Today, what remains of the Jedi in the Galaxy can no longer be described as the symbol of unity and peace that it once represented. While many call themselves Jedi, order is no longer the common goal among them, instead the governance, militant aspirations and strategic targeting of peoples that differ from their beliefs and way of life, has marred the ideals that were once considered virtuous. No longer are the Jedi trusted and sought after for their aid but for their allegience to the higher powers that reside over every corner of society.
Somewhere along the way, between the rise of the Sith Empire, the fall of the Galactic Republic and the return of Imperialist decree taking the reigns over power and control across the galaxy, the Jedi had lost their identity, succumbed to bias of one another and consumed within their own justifications for prejudices towards those whom challenged them; The people had lost their bastion of hope.
Yet as the Force works in ways most misunderstood to even those most educated of Practitioners, Balance presides over all. The rising presence of the Darkside of the Force and the convergence of the followers of the Sith and their most aggressive ways of bringing conflict down upon others has blinded many from noticing the return of the faithful within the Expansion Regions.
Chaos, Yet Harmony:
The Reformation of the Jedi Order has begun.
Conflict spans the Galaxy as factions of Government seek to dominate one another in the pursuit of conquest across the vast regions of space. Peril has gripped society, fear of war reaching the homes and hearts of all while behind the veil the Sith Empire has regained its strength and seeks once more to regain control and absolute authority over all.
Reverting back to their more ancient traditions, the Jedi Order exists to serve the greater good, focusing on maintaining peace and offering selfless service to those citizens of the Galaxy affected by war and conflict. Opposed to the more militant direction that many Jedi have taken, the Order serves through peaceful means, only ever raising a weapon in defense, and never to attack. Their role is that of the mediator, the healer, the peacekeeper: living in accordance with the traditional values the Jedi have always sought to maintain.
The hour is late and those earnest to learn outnumber those with the morality that once contributed to the Jedi Knights path and legend. From all walks of life, many have felt the calling of the Force, seeking to understand it; coming to share in the new movement, the return of the light to the people who have for so long been shrouded in darkness.
Where will your path in life lead you? Will you stand by as the galaxy continues to spiral into Chaos or does the Force call you to something greater, beyond the desires of self to recognize a need those with the courage to stand in the face of adversity, acting by the integrity of the Order so that others may benefit from your dedication to the Jedi Path.
Faction Goals:
Our Objective and Narrative towards all Jedi across the Board.
Across SWRP: Chaos there are numerous perspectives of what a good Jedi is and such is one of the splendors of Role-playing across this board, that all are free to explore their characters beyond the typical canon we've been delivered whether EU, Lucas or Disney. The objective of this Faction however is to offer players a returned focus upon training their Jedi in the more traditional virtues and ideals that have been portrayed across the movie franchise, both the prequels and moving into the later expansive canon that we all know as the EU where Luke Skywalker brought in the New Jedi Academy upon Yavin IV.Given this vast jump across the timeline and the differences these Jedi portrayed it's only natural that we seek to find a mutual ground in which to blend the two yet upon Chaos the over all theme is to bring service to the galaxy and to represent the Jedi Order not as warriors to focus in battle but as the more monastic setting of the Order, prioritizing training and integrity in the ways they seek to bring aid to others and better the lives of society, hoping never to take one but to hold faith in the will of the force and follow in the path of the light.
Looking to the rest of the Galaxy and specifically those of the Jedi around us, we hope to work together to offer all a united front of which the Jedi Order may once again come together as one and restore balance within the Force. With the resurgence of the Sith the Darkside has a powerful grip over the four corners of the galactic map and billions of people call out in need of protection, seeking peace and guardianship against those that would oppress and take from the innocent. Though our methods and beliefs may differ, to all other Jedi we stand welcoming any support you may give. As we are all Jedi of many different backgrounds and histories, compassion and understanding of one another is something we sorely need to close the gap that has distanced us so.

We are on the lookout for capable mentors whether they be Jedi Knights or Masters, our students require the guidance of a gifted Jedi to inspire and encourage them down the path of the light to one day serve in knighthood themselves. To all those who walk the Jedi Path, you may well find the calling you are looking for here with us. In this new age our leaders are few yet those with hidden potential in the force continue to come to us, heeding the will of the Force to serve something far beyond their own.As Grandmaster to this new movement, I seek to one day soon establish a new Jedi Council of which will reside over this Order for the benefit of all of our pupils experienced and otherwise. Before that day may come, I will be looking to those who show the fortitude and integrity, the wisdom and the courage to stand at the forefront of the Jedi Order to do what is right and just in a galaxy enveloped within Chaos and Greed.
To all who believe in the pursuit of peace and hold a mutual respect for all lives; those who want to strive for the good of others while serving to honor the force and represent the Order as it was once, long ago.
