OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
After working in the galaxy and Techno Union when they were first beginning to shape the connection between the Force and technology in the Obsidian Order, Jennifer Blanchard was starting to understand the need for a more in depth sharing of knowledge from leader to successor. Seeing the title of Mandalore, as one extreme example, but also crime bosses, and company leaders need to pass on their goals, aspirations, and strategies, not to mention those leading planetary or galactic militaries.
Working with some engineers from iBorg Augments, Jennifer Blanchard was able to produce the Life Torch. This device, when removed from its current user, takes all their personality and thoughts with it, stored in a data crystal. When installed in a new user, the Torch binds to their brain stem and links them to the data crystals, allowing for data sharing to what is on the crystal.
