OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create the faceless executioners of the Ministry of Laws and Justice
  • Role: Executioners
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Imbams
  • Affiliation: Sith Empire
  • Classification: Elite Police Force
  • Description: The Imbams, or Executioner in High Sith, are the faceless hunters and executioners of the Ministry of Laws and Justice. Imbams are created using the same methods used to create the Imperial Sentinels from Palpatine's era. Their mental capabilities were stunted during the gestation period and throughout their growth cycle they were altered by Sith alchemy, linking them to the Adjudicator. As a result of this, should there ever be a new Adjudicator named, the current Imbams would be killed immediately as new ones were made. To better improve upon the Sentinels blueprint, the Imbams were also enhanced with cybernetics, making them much stronger and faster than your standard human.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function: In combat, the Imbams wield their masterwork swords with deadly precision. They were not meant for true warfare, but are capable of handling their own in a fight. With their extensive cybernetic and Sith alchemised enhancements, the Imbams are a force to be reckoned with. They were made to hunt down and detain the most dangerous of criminals in the Sith Empire and bring them to justice, by any means necessary.
Strengths:
  • Impeccable speed and strength
  • Superior equipment
Weaknesses:
  • Unable to act without direction
  • Irreplaceable without new Grand Adjudicator
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Imbams are a recent creation of the Sith Empire. The first Grand Adjudicator, Zahori Denko, had them created utilizing the same template that was once used to create the Imperial Sentinels. In order to improve upon this template, Zahori employed the use of cybernetics as well. Zahori made it mandated that with each new Grand Adjudicator, there shall be a new batch of Imbams created as well, as each batch will be attuned to the Grand Adjudicator and their will.

A scary bunch! I like the picture and the concept. Just a few notes before approval.

  • Under Weaknesses, please clarify what you mean by "mindless". Are they literally brainless, and have to be remote controlled by the Adjudicator? Or are they just very limited in their thinking capacity, needing a minder like the Adepts guiding Imperial Sentinels? It seems like that would be a big problem if they are supposed to be able to not just fight, but actively hunt down criminals. Criminals are pretty good at making clever escapes and finding places to hide. The Imperial Sentinels could get by with having their higher thought suppressed because all they did was stand guard, but that might not work as well for this particular concept.

  • Under Weaknesses, please also clarify a bit more about why "replenishment" is a weakness. Does it take a long time to make more? Is it expensive? Does it require rare and limited alchemical components?

  • This is optional, but expanding a little bit on their specific capabilities under Strengths would also help other writers know what to expect from them and how to gauge their relative power level.

Let me know if you have any questions!

- Mindless meaning pretty much what you said. They are unable to make decisions on their own. They still have their basic functions. Like, if they're told to hunt down a criminal, they will do it by any means. They just won't until they're told to.

- As far as replenishment, there's only a set few at a time. New ones aren't made unless there's a new Grand Adjudicator. So, if the current one runs out, they won't get anymore because of the extensive and expensive process required to make Imbams.
