The Kingslayer

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

Jorryn stared sombrely outside the port of her personal transport ship, staring into the bleak darkness of space. She was still in a state of mild disbelief that her master had actually died and that she was the one who caused it. She worried that she had jumped the gun far too early, she still had so much to learn from him and now was in need of another to train her. Her eyes were drawn to her destination that now came into view, the beautiful jewel Ruusan. The sight of this planet made Jorryn sit straight up as the full magnificence of it came into view, along with the three sisters that orbited the planet. As the ship descended into the orbit of the planet, she could feel a great source of the force. She knew that this was the ancient Valley of the Jedi that held a significant amount of force energy in it, causing her imagination to wander about the location itself. She had never managed to go to Ruusan before, due to her old master keeping her on a rather short leash. The ship began to shake heavily as they went through the stratosphere of the planet, causing Jorryne to regain her focus to the matter at hand. She went to her chambers and changed into her regal outfit, putting on her shoulder guards and cape lifting the hood to cover her face. "We will be descending onto the planet soon, my lady." She smiled, looking forward to seeing the planet.

Darth Athyssius was within the training rooms garbed only in a pair of black trousers.

Muscles flexed and were covered in a sheen of sweat. He trained for hours. Hours on end to maximize himself on the battlefield. All of his training was for one purpose, and one purpose only. All so that he could survive longer on the battlefield. Those extra few moments to outlast your opponent.

Sapphire lightsabre tore through droids and imprisoned criminals alike. They were given a chance for freedom when he wasn't torturing them. All they had to do was kill him. In the beginning it always started off with them killing each other off for they knew the Dark Lord was too strong, but eventually it'd dawn on them that if they didn't kill the darkness that was in the spacious training room with them they would be slain. It was many against one.

And the one won every time.

Charged with the protection of the planet always had him receiving comms as to what was going on in the world outside of the Citadel.

What ships were approaching the planet, which were entering the planet's atmosphere.

So when [member="Jorren Charr"]'s ship's information was sent to Athyssius, there was a simple order he had.

"Redirect them to the Citadel or shoot them out of the sky."

He deactivated his lightsabre and turned to clad himself in his black cloak as a stray blaster bolt singed some of his hair off of his head.

There was a pause as he stopped walking to the exit and turned around to clasp the shooter with the Force.

Once the Force had wrapped itself around one of the remaining prisoners, their skull imploded. Rarely did he get to use the ability combustion, but when he did, it almost always had to be something exciting. And then he was gone to the entrance of the Citadel, on the way having his armour pushed and clipped into place on his person as he walked.

"Ship, you are ordered by command to land at the citadel or you with be terminated quickly."

The intercom lit up with an official command from the main citadel on the planet, the officer had a stern voice telling Jorryn that they weren't kidding about blasting her out of the sky. This command visibly annoyed Jorryn, who thought that she was above the orders of a small time commander. Her pilot looked towards Jorryn with concern, but she simply gave him a nod as a sign to follow the command. She was upset with being forced into an ultimatum by some simple officer, but she would show him the punishment for inconveniencing one of the Sith. She went to her the hangar door and waited for the ship to land.

The land was a bit rough, further angering Jorryn who was already incredibly annoyed by the inconvenience of being forced down. As the door opened, troopers lined up ready to escort into the citadel. "Take to to where your commanding officer is." She stormed down the halls of this colossal building, making her way to the command centre of the building.

She threw open the doors with the force and looked around the room."Which one of you was the man who forced my ship down." She demanded, surveying the room to see if the commanding officer was nearby.

Just what I needed.

Another hothead.

There was a grin as the armoured Dromund Kaas native slowly walked into the command centre behind the young woman. There was a relatively amused look on his face as he took his helmet off of his head and put it in the crook of his arm. Black armour, black cloak, black hair. All black everything. He visibly twitched at her hotheadedness. Too bad they weren't high enough in the air, else he would've also thrown her out the window as he had the last person who came into the Citadel.

"Treat my Stormtroopers with disrespect again," he said. Adrenaline still rushed through him as he entered the command centre behind her. "And the only meal you will find yourself eating is your own flesh," he said as he descended the steps. There was a roll of his shoulders as he set his helmet down on the nearest table and then clasped his hands in the small of his back.

"Why are you here?"

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

Jorryn was clearly shocked when the Sith Lord showed himself, taking off his helmet as he appeared behind her. "My Lord I am sorry, I didn't know that there was a Sith commanding the base here." She was flustered by both the sudden appearance of the man and how strong the force that was coming off of his presence was. She bowed down to him as a sign of apology and respect, hoping that she didn't anger him too badly.

She raised when he asked her why she was here. "My master recently died and I have been visiting places that have strong connections to the force in order to advance my learning by myself. I was hoping to reach the Valley of the Jedi and learn what I could from there." She said as she nervously rubbed her elbow.

She was still mildly petrified that she had crossed a Sith Lord and she knew from first hand experience how harsh they can be with their punishments.

"I loathe Sith like you."

There was a raise of his brow as he looked the girl up and down. "You demean the name you carry as Sith. You are merely an Acolyte. Remember that." There was a roll of the Dark Lord's shoulders as he hummed, closing his eyes.

"You sought to learn from the Valley of the Jedi. There is nothing of note there, you do realize? Merely long fallen ruins of Jedi Heroes. The best you'll do is finding yourself corrupted by some Sith far more powerful than you are," he said as he opened his eyes. Picking up his helmet, he walked out of the room before pointing to the doors that she had slammed open, "You're going to fix those too," he said. There was no joking from the Dark Lord of the Sith.

"Follow, Worm."

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

Jorryn felt the heat against her cheeks as she began to blush from embarrassment. "Of course, my lord." Suppressing the anger she felt about the casual insults she was receiving from the Sith.

Her suppressed anger turned to mild surprise as she heard that the Valley of the Jedi was not the source of power she had heard. This surprise quickly turned into visible disappointment, this wasn't the first time that she had visited a force nexus that turned out to be a let down. Many of those place had some sort of powerful spirit protecting them or were just fabricated, causing Jorryn to be hesitant with the places she visited that were noted in her old master's book.

As the Sith pointed towards the bent doors, it did cause Jorryn to realize she may have overreacted a tiny bit. "I will have my servant on it in no time." Turning on her communicator she called towards the man who piloted her ship. "Galen, come to the command deck. And bring the tools."

Jorryn gave a quick sprint to catch up to the Sith Lord as he exited the room, before matching his pace. "As you wish Lord." A bit of the anger she had felt earlier returning with the new insult.

The Kaasian Sith Lord stopped immediately and shook his head.

"No."

He turned around to face the girl in front of him. He said one thing, and she thought the other. He said one thing, and she did the other. This simply wasn't going to work if she didn't learn.

And one must learn if they wanted to be Sith.

"You will fix it, girl," he said those crimson orbs in his skull suddenly glowing as his teeth grounded upon each other. If there had been something between those teeth, they would've been going through a slaughterhouse with how hard they were dragging over each other. "I didn't ask for your servant," he said, and then there was a pause. In the Sith Triumvirate there was no slavery. It was his duty to arrest HER and then proceed to execute her, slowly. But she'd learn before his mind wandered that far.

Then he turned and continued walking towards the training rooms that he had been in.

Within the room there were at least five more imprisoned pirates just standing around with blasters waiting for the Sith to return. Pushing open the doors himself, he said, "Kill them all." A pause.

"With no weapons."

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

She was taken aback by the threatening tone in his voice when he demanded that she be the one who fixed the damaged doors. She didn't understand why the man didn't simply use his men or some lowly servants to repair it. "But I..." She trailed off as she realized that there was no arguing with the man in front of her. "As you wish Lord." She said with a defeated sigh as she continued to follow him down the hall.

She was surprised when the Sith Lord opened the door with five armed rough looking men, ordering her to kill all of them without using her weapons. "Is this some sort of joke my Lord? Why would you arm these me-" She was cut off by the sound of blaster fire coming towards her from one of the men, instinctively jumping out the way.

"What the hell is this?!" She shouted as she reached towards the lightsaber dangling from her belt.

There was a single reason why Darth Athyssius didn't want a servant to fix the doors. One reason that branched out into many others. But the overarching reason was that one had to train themselves before they could tell others what to do. You didn't learn how to be a leader in school. You learned from serving. And when he had still be known as Haytham Kaze, he had served plenty. First as a farmer. Then as a Jedi. Then as an Apprentice to one of the former Triumvirs.

Now...

He led.

Blaster shots flew at them, but he ignored them.

"The rules have changed," he projected his voice throughout the spacious room that was more akin to a stadium than a training room. "Kill this girl and you will have your freedom." He crossed his arms at Jorrel. Throughout his announcement he had been staring at her, waiting for her outburst, waiting for her rant of questions, perhaps even wait for her to try and flee. Of course, he had no intention of freeing them even if they killed the would be Sith. They'd just be... Rewarded with a quick death.

If she lived, then he would ask what her name was.

Could she prove her worth? Or would she fail?

"Fight." He said.

"Or die."

"It means nothing to me."

Some of her hair got singed as another came nearer to her head from another one of the prisoners, with jeers coming from them about how they can finally get their freedom. The stress of the situation began to give Jorryn a headache, she hadn't expected to fight five armed men without the use of her weapons.

She ran towards the man who had shot the first time, a shorter fellow with an eye-patch and ratty beard, and ducked the shot as he fired a second one. With a quick strike from her elbow, Jorryn managed to crack the man's jaw and send him backwards. She was relieved that she had taken lessons in Echani martial arts, she had always hoped they would come in handy and now was they time.

"Come on boys, we just have to kill this girl then we're free." Her attention went to the Trandoshan who said that. She ran at him as his head was turned towards his comrades, catching him a bit off guard as he turned to fire at her. The look of shock as he felt his body pulled towards her almost made Jorryn smile. As he flew towards her as a result of her force pull she lifted her knee and caught him right in the ribs, shattering a few with him coughing up some green blood.

She snapped the reptilians neck as he rested on her knee, using the force to help twist it. He attention then went to the biggest threat in the room, the massive Wookie over in the corner. It's fur was matted and clumped together in some places, an obvious sign of the conditions of the prison here. He ran at her as another one of the prisoners began to open fire on her, forcing her to dodge the blast. Unfortunately that led her right in front of the wookie who punched her in the cheek, causing blood to begin dripping out of her mouth. The Wookie took advantage of her disorientation and managed to catch her throat in his hands, lifting her a few feet of the ground. His strength had obviously not decreased much, probably due to the resilience of the Wookie people, causing her to rapidly lose consciousness.

"That's it big guy, just hold her there." Commanded a fourth prisoner with a grin as he lifted his gun towards her. With one last act before she lost consciousness, Jorryn used the force to turn the prisoners gun towards the wookie as he shot. A loud growl of pain and anger came from the Wookie as he dropped Jorryn, who was gasping for breath. The Wookie made it's way to the other prisoner, obviously in a state of anger.

"Look big guy it was just a mistake."

The Wookie tore the prisoners arms off his body, causing terror from both Jorryn and the final prisoner. The Wookie now limped it's way back towards her as she lay on the ground. She managed to catch it off guard with a force enhanced leg sweep, knocking the beast to the ground as she pulled it towards her and gave it an elbow to the windpipe. The beast rushed to it's feed in a state of panic as it began coughing and hacking through what was an obviously crushed windpipe.

As the Wookie stumbled away the final prisoner, a small Duros man, tried to fire another shot, but using the force she simply crushed the prisoner's head against the wall he was standing next to. She was tired of fighting at this point and stood straight up as she walked towards the distraught Wookie. With a final kick to the body, crushing the Wookie's left lung, it feel to the ground, obviously not going to survive. She decided to let the Wookie's death prolong as she made her way to the door frame where the Sith Lord was standing.

"Are you happy, my lord?" She said drily as she wiped the blood that was trickling down her throat away with the cloth on her wrist.

The Dark Lord of the Sith wasn't even watching what was going on. He felt the panic every now and then just before someone died, but he was preoccupying himself with sending orders to the Stormtroopers throughout the Citadel. In his mind he imagined there would be plenty of people who thought they could simply waltz into Triumvirate Space. Namely Jedi, and those Jedi would be finding themselves with a lot of problems. Namely cannons, but those were being built as [member="Jorren Charr"] fought.

And then she was done.

She still had a lack of respect, but what could one expect within the first half hour of meeting a mongrel like her?

There was a sigh from him.

The Force crashed into her, forcing her to her knees in front of him as he looked up from the wristpad to the destruction she had wrought, and then to the girl that should've been on the floor before him.

"I've decided to let you keep your life," he said, even drier than she had. "I can't stand your attitude. Within a week, it'll be beaten out of you. Then, we'll focus on the studying of the Force."

If she thought she was going to have a choice on the matter, she wouldn't. Instead, he walked out of the open doors behind him. Her ship already locked down. Pilot compensated for his troubles and an opportunity to leave the planet if he wanted to. There was one thing the girl needed to understand if she wanted to live...

Darth Athyssius was the one in charge.

"We begin immediately."

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

A loud groan came out of Jorryn as she fell to her knees in front of of the Sith Lord, a mixture of both the forced movement and shock about how casually the move was pulled off by him. Some of the blood from her earlier battle had managed to escape her mouth as she went down, bringing up anger that she again managed to subdue.

She brought one knee up to a crouching / kneeling position as she overheard on the intercom that her pilot had decided to leave her behind with the offer. "The goddamned traitor." Jorryn thought as she knelt in front of the Dark Lord.

"As you say, Lord." There was obviously no way out of this situation, as much as she wanted to leave. She regretted coming to this god forsaken rock as she rose to her feet, cursing her luck.

The Force was released from her person, allowing her to move freely. There was no beckoning hand from him, merely that she piece together she is meant to follow him immediately. Normally had he not the company of someone of such high import, he would've cleaned up the mess himself, but instead sanitation droids and personnel were starting to funnel in from the entrance that Athyssius had just exited from.

When she finally did follow him, she would find that he was leading her towards another training room.

"What weapons do you have?"

She must've had weapons. A lightsabre likely, perhaps even a blaster or two based upon her appearance.

Once they entered into the more practically sized room for a training room, the cloak was removed from the Sith's form as he said, "Show me what you can do." Training droids came out, but they would only begin to attack one at a time. After every single one she felled, they would've increasingly become more difficult to combat.

[member="Jorren Charr"]

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

"Another damned training room? How big is this facility?" Jorryn thought to herself as she began to realize the sheer size of the complex she was in, wandering beside The Sith as she made her way towards the next training room.

"I only have my lightsaber and the force. Blasters are meant for lesser people who haven't evolved to the point we have." She said, swelling with pride when she mentioned the force. Jorryn was a fervent believer in the superiority of Force sensitive people compared to their unimpressive fellow humans. She pulled out her crimson lightsaber to show towards the man beside her, a small remembrance of her old master helping her building gave Jorryn a sense of sadness that she tried to hide.

As the droids came towards her, Jorryn easily dispatched the first one with a simple movement of the wrist smiling as the machination slide apart from the rest of it's own body. Then another came forward that she simply impaled in the chassis, sparks flying outwards.

This continued for the next few droids before they began to put up a real fight, one she underestimated and managed to strike her in the ribs. Jorryn used the pain as a well of energy for her force powers and shattered the robot against the wall.

The next droid came equipped with a training vibroblade which she guessed to be non-lethal, she was incorrect in this assumption. A sloppy strike forced her to block the attack with her forearm, leaving a small gash a few centimetres below her wrist. The pain caught her by surprise, as she turned to face the Sith Lord. "The first fight was against real people, of course this man doesn't have proper training droids." She thought to herself as she cut the robot in half.

Knowing this helped Jorryn to finish the next few droids, but then they started to give her trouble, fighting her to a near-standstill. Another droid came out and assumed a proper stance, something the other droids had not done. She barely managed to catch the strike aimed at her head as the droid dashed towards her with unexpected agility, catching Jorryn off guard. As she was holding off the surprisingly strong droid, she turned to face the Sith Lord who was still in the doorway. "Don't you think this is enough." She said as she jumped backwards, barely avoiding the blade of the robot. Readying herself for another attack against her opponent.

Darth Athyssius was a Sith, but he was extremely empathetic. He could feel and understand the sadness she felt when she had drawn out her lightsabre, but he said nothing.

Of course, he also felt her irritation when she had easily taken out the droids. But when they steadily started to grow more difficult, that's when her arrogance dissipated.

"Not nearly enough," the Sith said.

A hand raised to force push the droid away from her with his right, and in the left came his sapphire lightsabre exploding into life as he suddenly appeared at the side of the girl.

Blue blade came around in a horizontal slash towards her midsection, threatening to cut her in half if she didn't evade or block the attack. It was sweeping, wild in appearance, but most definitely controlled.

[member="Jorren Charr"]

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

She deactivated her lightsaber as the droid went flying across the room, a bit disappointed that the Sith Lord was unphazed by her performance.

As her eyes trailed the droid as it sailed across the room she barely noticed the Sith Lord come up beside her, only managing a brief glimpse due to her force sense. She managed to get one foot to the side before he swung his sapphire blade at her, giving her just enough squeeze room to block the shot.

The block wasn't perfect however, due to her late reaction, and it caused her to lose a bit of footing as she was on the downside of the saber clash. "What the hell, I thought you said I could live! You're going to kill me because I couldn't destroy a million droids in a row?" A mixture of panic, anger, and surprise in her voice.

She blocked the lightsabre, but he didn't stop there.

The lightsabre strike had knocked her onto the back foot and he had straightened out his posture, straightening to his full imposing height.The armour he bore only making him appear to be much larger than he actually was. "You're full of complaints." The lightsabre slashed from her left shoulder to her right hip, threatening to cut her in half. "You're not worthy of being a Sith." He wanted to keep her on the back foot, always having her retreating. It would mean he had the advantage for eventually she would be met with nothing if she didn't stand her ground and fight.

"You're not worthy of a life." This time he went with a stabbing motion, attempting to spear her through the shoulder.

[member="Jorren Charr"]

[member="Haytham Kaze"]

Jorryn knew that the Sith Lord had the advantage as long as she was forced to favour one foot over the other, using his imposing figure to push this advantage even further. His size over her was succeeding in intimidating her, but she knew that she would be able to fight him better if she got further distance to make full use of her Makashi fighting stance. Her opportunity came when the Sith made a swipe at her should, sweeping her foot around and lifting her blade to block the strike.

She tried to take further advantage of the opening from blocking his blade by elbowing the man's ribs, but her strike was only met with the coldness of his armour. The pain in her elbow caused a split second opportunity that allowed the Sith Lord to get in a quick jab at her shoulder. She couldn't properly dodge the strike, instead preferring a roll to the side.

Nnnngh... A small groan escaped Jorryn's lips as the blade connected with the edge of her shoulder as she attempted to avoid it, the wound instantly cauterizing due to the heat of the blade. The pain of the strike combined with the anger she felt towards his taunts caused Jorryn to scream loudly as she came up from the roll, attempting a side swing to disarm the Lord's weapon.

Her elbow met his armour and he would've frowned had he not been in the midst of battle. Had she forgotten, or was she simply lacking wit? Regardless, his lightsabre had penetrated her shoulder just enough for him to feel the pain that she did through the Force. But when she rolled to the side to try and get away from him, she swung at his lightsabre as if possessed, but instead of dislodging it as she hoped she would, she just knocked it to the side.

But with that he only need one step towards her for him to send his hand to her throat to clutch it if she had been too slow to stop him, or get away.

"You're quick," he said regardless of the aforementioned results. "But not intelligent." It came with her hotheadedness he supposed.

Fast, yet slow.

Even if she was a few years younger than him, he taunted her nonetheless.

"Just a stupid little girl."

The blue blade came up above Athyssius as if yearning for the touch of the high ceiling, before it came down behind the blade. The Force was coalescing around the lightsabre blade. When [member="Jorren Charr"] found herself blocking the slash, she would've felt the Force itself shoving her towards the ground. Not only did the Sith employ the Force to empower and enhance his speed in combat, but the Force itself followed his lightsabre and exploded over her smaller figure.

Unless she dodged it, and his lightsabre would burn a hole into the thick flooring.
