The Learning Curve

Yuroic watched patiently as Draven fell into his trance. He could feel the anguish and strong emotions roll off Draven, the boy seemed scared, angry and on edge. This was confirmed when the boy woke from his trance abruptly, cursing at Yuroic and demanding to know what happened to him. Yuroic sat down, looking straight at Draven, he remained calm and collected. He knew that visions could be powerfully realistic and often appear to be believable. It was something that Yuroic was not expected, however, he was sure that the Force gave the vision for a purpose. "I did not know that would happen Draven. I was preparing you to sense the Force amongst the plants and animals in the near area."

Clearing his mind, Yuroic attempted to calm Draven through the Force. "Breathe. It was a vision, it has passed and hopefully you have gained insight into what you were shown. For now, let us continue and extend your mind, sense the life around you. Look deeply at your surroundings and try to feel how everything is connected." Yuroic instructed, sense of calm rippled from him, attempting to soothe Draven's mind.

Draven nodded, and slowly calming himself, took a seat in front of his master, once again taking a seat, and opening his mind amongst the grass and trees. His mind reached out, every blade of grass, every leaf and bird and bug had a heart beat, a driving life force, the symphony of these caused Draven's heart to slow and his mind to refocus from the traumatic event which it had just been through. He simply focused on the force, and he could see every detail of the area. Every nook and cranny, down to the smallest ant.

Yuroic watched Draven carefully, ensuring that the boy wasn't going through another vision. Once he was sure that Draven was exploring their surroundings, he cleared his throat and began to talk. "Do you feel it? A connection between everything, a balance that keeps things from falling into chaos. How life becomes death but death feeds life. Reach closer for that connection, feel the Force." Yuroic instructed, this kind of Force was calm and natural. The Sith sought the Force through pain and anger, Yuroic saw that Dark Side power as destructive and corruptible.

"This Force is what binds the universe together, all living things have a connection to the Force, whether or not they realise or able to use it. Now, the Jedi use the Force in harmonious way with life." He attempted to explain in the best way he could.

Draven listened and continued to let his mind spread out, touching all the life forces around him and enjoying the deep feeling of peace, his eyes remaining firmly shut. He focused solely on this peace, on the inside beginning to calm and ease his mind as he listened to his master explain the force to him. [member="Yuroic Xeraic"]
