight. A weapon and symbol of command. Spear heading the assault apon Vagar Praxut was Domain Choka. A line of warriors renowned for their savagery and melee prowess. With a salute Tsaa struck his chest apon hearing the might of Supreme Overlord speak the words of the gods. There none other fit to manage such a task as [member="Krahl Shai"] did. Letting loose as roar Domain Choka threw their amphistaffs to the air, contributing to the bloodlust that had already saturated the very air they all breathed within the ship.

With an active leap the Warmaster jumped up shouting his praise and quickly turned to the countless battle ready warriors inside the Matalok. Walking back and forth his normal expression of a stoic nature could not be found. Passion over took him as he signaled to nearby Vong warriors to let loose on the drums of war. At first it was steady but as Warmaster Tsaa spoke the percussion steadily increased amping up all within the ship. " Yun'tchilat Si!" spit flew from his mouth. " You have heard the words of the gods chosen [member="Krahl Shai"]! You have heard the words of the gods!! Their blessing is already apon us and honor their divine grace we shall! Yun-Yammka relish the sacrifices we willing give to thee for you shall receive many!" The warmaster shouted atop his lungs to the very galaxy. His voice straining displaying his zeal for his gods.

"PURGE THE GALAXY!"

With a turn Tsaa Choka, Warmaster saluted faithful to his leader with a deep nod and turned to board the transports along with the others. His walk was determined before his warband and Domain of warriors. The fiery passion of war filled his every vein and etched its delight into his eyes. Eyes that fell apon [member="Thion Genya"], an eager individual and vessel for the gods to use. From appearance he looked to be a Repentant, This pleased the Warmaster greatly.

" The gods watch us. We are blessed with victory, Repentant." He stated simply with a toothy grin before continuing with his warband.

"You are to fulfill your purpose, my most prized instrument." Krahl stopped short of the pulsating cavity that lay open on the back-end of the dripping mass of tendrils that'd carry him to righteous combat. With a steady hand, he laid his jaded claws upon the forehead of the Master of Penance, @Kahl'Kru, "you are charged with bringing to me the sacrifices for the gods. Descend upon the infidels, slay all who resist and bring their leaders to their knees before me."

lifting his hand from the head of the Arbiter, Krahl looked down upon him with burning eyes of green fire, "succeed or die, the gods will it."

The Overlord's cloak clawed at the air as he spun and entered the transport, the legions of Vong within bowing to a single knee as he passed towards The Warmaster, [member="Tsaa Choka"]. The Warmaster was fervent in his devotion and already he was calling upon the blessing of the gods to embolden his warriors.

Beside the scarred beast of a warrior was a Repentant filth. The Heresy Born had burned the marks of Yun-Yammaka into his flesh and torn it asunder in ritualistic maiming. Such actions showed devotion, but only combat would show if the gods favored his unclean form. " Warmaster. I charge you with the reclamation of our gifts. When we disembark, take your warriors and seize the lambent fields from the infidels."

Looking down upon the wretched Repentant, Krahl sneered, "take this heresy born with you, let him prove his blood to the gods."
