The Imperial Inquisitorius is the Empire's clandestine Force-hunting order, operating as a black-level arm of Imperial Intelligence under the strategic framework of the Tarkin Initiative. While administratively embedded within Imperial Intelligence, the Inquisitorius ultimately serves the Throne directly. Their mandate overrides all Intelligence divisions, sector authorities, and military commands when invoked in the name of Imperial security.

They are neither Sith nor Jedi, they are instruments of control, designed to ensure that no Force-user exists outside Imperial dominion.

Primary Objectives

• Hunt and eliminate Jedi
• Hunt and eliminate Sith, Dark Acolytes, and unsanctioned dark-side cults
• Suppress Force-based insurgencies and religious movements
• Recover, catalogue, or destroy Force artifacts and forbidden lore
• Conduct high-profile interrogations on behalf of Imperial Intelligence and the Throne

No Force tradition is exempt.

Any Force-user not explicitly sanctioned by the Emperor is considered a liability.

Interrogation & Indoctrination Authority

The Inquisitorius functions as Imperial Intelligence's ultimate coercive instrument.

Inquisitors are authorized to:

• Lead strategic interrogations of high-value Force-sensitive detainees
• Apply psychological, physical, and Force-based extraction techniques
• Publicly break high-profile prisoners to serve as deterrence
• Privately evaluate Force-users for potential induction

Useful Individuals may be:

• Broken and reconditioned into Inquisitor Initiates
• Bound into service through fear, implants, or Force conditioning
• Assigned handler-Inquisitors for long-term control

Those deemed unsuitable are eliminated.

Doctrine & Philosophy

The Inquisitorius does not seek balance - it enforces monopoly. The Force is not sacred, the Force is not free.

The Force is Imperial property.

Inquisitors are encouraged to compete, test one another, and cull weakness. Advancement is earned through results, not loyalty. Survival is doctrine.

INQUISITOR RANKS

Inquisitors abandon personal names upon induction, adopting numerical and hierarchical designations to sever identity and enforce obedience.

• Inquisitor Initiate:
  Broken Force-sensitives under evaluation or early training. Most do not survive this stage.
  
  
• Inquisitor:
  A fully inducted hunter of the Inquisitorius, operating independently or in small cells.
  (Examples: Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister, Tenth Brother)
  
  
• Senior Inquisitor:
  Veteran operatives entrusted with:
  • Sector-wide hunts
  • Oversight of Initiates
  • Strategic interrogations
  • Command authority over multiple Purge units
  
  
• Grand Inquisitor:
  Supreme commander of the Inquisitorius. Oversees doctrine, training, indoctrination policy, and strategic coordination with Imperial Intelligence, while answering directly to the Throne.

PURGE TROOPERS

The Purge Troopers are elite stormtroopers permanently assigned to the Inquisitorius. They are indoctrinated under Intelligence-grade protocols and trained specifically for combat against Force-users.

They serve as:

• Shock troops
• Containment units
• Tracking and pursuit specialists
• Living shields during lightsaber engagements

Purge Trooper Rank Structure

Purge Troopers begin service at Commander rank, reflecting the danger and specialization of their role. Promotion follows Stormtrooper hierarchy based on service within the Inquisitorius, not standard Army tenure.

Command Relationship

• Inquisitors hold absolute authority over Purge Troopers
• Purge Troopers may not refuse an Inquisitor's order
• Inquisitors are not obligated to preserve Purge Trooper lives
• Exceptional Purge Troopers may be promoted, reassigned - or erased
