Private The Importance of Healing

It had been a rough couple of years, she hadn't really found herself a stable life, keeping on the go since she heard about Allyson's engagement to Taiia. Part of her knew that she had to be brave and put on a smile, congratulate them and wish them all the best but another part hated everything and just wanted to curl up and die. It seemed that everyone's life was moving on, her sister was doing well on Eshan, her niece was excelling in her school and her mother was steadily improving but here was Kat, single, alone and roaming the galaxy lost. The same thing that happened for many, many years. She sighed as she braided her white hair slowly, the thoughts were like a darkness that clouded her judgements, drained her motivations and stifled her creativity. Her only solution was to drink and just keep to casual relationships where she never felt a connection. Connections were dangerous and she knew right now that relationships would just spell trouble.

Her light blouse didn't hide her curves, decent v-neck, her leather jacket was studded with metal spikes and was form fitting. Her trousers were tight and lacked practical pockets, her braids were down to her lower back now and she sighed, her look was complete but the dark voice in her head was questioning the reasons for putting in so much effort for another rubbish day. Kat tried to block out the voices and she stepped outside. Her travels brought her to Ossus, she had heard about another Jedi faction was setting up on the planet and she thought about the chance to come here and explore what was on offer and see if she could possibly get along with the people here. Too many times a Jedi faction has popped up and its sole focus being the destruction of the Sith, which often meant leaving a wake of dead of both Sith and innocent civilians. The idea of doing harm like that again, it was terrifying and Kat was deciding that she didn't want to fight that way anymore. Being aggressive and forcing her way on people, it wasn't helping the galaxy, war wasn't improving people's lives.

Wandering into the building, Kat looked around, her eyes scanning the temple. She didn't get a good look when she arrived the previous night, she had decided to just head straight to a bar and drink the night away but she was here now and looking at the temple. It was always nice to see a Jedi temple and to see it populated with people was even nicer. Moving around she was curious if anyone would be interested in learning some skills in healing, it was where Kat specialised her Force powers over the past decade or so and she was aiming to be one of the best Force Healers out there. She posted an advert about a free training session on Force Heal for those interested and wandered around, pretty aimless and unsure of where to go in terms of training rooms.
