The Justice strikes back--AKA: Going William Wallace (pm for invite)

Location: Sernpidal
Time: Noon

Music for thread here.
Justice Shipping OOC here

Objective: (please use one)
A- relief to the poor;
The recent actions of the Republic have left many poor and without work. We are going to give aid to the unemployed. Feel free to jump in on this

B-Privateering for Justice Shipping's allies
We have many allies, some have holding here or products. We are going to do what any good ally would do--and take it back by blaster point

C-Smuggling
Its in our blood, its what we do. Some of those around here would pay 400%+ for luxury goods such as sugar. We are capitalists after all, we will do that...

D-Butterfly
Be unique, do your own thing that you think helps the poor or gives Justice Shipping Ltd's stuff an edge.

NOTE: this is NOT a dominion, its just a company action thread.

James Justice was one of the few people in the world would get rageful for farmers loosing their jobs. Here, decending from orbit of the planet, he was enraged. His fleet, over 100 strong in various ships, were here as well. Some were following him to the surface to give aid, others were going on their way. What mattered here was that the good common people needed to know someone stood for them, and by them. How many laws had James broken to get here? A few dozen he was sure. But that didn't matter. He was the People's Criminal. His army, his fleet, was at the disposal and the purpose to aid the weak. Even the forces he brought were once the lower echelons of life.

Did he expect resistance? Of course, that is why he brought an army. Did he expect a war? Of course, that is why the had guns. Every tyrant held onto power and squeezed the lifeblood out of their subjects. James was here to help stop that.

As his Lost Angel came to rest in the center of the small farming town, a heavy freighter followed him, landing not too far away. The spacer walked down the loading ramp of his small ship, followed by faithful Reed, his battered astromech droid. The spacer looked around, anger filled his soul. There were dozens of people peering terrified. The tyrants had taken their jobs and now their security in the name of freedom. Freedom. Thats what this was about.

"People," He began, raising his arms to the sky, "I bring ye hope, I bring ye food, I bring ye medicine. I am here to tell ye that ye are not alone. We stand by ye, and we support ye," several of the workers, some droids, some organics, began to unload the ship and fan out, securing the perimeter and giving friendly smiles to the civilians, "Justice Shipping stand for ye. We are here to aid ye in ye plight from the oppressors."

Niyla was often the type to 'just be in it for herself'. However the girl had a heart, and that was why she was here: to help others. Either that or it was the debt she owed Justice.

She stepped out of her battered ship the CS Alura which had flown in with Justice shipping Ltds fleet. The ringmaster held tons of heavy 'cargo' compartments in hand with the help of her mass nulling clip. Her eyes gazing upon the site of terror and fear. She was one of those people that could hear about tragedy and it would not phase her in the slightest. However looking upon the chaos with her own eyes, well, that told a different story.

As she unloaded the cargo a short man with raven hair ran up to her, frantically telling of how his family was in danger and need of assistance. Niyla honestly had no idea how to respond. "I- I would ask him." She said unsure and pointed towards the man of the show- James Justice. "Bu-but here take this fruit." Niyla picked some fruit off of the top of a cargo box and handed it to him, he looked at her concerned and she couldn't help but be embarrassed. Why was she even helping them? How did any of this concern her? These questions flowed through her mind as he stared at her. "What do you want now?" She asked, rather blatantly. He then perched his head to the side and started rambling. Niyla felt ashamed, she shouldn't be here.

Yet she was, and the girl would just have to deal with it because she appreciated what it was they were doing here, even if she never really understood what it was like to be normal, at least not like the people she surrounded herself with. All her life she had been told she was a freak, or a carnie, so being here in this place was just unusual to her.

Niyla then had to get back on task, she had let her worries occupy her thoughts. The scavenger looked up to the man and simply nodded, she then walked off and found her way to where the main distribution was going on.

Once she arrived at the location the crates were entirely gobbled up by a mob of people before she could even let them off of the nulling clips weight limit.

"Alright people one at a time!" Niyla yelled out trying to sound as nice as possible, though she was really just impatient and flustered at the moment. She quickly found her senses, for the most part. Afterall she had to have a clear head, Niyla didn't 'just' come here to help.

She had smuggling to do.

Ashalah came down from the dock of the Lost Angel, dressed in a skin-tight black suit, a black visor covering her face that was clipped over her racial headpiece to keep it in place. On each hip was a blaster pistol. Across her back was a sniper rifle. Black gloves and boots covered her appendages as well. She had been hired by [member="James Justice"] to resolve some issues with a farming community under his command. She hadn't been giving full details about the job, but she didn't need to know the whole story. She was used to not knowing with the Hutts in the past.

He gave a great speech to the people, raising his blaster in the air to a chorus of cheers. That was her cue. Moving from his side, she retreated back into the Angel to retrieve a large crate. She pushed it off the ship and onto the ground below. "Form a line, please!" She called out to the quickly-assembling crowd, trying to sound as friendly as possible. Pressing a button on the side of her helmet, the visor retracted into black panels on her cheeks, revealing a smiling face.

As the villagers began to form a crude, wavy line, Ashalah opened the crate and began to hand out food packages.

What luck. Dia signs up with a shipping company just before things go to Chaos. Well, Chaos is good business, and Dia wasn't one to deny good business. The Eternal Corsair was small, but that meant it was easier to get things in under the radar. As her ship touches down and she hops out of the lowering cargo bay door, she looks out at the people gathered forth and smirks. She's not one to get involved with politics, but she knows all too well what it's like to be screwed over by circumstances beyond one's control. That's why she decided to waive the usual fee for this shipment. Besides, all good deeds eventually pay themselves forward.

The Twi'lek slides the crates out from the Corsair's hold and starts passing out the medical supplies within. Since this job is pro bono, she couldn't spring for expensive medicine, but in dire straits, even simple disinfectants and painkillers are appreciated. As the people gathered collect the supplies, Dia pulls out a small tablet and calls out, already prepared for business.

"Alright, I'm open for orders! Anything you need, I can get for a competitive fee! Terms and conditions do apply, people!"

This was going to be good business.

Good business indeed.

Such a sad time for any small company under the republic...and a sad day for those who worked for them

Stardust got off the ship carrying crates and setting them down, however none would approach, they seemed scared by her appearance... Did she blame them no in a uncertain time it was OK to be scared

It is OK"she spike calmly and smiled letting the force out to calm them"make a line and I'll ration your portion out by number of family loving underneath your roof"she said and watched as them formed a line none the less just not a straight line

She started handing out stuff and ration looking out among them....why did the common people suffer such from the acts of the enemy...she'd nevr rknow

James listened as the man that Niyla had directed to him spoke quickly and in rushed tones, nodding every now and then. Satisfied he patted the man on the shoulder and sent him away with a food pack before gathering his more senior workers. ((All PCs here ;) ))

"Take a look around, tell me what ye dun't see," he paused and let out a haze of smoke from his lips. "Women. Thar be no women under fifty here. Anyone wondering why?" he answered his own question by pointing to a nearby hill outside of the city limits, "Bandits came through, nabbed everyone. Holed themselves up over yon. The guards here can handle this, but we have a rescue to perform," he nodded to Niyla and Dia, "Ye can finish ye end of business up when we finish this. We can't leave them ladies there to a fate worse than death. We move out now, on foot so they don't see us."

The move on foot was quick, it took fifteen minutes or less until they came to the outskirts of an abandoned factory. A few of the raiders stood sporadically, trying to cover the ground. However, it was clear t see they had no military back ground--or none worth mentioning.

Objective A - Relief to the poor

Raised as a farmer himself, Dion was enthusiastic about helping Sernpidal's rural populations endure the hardships they were currently facing. Farmers were often the first to suffer in the face of martial law; he recalled his grandfather's stories about the abuses that government visited upon honest laborers as he observed the aid-packages being unloaded from James's heavy freighter. Papa would be proud, he thought to himself.

Dion was part of the security team tasked with establishing the perimeter around the town and the Lost Angel; he carried a full arsenal of blades, grenades, and even a compact blaster rifle which he wouldn't normally bring, but which seemed prudent as he surveyed the wide-open farmland with his cybernetically-enhanced vision from atop a high hill. Nearby, a heavy anti-aircraft turret was being set-up by some of James's crew. Dion observed from afar as James himself set out with a small party to perform a rescue operation-- he'd considered joining, but knew that the perimeter-guard was an important duty, and that if anything went wrong here, someone would need to alert the captain.

Dia pulls out her blaster and follows behind James. "Right behind you, boss. Been itching for some action."

As the party reaches the factory, Dia quickly takes cover behind a degraded piece of barrier. "So, what's our plan of attack going to be?"

[member="James Justice"]
[member="Niyla Alura"]

Stardust nodded and followed James keeping her blaster and blades ready to strike at a moments notice

I agree with her what's the plan, we go in sneaky or we going guns blazing"she said and chuckled out"oh by the way ma'am I'm stardust

Objective: Shadow James, save his silly arse if needed.

James' near-ever-present shadow emerged, shortly after his Force signature would, from the brush near where the trio presently lurked. The masked padawan made no noise on his arrival, giving his customary bow at his neck to [member="stardust"], before casting a cursory glance at the other twi'lek, then golden eyes moved to the Captain.

"I took the liberty of scouting ahead..." His superior hearing accounted for him overhearing James' conversation about the bandits; and naturally heightened reflexes and agility, enhanced further by the Force, made recon a cinch, allowing him to easily get here well ahead his compatriots. "The guards are spread out enough that one can never see more than one other to either his right or his left. They seem on edge, relatively poorly trained. It shouldn't be too difficult to distract one at a time, luring them away to aid in a stealthy entry if you desire it from this side."

There was a pause, and unspoken 'but' in there. The padawan looked past James towards the structure. "Are we planning on apprehension.... Or extermination....?" The padawan had grown weary of the killing. It had become thematic of his life of late. He didn't want to associate that fact with his friendship with James, but the facts do not lie. But loyal to a fault, the padawan would support his best friend, however he was needed.

Ashalah had accompanied [member="James Justice"] and the others on their quest to rescue the women. She stood with James, eyeing @Ryn/'Dhal as he spoke. Of course, with her visor, he wouldn't be able to tell. If she found a good vantage point, she could easily snipe the guards before any of her comrades engaged in combat. Or she could attack with the rest. The call was up to James to make

James heard all the affirmatives and the people looking to him. He nodded thankfully to Ryn and pressed his lips together. Part of him, the compassionate side, said to be gentle to have mercy and capture the kidnappers. He bowed his head, it was no simple thing carrying the hopes and leadership of so many.

But the deeper truth roaored out. James was a compassionate man, he was a gentleman and he was a kind man. But he was also a powerful one. He was a man of conviction a man of prowess and beliefs even though at first blush it appeared otherwise. His primary belief? Never capture and treat women cruelly.

"Show no mercy," he growled. "Get the women back, kill all the captors."

James sprinted ahead, covering the distance between him and the first guard in a matter of seconds. When he turned around to see James's fist slammed across his jaw. The kidnappers neck and jaw snapped under the weight of James's blow.

Charging forward into the open the spacer shouted out with a mighty roar a blood thirty call for vindication that harkened back to the primeval states of the living.

Amidst all the chaos Niyla was a little taken back, though she was all in for cracking some jerks heads she really wasn't paying attention, her attention was mostly focused on the people grabbing the food, the rest on who knows where.

So when JAmes started speaking up about the captured young women Niyla responded quite well, she looked up and nodded to him. Not trying to make eye contact with these others, they didn't seem like anyone she knew. She tried to figure out everything she missed as he started running off, crying out loudly.

The 21 year old woman was about ready to do the same. These town folk had flustered her with their grabby ways.

Niyla didn't know if she was told to accompany him, and while she would have liked to, for now she would hold her post.

That is until a small group of guards came over to her and told Niyla that she was relieved of her duty, to which she responded with a delighted sigh and jumped on to the save the day train.

The girl adorned herself in her usual attire, a black shirt with fish net leggings. Though while she normally knew she looked fierce it was cold outside and Niyla could feel the shivering chill coming upon her. Still though, no cold would stop her from beating up karkheads, afterall it was her favorite activity.

Stradust nodded to [member="Dia Torr"] "then come let us fight" she said as James ran and punched one guard she charges and roared sabers activated and sliced two in half, for her this was simple training....a snake in a nice den.....a hawk against a pigeon.... And nothing would stop till the enemies numbers reach none"

Come comrades destroy these people"she yelled and started slicing again as she reach the door and pulled it off with the force

At the call of battle, Ashalah did not charge forward like everyone else. Instead, she stayed behind, providing cover fire. Within minutes, most of the guards were taken care of. Grinning, Ash moved forward. Any kidnapper that still moved, she blasted in the head with her pistols. When a Twi'lek ripped the door of its hinges with the Force, Ash moved forward, towards the darkness of the warehouse. From inside came blaster fire, shooting out towards the rescuers. Ash immediately went sideways, using the wall for cover.

@Ryn/'Dhal

Mercy still cried in Ryn's mind as he rushed forth. He had skirted about the building as James gave his order, and was noiselessly in place even before James' first step was taken. As the captain roared, Ryn took the distraction of his targets as an opening. He closed the gap an in a blurred rush, placing his empty, gloved palms against the middle most guards abdomen. "Sorry...." He muttered, as the Force welled up within him, and rushed like so much water through a broken dam down his arms and out his hands. The Force slammed into the man, and carried him what would have been easily twenty to thirty meters.... Had there not been a solid structure less than 5 meters away. A sickening crunch caused consciousness to swiftly depart from the guard.

As the body slumped, the other two guards, one left, the other right, began to react, raising their rifles to bear. Too little. Too late. Gloved hands were sent out, one in each direction of the two guards. Closing his fingers, gripping the air, he willed the Force to do the same around the guards. Once they seized up, suggesting his desired effect had occurred, Ryn threw both hands across his person. As if seeking to hug himself. This caused the two guards to propel through the air towards Ryn at an alarming rate.

A quick leap, and a sick, satisfying crunch, would yield Ryn'Dhal landing lightly upon the two unconscious forms of the guards. They wouldn't be moving anytime soon. Not before Ryn could get back to them after their mission was over. He approached the lone door on his side of the building, confident that almost all the bandit's attentions were on his allies. The masked padawan was ready for his little stealth operation to get into full swing.

As the rest of the party rushes into the facility, Dia hangs back a bit to provide rear cover in case of reinforcements. Her attention is divided between blasting those falling through the cracks of the forward defense and checking the back. A bandit comes running in from outside only to meet Dia's bolts.

"How many of these guys are there?"

She as the blaster bolts flew blocked and redirected them hitting a few as she pushed slowly inside...her HUD marking a few tied up women"I got civies make too priority to evac them immediately

With that she got behind cover and pulled he rblaster.psitol out during at a few bandits and letting them fall....boy she was enjoying this to much

[member="James Justice"] [member="Dia Torr"] @ashalah kayl

With blaster shots flying left and write, poorly aimed mind that, Niyla wasn't worried about biting it. These bandits were amatures to the kind of scum she went up against. So much so Niyla didn't even bother with unsheathing her amphistaff, she just punched a few to submission. Which, to be honest felt really good.

As the girl punched and kicked her way through the barracks or camp, whatever this place was, she heard a faint cry and scream coming from the end of the hallway she was in. Quickly she felt a man running from behind. Niyla whipped around and laid her heavy fist upon his gut. To which he leaned over and barfed it. "Yuck..." Niyla muttered and kicked him again, knocking the man onto the ground weeping.

She then looked away, eyeing the door from which she heard the cries.
