Imperial Military
High Command
- Commander in Chief: The Imperial Crown, Emperor Vedarric Pallopides and Kista Fel
- Supreme Commander: Answerable only to the Imperial Crown the Supreme Commander is the highest military authority. This title and rank puts the Imperial Battle Groups under this persons command and authority. The Supreme Commander may also hold the title of Moff. The Supreme Commander has the primary responsibility of prosecuting the joint grand strategy of war against any hostile nations.
- The Council of Moffs: A Moff is an individual who has proven to be capable of utilizing elements drawn from each of these respective branches to ensure the safety and protection of their respective regions of space. A Moff is always a flag officer whom has ceded their authority for greater responsibilities. The Council of Moffs act as the policy makers and are tasked with the economic upkeep of the respective branches.
Branches
Imperial Navy
- Description: The Imperial Navy also referred to as Imperial Starfleet. Specific responsibilities of the Imperial Navy include defending Imperial citizens from space-based threats such as pirates, smugglers and rebel contingents, enforcing Imperial Will, and overseeing commerce through customs and blockade operations. The Imperial Navy also performs orbital bombardments, transports major ground force deployments and supports them with space and aerial support.
- Description: Formed around the original storm trooper corps the Imperial Storm Legion is the latest iteration of the old tried and true organization. Equipped with the very best weaponry and extensive specialized training doctrines the Imperial Storm Legions are a force to be reckoned with. The Imperial Storm Trooper is trained to be an elite warrior capable of fighting in multiple environments at a moment’s notice. For this reason the Storm Legion is focused around a combined arms expeditionary principle.
Imperial Army
- Description: The Imperial Army has the primary responsibility in the prosecution of ground-side military operations. Operating in conjunction with Imperial Starfleet, Storm Legions, and local system defense forces the Imperial Army acts a conventional juggernaut when carrying out military operations. The Army is only tasked with the primary duty of garrisoning Imperial Military Facilities.
Intelligence & Security Bureau
- Description: The ISB has the primary responsibility of providing espionage abroad and counter-intelligence within the Imperial Remnant. This branch is under the direct leadership of the Imperial Crown whom all reports go to first before they disseminate down to those below. Within this branch there are two special ranks that carry additional authority. The First is a Bureau Chief who oversees one of the subdivisions of the ISB. The other is the title Agent of the Crown which is entrusted to an individual who has proven to be exceptional in carrying out the will of the Emperor and Empress. All Agents in this branch are officers seconded from the Navy, Army, or Storm Legions. Upon being selected by a Bureau Chief or Agent of the Crown to become an Imperial Agent the respective chain of command is contacted to relieve that individual from their command and shift them into a new position. All Officers in each branch are eligible to become an imperial agent or receive specialized training. Storm Troopers from the Imperial Storm Legions are most likely seconded into the Storm Commando subdivision headed by a Bureau Chief who is always an officer from the Storm Legions.
Imperial Academic System
- Description: The IAS has the primary responsibility of turning recruits into able body members of the Imperial Military. First and foremost every new member o f Imperial society is put through a standard indoctrination recruit training program or “boot camp”. No matter the race, no matter the gender, all are provided the same equal and basic training. During basic training a series of tests are made periodically. Each test will gauge the recruits and prior to graduation the recruits are provided a choice between the Imperial Navy and the Imperial Army, with a recommendation from the Detailer on where they would perform best. If they meet certain physical requirements then a recruit is eligible to join the Storm Legions. Once a branch has been chosen the recruit goes on to attend the basic training course of that respective branch and will further specialize in time. The IAS is overseen by a Moff. All Imperial Officers are expected to at some point in their careers become an Instructor at an IAS Facility and impart their own knowledge and experience on the new recruits.
- Description: The I R&D is in essence a joint cooperative effort between Imperial officers of each branch and the Council of Moffs in ensuring that the Imperial war machine is always at its peak by acquiring and developing new weapons, warships, technologies, and battle stations for the Imperial Military. A major component of this branch is working with joint ventures of nationalized companies and non-nationalized companies or allied companies. For this reason Imperial Officers who work under the R&D Branch will find themselves working alongside Civilians. The Following Companies contribute to this branch: Regent Industries (State Owned Company); Flavian Star Corporation (A Semi Nationalized agriculture Company); Crina Royal Industries (A Crinan State Owned Company); Tanlab Industries (A Non-Nationalized Company);
