Description:
When in the business of drugs and other narcotics if you buy from third parties to distribute your product, you don't work for yourself. You work for the person selling it to you, because it's not really your product, it's theirs that you are selling for a marked up price. If you truly want to own your own operation then you need to be able to supply and distribute your own product. And that's exactly what the Black Tie Syndicate sought to do when they took over The Kessel Connection, a manner once known as "Ponz's Palace" a large sprawling mansion on the surface of the planet. It's your standard grandiose manner with dozens of rooms, entertainment, and even a selection of three pools and a natural hot spring grotto in the backyard. There's a standard shield generator to help defenses but other than that there are no auto turrets or emplacements other than a physical perimeter and a couple of guard shacks. It's main purpose is to serve as a base of operations on Kessel and move spice from the mines a few miles away.
History:
Owned by a Bill Ponderosa a made man in the old school Black Sun criminal empire the man carved out a decent sized piece of Kessel for himself, owning a few mines and controlling the movement of a lot of spice through the galaxy. After the Suns fell he continued to sell becoming quite the user who got high on his own supply. He was a pig, grossly incompetent, and a problem. This was why he and his entire organization was killed by the Black Tie Syndicate via poisoned brandy at his mansion in a joint operation that freed his slaves from their camps a few miles away. With [member="Lady Kay"] leading the charge for freedom she and her men helped liberate the camps of slaves where they were given the choice to continue work and be paid a living wage with benefits and healthcare from the people's criminal [member="James Justice"] due to the Syndicate not supporting slavery. With a well treated workforce working the mines miles away the Kessel Connection moves large metric tons of spice for the Syndicate to add to their list of product that they sell.
