What is the Iron Navy?
The Iron Imperial Navy, also known as the Iron Imperial Fleet, is the space warfare branch of the Iron Imperial Military. It was among the first branches created, following the Iron Empire's inception. Initially, the bulk of the Navy was comprised of former-One Sith personnel, and ships. Defectors, who had followed their Military Executor into exile. However, following the liberation of such entities as the Chiss Ascendancy, and Republic of Mayferria, the Iron Imperial Navy welcomed them among their ranks.
What are their duties?
In essence, the Iron Imperial Navy acts as the shield which protects the Iron Realm. Their mighty ships patrol the borders, defend vital trade-routes between planets, and bolster planetary governments in times of crisis. They do so, to protect the Iron Empire's worlds, from the threats beyond.
What is their rank structure?
The Iron Imperial Navy employs a four tier rank system, in which the maximum command is capped at the highest rank they have.

Vassals of the Iron Empire
The Chiss Ascendancy
The Chiss Ascendancy, largest of the Iron Imperial vassals, joined the Iron Empire following the One Sith's attempted genocide of the planet Csilla. The Republican oligarchy supplies the bulk of the vassal-contribution to the Iron Imperial Navy. Currently, it is estimated that one-in-eight Iron Imperial ships, hail from the Chiss Ascendancy. Additionally, the largest of the Chiss Ascendancy's shipyards, the Copero Shipyard, aids the Iron Empire in the manufacture of new, and powerful, warships.
The Republic of Mayferria
The Republic of Mayferria, smallest of the Iron Imperial vassals, joined the Iron Empire following the planets liberation from the One Sith-remnant forces. The small Republic, unable to field a large fleet, contributes but only a handful of vessels to the Iron Imperial Navy.

Q: This sounds cool, but fleeting is pretty confusing.
A: The Iron Empire is primarily a PVE faction. As such, the fleeting we do is low-stakes/low-stress. It's very much treated as a learning experience, for us all.
Q: What's the highest rank I can start with?
A: The highest rank we allow a new member to start at is Commander.
Q: What else does the Iron Imperial Navy offer?
A: The Iron Empire's graphics workshop has expanded to include offering fleet/squadron rank bars, and ship recoloring.
