The Lightsaber of Jaina Solo-Fel was one that she constructed when she was fourteen years old, in her uncle’s Praxeum on Yavin IV. There is a rich history with the Lightsaber of the Sword of the Jedi – a history that encompasses everything from the Yuuzhan Vong War to the downfall of a sibling. It is said that most of the history behind the blade was lost during the Gulag Plague. The blade traveled the stars after the death of the Jedi Master Jaina Solo-Fel sometime before the rise of the One Sith, before coming to rest as a retired piece amongst the other Jedi Relics on Onderon.It is said that a band of pirates raided the Jedi Temple, sometime during the third Jedi Purge and took various artifacts and relics – that included the lightsaber of Jaina Solo-Fel. After attempting to sell the artifacts on the black market with no success, the pirates fled to the Hoth system where their ship crashed but just before they crashed, they dumped their cargo. It was a last ditch effort to preserve what they worked so hard to steal – but it would prove to be a moot point. All the pirates would perish upon the icy world and leave behind the relics of the Jedi Order buried under the snow and ice. Some 700 years later, Mira Rekali traveled to Hoth after learning of the lost relics through various texts and holovids from the Jedi Archives. Upon arrival, she was shot down by a Jedi Assassin and Templar named Fiore. Upon learning that the Jedi had come for the artifacts – Fiore left Mira to her mission but not without a cost. As Fiore left the planet, she shot at Mira and caused her to fall into an ice cavern. Fortunately, for Mira, this ice cavern contained the remnants of the cargo left behind by the pirates.
Mira was able to dig through the various containers until she discovered the lost lightsaber of Jaina Solo-Fel. The saber was contained within a wooden box and on the inside of the lid were the words that Grandmaster Luke Skywalker spoke to his niece about being the Sword of the Jedi - some 800 years prior.
