The Left Hand of the Confederacy (Open)

Keter

The Renegade
Bothawui was meant to be safe. It was the stronghold of the CIS after all. It infuriated Keter. For all it's vaunted defences, someone had still nearly managed to kill his wife. And now she wanted Felicity to train here, away from them? The blond's heart raged, though he knew better than to voice his passions until he could take a measure of them. He could see Feena's point. Felicity could grow up with others of her own age and learn her abilities in a safe and monitored environment. But if something happened to her becuase he wasn't there...

The girls were his anchors. Without them, he would merely be what he was before. A rogue element. Not a father or a husband. Just another face in a agalaxy of millions. He would not lose his family. Not again. So he had taken it upon himself to secure their safety. The Confederacy would take their security seriously, or he would make them pay. He was stiridng down the hallway of the grand offices in which Feena worked. Security was high, as it should be when protecting the Archon's offices, even this late at night. He was making his way slowly deeper into the building, keeping to the shadows. Though the Archon's husband, he held no rank of distinction amongst the Confederacy. He would not be welcomed here. Luckily, it had been easy to obtain the security layout of the building following the attack on Feena. He was her husband, and had demanded a complete overhaul of security. Something that had been readily agreed to, all things considered. Having access to the overhaul and taken much more threatening and intimidation, but had eventually been granted as well to shut him up.

He knew the timings of the cameras, knew which ones he had to disrupt to continue and which ones he could just bypass. Doors he just sliced through with his sabers. He knew the guards would have raised the alarm by now, keeping it silent as they summoned support to investigate. He did not reallly care. He was here to prove a point, and secure the future. He could see the door leading to Feena's office up ahead. The guards wouldn't try to stop him - they would be focusing on contaiment, preventing his exit until enough force could be brought to bear to take him down. Why waste lives hunting down a force user in a dark building when you could just shut it down and bring in the Templars?

The Eternal Queen
Feena was tired. She was always tired, but tonight she was especially tired. She glanced at the chrono hanging on the far wall, yawning. She should be heading back to her apartment. Should be, but the pile of work on her desk was larger than ever. Her time away on medical leave had brought on more work than she wanted to deal with. And then she had her daughters upcoming training to worry about, as well as the threat still hanging over her and her family. She had already hired a crew to escort her to the planet, but she was still nervous about it.

And she was so tired. She couldn't work if she was falling asleep at her desk.

Just for a minute then, she decided, laying her head in her arms. She closed her eyes... and was promptly woken up by a beeping on her wrist. Time for medication again.
The Archon sat up straight again, popping the lid off the bottle. She was probably the last person here tonight, aside from the usual security. She'd been very clear that she did not want to increase her personal guard. And of course, her request had been entirely ignored. Right outside her office, a security officer was stationed at all times. Poor fellow. He must be as bored and tired as she was.

She swallowed both pills, stood up and went to the caf dispenser in her office. Once the disposable cup was filled, she mixed a touch of sweetener in it, stirred and took it to the door.

"For you," she said when the door slid open, handing it to the guard on duty that evening, "Thank you for sticking around for me so late."

Without another word, she turned to go back inside. Now she needed some for herself.

Darth Naefas, rather Arvis Syphex found it quite easy to move through the building with a concealed presence through the Force. He had been watching other factions within the Galaxy, besides the Fel Imperium, his duty may have been to Darth Vornskr, but his primary duty, his personal duty was to see peace in the Galaxy. Whether he had to do it against the Jedi, or with the Jedi, he didn't care. And he always kept to the shadows, a black garbed Sith Pureblood, black hood up, black sleeves and robes trailing to the ground past his knees, and slightly pooling behind him as if it was a rippling pool. He stopped for none, and when they tried to, with a wave of his hand, those who tried seemed to find themselves confused as to what had occurred as he turned the corner to continue on his path.

Darth Naefas, rather Arvis Syphex again when he was done here, a name he hadn't used in quite some time, would be creating ties between the Confederacy. His own personal ones anyway. He knew the woman's name, and she knew him solely by name alone, Arvis Syphex. They had been planning to meet upon the next day, but for plans to work at their best, they sometimes had to be pushed forward a little, and here he was, upon Bothawui.

There were quite a few holes in the doors already thanks to a previous visitor undoubtedly, though they seemed fresh, and Naefas just followed them until he started to jog slightly. It would be best to hurry. And then the Force carried his form through the hallways, until he found himself only down the hallway from @[member="Feena Mason"]'s office, he knew he had made it and continued onwards.

The Sith Pureblood continued walking to the door, and when the guard that was on duty straightened when he came and started to raise his blaster, he soon found himself fumbling to hold his weapon, while the Sith Knight's armoured knuckles crashed on the door, announcing his presence and he waited.

When cameras started going offline, it was pretty obvious that security would figure out something was wrong. The man watching from the security room had thought it might have been loose wiring for the first camera, but as another one went out, and another, he realized something was off. He sent a call over the comm to have it checked out, and not too long later, there was a response that a door had been forced open.

No, more accurately, the door had been cut open. With a lightsaber.

It wasn't long after that that the guard hit the silent alarm under the security console. Whoever cut that door in was using a weapon only Force-Users are known to use, and to the best of the guard's knowledge, the security in the building wasn't equipped to handle that kind of intruder. It was best to contain the situation for now, wait until someone who was equipped for this kind of thing showed up, like the Templars. In the meantime, it seemed that at least no one in the building was in danger-

Wait... Why was the guard outside @[member="Feena Mason"]'s office raising their blaster...?

The silent figure of Bothuwai's viceroy sat in the shadows, and here, there were always shadows. Regrettable at times, like when they had been used to attempt the assassination of the Archon, and their probable use during the suspected kidnapping of the Archon's daughter. But he wasn't here to prevent that, not at the moment. This time, he had gotten wind of another possible attempt on her life. Here, he lay across the street, listing equipment arrayed, the entire street bugged. Nothing would happen here without him noticing. So naturally, the alarm startled him. He readied a squad, before realizing what was up. Force user. The unmistakable snap-hiss of a lightsaber. He wished the Dread Guard were at his beck and call. But he would have to make do. Setting up an alarm post to send an alarm message to @[member="Isley Verd"]. "Sir, the Archon is in danger. Please respond." He felt bad for waking the mandalorian at this time of night, but he didn't know what else to do. He needed support.
