THE JEDI SHADOWS
Who we are?The Jedi Shadows date back to the times of the Great Hyperspace War, when the Republic and the Sith Empire clashed. Jedi Shadows were a sub-class of sentinels who were dedicated to the eradication of the Sith and all their teachings. This often took the form of hunting down and destroying Sith artifacts such as talismans, holocrons, and other artifacts tainted by the darkside. It could also take on the form of hunting down and destroying any remaining Sith. Historically, they were often trained in the use of a double bladed lightsaber, but this was a matter of personal preference and not a requirement.
Jedi Shadows on Chaos can vary significantly, with some focusing on the traditional role of hunting down and destroying the Sith and their artifacts, and others focusing on serving as the intelligence branch of the various Jedi Orders. However you'd like to play a Jedi Shadow, you have a home here. This faction is not meant to stand alone, but is rather a place for the Jedi Shadows of the various Jedi Orders (e.g., The Green Jedi, The Silver Jedi) to congregate and plan RP content.
Who are we looking for?
Are you a Jedi who would rather approach an enemy in stealth and secrecy rather than attack them straight on? Are you a Jedi who wants to go into seedy places and gather important intelligence in the service of the galaxy? Are you a Jedi dedicated to the light who wants to hunt down and destroy Sith? Than this is absolutely the place for you! Jedi Padawan, Knight, or Masters - all are welcome!
Are you a non-force user and unhappy with the idea that this will be a Jedi only faction? Don't be!!! You're more than welcome as well. Intelligence operatives would make excellent allies to a Jedi Shadow on a mission. If you feel you have a non-force using character that could add to Jedi Shadow storyline - more power to you! Glad to have you aboard.
Where to go and what we want to do?
The faction page can be located here. If you feel like this would be a good fit for you, please join. Ultimately this faction will be about driving RP content relevant to the Jedi Shadows. To that end, we would want to drive good story with cooperating antagonist. A good example of the type of storyline is in the ongoing thread, The Fall of Ciomia, in which a number of Jedi Shadows are seeking out a missing Jedi Shadow. In time, as our numbers swell, we can lay out other story arcs involving darkside factions and recurring foes....because what is a hero without a good villain!!
