The Hutt's Mission

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
With the explosions going off, Blonde willed a little extra power into her bracelets to ensure the TK barrier could take the hit. Once debris and flames spewed over it the woman let out another sigh and stepped through the smoke and fading fire. It seemed this bounty hunter had himself a death wish, which was fine by her. She'd killed plenty of bounty hunters in her time, this one wasn't anything special.

But there were a few other things she needed to address. Such as the two soon to be love birds Lokthra and Lucien, they were pretty close to the exit when the bombs went off and in all likelihood they were either dead or at least wishing it right about now. So summoning what decency and humanity she had left in her cold heart, the woman would call out to the two not really caring if they were dead or alive. Or at least she hoped the commando was alive, he was useful at the end of the day.

"If you're still alive, try not to move. I'll send someone for you." Blonde said as she lifted up the data logger on her wrist.

Going to work she did a few things. The first of course was keeping the palace intact. The Hutt's old palace was huge and as grandiose as it could get, a few thermal detonators weren't going to take down its reinforced structure. Would it cost a lot in repairs to cosmetics? Yes. But that was a drop in the bucket compared to the Syndicate's wealth, no matter how annoying said drop might be. So in order to secure the palace she pressed a few buttons and the dual shielding would activate. Ray and particle based shields would wrap themselves around the palace and they would hold and protect the palace and the innocent people Blonde had taken captive inside.

Then there would be the second step. The bounty hunter had made a very large mistake. This planet was predominately controlled by the Black Tie Syndicate as the major player on the scene, and what was worse was that Miss Blonde was there today. And where Blonde went, the Black Tie Fleet followed.

From above the young man's ship long black shadows would loom down casting shade where the ship flew. Four hammer head cruisers would be descending from orbit along with quite a few swarm fighters, the man was outgunned, out matched, out numbered, and most importantly he was attacking them single handedly on their own turf. The battle was how most people would say, completely unwinable. So Blonde would pull up her comm and send an open message out to the bounty hunter.

"You've got spirit. I like that. Tell you what, I'll make you an offer. Whatever it is your employer is paying you to throw your life away, I'll double it. A suicidal maniac with no regard for their own life might be handy. It's either that or we keep this up." Blonde was a business woman at the end of the day.

"I don't care about my life, Just credits and killing. I'm landing back at the palace." He said.

He turned his ship around passing the fighters and going close to the hammerheads. Red Alert beeped.

"Yes we're going back. The Black Tie Syndicate looks very...convincing." He said.

Kane wasn't normal. He watched his family die in horrible ways in front of him. The smell of burnt hair and skin, The bodies covered in burns, The bones and limbs freshly ripped out. He changed from the warrior with courage to the Bounty Hunter with a death wish. He remembered seeing the group who slaughtered his family. He remembered picking up his weapon and killing every single one of them. He remembered the faces, The voices and the screams. Kane landed his ship near the palace and walked into the throne room.

"Nice to see you again."

The Throne Room. Located in the back of the grand hall, Miss Blonde had removed the large Hutt sized throne and replaced it with something more modest and practical. A simple yet lavish natural wood desk, and behind it a comfy chair. Real leaders didn't run an empire from a throne, they did it from a desk. And behind said desk hanging from the wall was a large portrait of a man the bounty hunter had probably never heard of. But that didn't matter, what mattered was business. Miss Blonde herself was sitting at her desk and typing away at a few different things when the man came in and spoke to her.

"Sit." He left hand raised up and motioned to the guest chair in front of the desk.

On her holonet computer, Miss Blonde was filing damage reports and filing for contractors to come and repair the palace. She had to handle the cost of this little attack and pull funds from various accounts in order to pay workers. She didn't say much at first, her bracelet was still powering up a TK shield around her in case the man had any more funny ideas, however she had faith that he wasn't stupid enough to try something while she was within close distance with him. That was prime soul sucking distance.

But she also would keep her word and a few medical droids would make their way towards Lucien and Lokthra to see if they were ok and treat any wounds they might have. Now with all that finished up, the woman looked over to the bounty hunter and spoke.

"I don't care about your back story, I don't care who you are, or where you come from, I don't care whether you live or die, your existence to me only amounts to whether you are profit or loss. Whether you are useful or useless. Currently you seem to have gumption, I admire that. I like to pride myself for having an eye for talent." Blonde said with a very cold yet professional tone.

"But right now. All this." She motioned to the roughed up palace around them.

"It's amateur at best. Mediocre even. But with a very large quantity and quality of bounties I have coming up, I have use for you. With my financial backing and equipment I'm offering you a chance to go pro. Now I warn you, cross me and I won't just kill you. I'll kill your friends, your family, your pets, I'll even salt the flowers in your garden. Now you need to ask yourself if you're ready to go pro." Blonde would get her point across and then continue to keep typing away at her holonet computer.

"Now how much am I paying you to retain your services?" Blonde asked.

"I'm Ready." He said.

Kane was ready as soon as she said it. He only had Equipment he stole during his days as a Mandalorian warrior. The rival clan he wiped out had weapons much more advanced than his clan. He broke out from his memory then turned to look at Miss Blonde.

"My price depends on the job, My friend." He said.
