The Korriban Hex Rebellion is Over!

As my recent post in the OOC thread stated, in light of recent developments in the rebellion we've decided to give the victory to the Sith Order. This does not diminish your part in this whole event, and with virtually no complaints or reports from either side the OOC aspect was immensely successful. Sadly, I wish I could say the same for the IC actions taken by certain someones.

For those who do not know - I'm struggling to understand it myself - a large portion of Korriban City was reduced to rubble and an estimated 10,000 civilians were killed after one of ours decided to bomb the city to smithereens, completely unsanctioned by the SJO leadership. This, as you might imagine, does not sit well with us admins.

Jedi do not believe in "the end justifies the means", no matter the momentary strategic advantage it may provide you. It's just not in their vocabulary. We simply cannot fight our enemies on the same level of brutality - we have to be better than that.

Needless to say, I am hugely disappointed in this person that I shall not name here.

Aside from this late development, however, the Rebellion was largely successful and, were it not for this one huge travesty, I believe we had a shot at winning. But alas, some people are simply *too* keen on winning and then stuff like this happen. This is all about having fun, not doing everything and anything to deny your opponent.

At any rate, I wish to thank each and everyone who participated in the Rebellion! Hopefully you got some juicy character development out of it, and rest assured this won't be the last we'll see of the Sith Order; their admins are very keen on planning future inter-faction events, and we're more than happy to accommodate them.

We may have lost the battle, but the war is far from over.
