[SIZE=9pt]Description[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]: Commissioned by Domino, the Katarina appears as if someone crossed a hot-rod with the luxury yacht of a prince. As the culmination of Domino’s advanced shipbuilding techniques, high technology research, and even force knowledge with just a dash of alien tech for spice, it’s both that and more. The ship was designed to allow Domino peace and a place to continue her research whatever that might be from medical to force alchemy and anything in between. It was also created to correct past mistakes, hence the exceptional offensive and defensive capabilities hidden away about the Katarina. [/SIZE]
Offensive Systems
The Katarina boasts sixteen dual heavy turbolasers employing spun tibanna gas as its main armament. The Phenex Mk II was the natural choice with its myriad of targeting systems and back-up power supply. Even alone and isolated, a single turret is combat effective until its destroyed. Backing them up are four forward-facing missile launchers and two rear launchers. Each missile tube can be fed either Sparrow Hawk or VT-Disruptor Missiles. For less lethal actions and to disable potential targets, the Katarina utilizes six null-burst projectors, the design of which Domino received as partial payment from Matsu for Phenex Industries.
Defensive Systems
The Katarina protects itself with a powerful Xythan forcefield under which lays a a layer of composite armoring. Produced by Kotass Industries, this hybrid turadium-durasteel mix was originally three times the strength of durasteel for less weight than pure turadium. That was before Domino used art of the small to molecularly compress it down from fifty centimeters to thirty, increasing its protective qualities exponentially. During this process she also fused the edges of each plate together on the molecular level to create a single seamless piece that covers the entire ship. For support, the cruiser's frame is made of pure phrik, the first to do so to Domino's knowledge. The quantity required alone would bankrupt most star systems & Domino could only manage it because she owned the mine and company which produced it. Again Domino's Force abilities were put to the test during its shaping and the bottleneck necessitated by her being the only one able to fuse ends together while working with such large pieces of phrik before it hardened.
For active defense the Katarina carries a pair of Tenloss MH-EW pods to deactivate incoming missiles and fighters, leaving them sitting pretty and powerless for the cruisers thirty defensive laser cannons. Should a missile of some sort get through the EW pods and laser fire, a concussion field surrounds the ship to cause an early detonation and lessen its effect against the armor. An ablative coating helps disperse laser fire against a larger area of the armor's surface which is backed by Tenloss' TTI Faraday cage and spray on coating to protect against emp & ion weaponry. Cap drains and auto-resetting breakers add further protection against such attacks. A plate of pure turadium, compressed like the main armor, forms the roof and face of each turbolaser turret to protect the ship's guns from return fire and fighters/bombers.

Propulsion
The heart of the Katarina is its thirteen precision hand-crafted twin turbo high output ion turbine engines based on the unique engines of the Black Hex Star Destroyer Domino captured over Dagobah. They provide superior thrust over others in their size class and give the Katarina a surprising turn of speed. All the original Hex parts were used in the construction of the Reason, but the knowledge and techniques were kept. Domino pulled in an old acquaintance, Ookarwa, the engineer that worked with the original engines to recreate and revamp them this time around. The work needed was so precise that it necessitated hand-crafting to less than one millimeter off spec for the entirety of each assembly. Finally each engine was housed in an Integrated Engine Baffle made of turadium to both hide the drive exhaust and to protect the ship's drives from from hostile fire.
With it's fast, hyper-accurate, hyperdrive, the Baobab charts, and a HIMS, the Katarina can go almost anywhere with near impunity.

Stealth Systems
There isn't anything radically special about the Katarina's stealth compliment. Stygium cloaks have been around for eons. The cruiser does however include baffled engines so it can't be detected by its exhaust trace and gravatic modulators to foil gravity sensors. Backup sensor negators were included for long-range infiltration and in case of emergencies such as the cloak failing in hostile space.
Command Systems
The focal point of the Command Bridge is Domino's VT Command throne (locked to her DNA) on a raised dais from which she can control the entire ship. When Domino isn't in personal control, crew stations serve as they would on any other vessel. Assisting with either is the Virtual Intelligence Argo who oversees all aspects of the Katarina, from big-picture tactical situations, right down to crew safety. The front section is dominated by a large viewscreen that allows for exterior views and tactical information to be displayed considering the bridge is buried deep within the ship.
Directly to its rear is one of Matsu's logistical suites which, combined with the hyper-accurate star charts of Baobab Astrography, acts as a navigational planning and map room for Domino and her officers. This, the fast-acting navigational computer, and a quick hyperdive serve the Katarina well in remaining several steps ahead of her enemies. The suite also back-doors into the Silver Jedi's logistical satellite network which provides real-time updates on ship traffic and navigational hazards in their territory.

Internal Security
In true Domino fashion, internal security was spared no small attention. Every door is secured by either a password, biometrics, or a combination of the two. Visitors are given RFID badges with their picture to allow access to permitted sections and everybody is tracked by life sign sensors. Special security doors and bulkheads made of Turadium are spaced every 50 meters starting from the forward fighting compartment and running to within 100 meters of the stern where engineering takes over. The ship's corridors are also only labeled with alpha-numeric strings and painted all the same to make things just that much more difficult. Though these will only delay or turn about intruders; to act as counter to boarders and assist the Katarina's Marines, a highly dangerous offensive system that partially mirrors the earlier Apollyon Command Carrier was installed.
Shatory sensors are laced throughout the flooring and are linked to auto-blasters firing heat beams and sonic emitters to counter cloaked or hidden intruders. These can also be controlled by the ship's V.I. or security forces along with specially electrified sections of the ship outside crucial areas. All this pales in comparison to a measure that you're susceptible to as soon as you board however. With proper codes, Argo or someone with bridge access can manually control the grav-plating throughout the ship, turning them off, dialing them up, or even reversing them to send intruders head-first into the ceiling in an instant. Most terrifying of all though is when one panel is dialed up and the one after it it reversed, creating a massive gravitational differential millimeters apart, able to crunch bones and rend internal organs, unblockable by armor or shield. Finally marines are duty-stationed nearby the hanger and all airlocks while weapon lockers are placed throughout the ship for the crew.

Hanger
Opening to the underside of the ship like an Imperial hanger, the Katarina's houses a squadron of defensive fighters and the dropships needed to land her compliment of Marines in addition to Domino's personal fighter and a shuttle for visitors. Not constrained by gravity as well unwilling to submit to lazy design habits of 'up' always being the same direction, Tenebrae squadron is housed along the 'roof' of the hanger, upside-down to the larger dropships and shuttle below. In effect, each floor acts as ceiling to the other. This has the added benefit of keeping the crews for each out of the other's way while lessening the space needed or wasted on flight room. The rotated gravity should hold up even when the Katarina enters planetary atmosphere like it did on the Lusankya.
Considering the Katarina can only set down in water and the location of the hanger on the ship's underside, it becomes unusable when landed. Domino however wanted it there for the protection offered by the down-plunging bowsprit. Lab & Workshop
One of the highest security areas of the ship is Domino's personal research laboratory and workshop. Comprised of a small suite of rooms, they allow Domino to conduct her research, run experiments, and craft small items and prototypes. This is also where she has her genome cylinder and alchemy tools. Hidden passages connect it to her quarters and personal library.
Personal Suite
In sharp contrast with other personal constructions of its maker, Domino's personal suite places a higher value on comfort than elegance. Flex-carpet lines the floors and the tile of the fresher is heated as well. Vine Silk forms the bedding and the rest of the furniture is equally soft and inviting.
Arboretum
A small park along the dorsal portion of the ship that juts out over the engines, the Arboretum was added as a place to relax among nature away from the sterile nature of a space ship during long voyages. Endor Rabbits race across grassy knolls and among the trees while fish wait to be caught in a shallow lake connected to several scenic ponds. Several minimalist structures provide gathering and focal points for crew diversions. An area of particular interest to Domino, she insured that it was included to give Myunnah a place to feel like an animal should.
