The Kingsmoot (Sith Kingdom, Ask)

Eclipstica. Raijin remembered the planet well from the days when Romeo Sin's family ruled it. Once upon a time, it had been a jewel of the Tingel Arm. The memory made a little knot grow inside what the Shard would sometimes refer to as his stomach. Compared to then, the cities were run down and ruled by crime. The Shadow Palace was crawling with vermin, both man and animal.

The Lightning Lord sighed metallically. This wouldn't impress the other members of the newly formed Sith Kingdom's council. Not at all. In fact, the trail of bodies he'd left was more impressive than anything the capitol could seem to offer. But it was a piece of his past, and a safe haven. What better place to establish a better kind of Sith than the farthest-flung corner of the galaxy?

Now, all Raijin had to do was wait. The coordinates were sent, the palace was cleaned out, and they could sit down and talk. Hopefully, this would go well. So, he sat in Romeo's old throne room petting his pet nexu.

Vaezan's presence would suddenly be felt, and that of his son Vashjyr as well. Their transport had touched down at a landing platform, and the descending boarding ramp made way for the two Sith. Both of them wasted no time on entering the palace, they tarried by glancing at the remarkable architecture of the palace. As the two black-robed Sith entered a long corridor Vaezan looked to his Son, "We have long been awaiting this day, my son.." Vaezan said cryptically, his son merely regarded him with an anxious stare followed by a few brief nods. Eventually they made their way into the meeting room, seeing the...droid unsettled them both. "Are you the one who sent out that message?" Vaezan said inquisitively, as he pulled back his hood (his son followed suit) he took a seat across from the machine, waiting to hear his...-IT'S- answer.

Raijin would have been the first to point out that his extrasensory powers weren't much of anything, and the appearance of the heavily tattooed Chagrian in front of him was a bit of a surprise. Not just his arrival, but his actual appearance. Compared to the Shard's casual mercenary-like jeans and trench coat, the long black robes were a bit... theatrical. He just shrugged and kept petting his gigantic four-eyed feline steed. When he finally spoke, his modulated voice had a bit of a drawl.

"Yes, I did send the message. Is that a problem, kid?"

He looked at the slightly shocked-looking man and his... child... with amusement. On the Holonet, nobody knows you're a sentient crystal in a droid body.

Vaezan was rather amused at being called a kid, and his son looked at the..creature with barely contained disgust. "Not at all, I have been waiting for such a summons for quite some time... I am thrilled this is finally happening." Vaezan took a moment to regain himself. "I am Vaezan Xiluk. This is my son Vashjyr Xiluk, and you know why we are here of course." Vaezan set his hands upon the table, and brought them together as he awaited the response from his mechanical host.

Raijin couldn't grin at the young Chagrian glaring at him, so he settled for a deep, rumbling, laugh. His nexu made a sort of cackling noise of its own, recognizing the sound of his master being happy. That little face, and the little horns, looking at him like that! It was priceless. He fell against his giant pet, making a noise like a breath after holding one for a while.

"Oh, I'm sorry... I've just never seen such a look on a kid from anything other than a nasty piece of candy. Name's Raijin. Some people call me a Darth, but nobody worth listening to. Vaezan, Vashjyr, welcome to Eclipstica, former home of the Shadow Empire."

Even without a face, it was clear that the Shard was excited, because his voice hit a new tone of drawling.

"...This planet, this city, and this palace will be just what my old friend wished. The seat of a kingdom that doesn’t succumb to the whims of the Jedi or the new Sith. A dark corner, just like Dromund Kaas was three thousand years ago."

Vaezan hadn't truly noticed the Nexu until now, it was a fearsome beast..and Vaezan knew it could be quite the handful if it was unleashed on anyone. Vaezan wondered about this peculiar...thing.. that spoke to him, and it definitely was not just a droid.

"Thinking ahead of ourselves aren't we? There is only the three of us. Hardly a kingdom...at least, not yet."

Vaezan was about to continue but Vashjyr interrupted him. "What are you exactly?!" The impatient youth demanded.

Raijin decided to answer the son before the father this time. Curious children were just delightful to talk to, with all those questions for him to talk about. He was a being who genuinely enjoyed talking to people, even though he'd given himself a somewhat sinister body to live in. That was part of the reason he wore clothes over his metal skin. He liked feeling like he was a person.

"What am I? Good question, little lordling. Inside this heavy metal body is a crystal, buzzing with Force Energy and using this droid like a puppet. That's what a Shard is."

Now, he turned to Vaezan, the would-be grin evident in his voice.

"I'm not getting ahead of myself, really, Mister Xiluk. As long as we don't follow the example of old Darth Vitiate and his planet-eating, we're well on our way to having our little corner of the galaxy."

Vashjyr blatantly stared at the 'droid' attempting to see the Shard, while Vazaen merely grunted his agreement.

"Kingdoms are not governed by lesser men; Who would rule this kingdom?" Vaezan asked plainly.

Raijin shrugged, petting his nexu once again. Did he really want to rule? No. Was it possible that he would have to? Yes. Another tired sigh.

"I just want to teach people... Here. On this planet. If that requires me to be king, then I'll do that."

"I have no desire to lead, and as such you will have no rival from the house of Xiluk. We only seek to leave the ways of the Sith behind; In place of something greater for ourselves." Vaezan replied.

Vashjyr nodded to the construct, "What would we need to do to get started?" Vaezan's son asked.

"Get started?"

The thought made Raijin laugh. He thought it should have been obvious what they needed - more people. Always more people. Their council right now consisted of three men and a giant cat. He scratched the giant cat's belly as he spoke, shaking his head.

"While the sentiment is nice, it will take months before we can even think of getting started. Students are what we need, and that takes searching."

As Xhinx sat and waited in an undisclosed location he felt the four presences enter the moot. The shadow began it's path on entering the meeting chamber to greet the fellows. Unsure on who or what they were, Xhinx went in with a mission.

Soon after a dark ancient looking ship landed close by, Xhinx was sure the others were aware of it's presence. The figure felt the beings converse and comfort themselves in the furniture as they plan out their motives. Xhinx then let himself be fully known and reveal himself to the others, almost creating a pulse in the fabric of time. The large dark tattered robed figure stood in the center of the doorway ready to commence.

"Let us start..."
