Miss Blonde
Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
With the explosions going off, Blonde willed a little extra power into her bracelets to ensure the TK barrier could take the hit. Once debris and flames spewed over it the woman let out another sigh and stepped through the smoke and fading fire. It seemed this bounty hunter had himself a death wish, which was fine by her. She'd killed plenty of bounty hunters in her time, this one wasn't anything special.
But there were a few other things she needed to address. Such as the two soon to be love birds Lokthra and Lucien, they were pretty close to the exit when the bombs went off and in all likelihood they were either dead or at least wishing it right about now. So summoning what decency and humanity she had left in her cold heart, the woman would call out to the two not really caring if they were dead or alive. Or at least she hoped the commando was alive, he was useful at the end of the day.
"If you're still alive, try not to move. I'll send someone for you." Blonde said as she lifted up the data logger on her wrist.
Going to work she did a few things. The first of course was keeping the palace intact. The Hutt's old palace was huge and as grandiose as it could get, a few thermal detonators weren't going to take down its reinforced structure. Would it cost a lot in repairs to cosmetics? Yes. But that was a drop in the bucket compared to the Syndicate's wealth, no matter how annoying said drop might be. So in order to secure the palace she pressed a few buttons and the dual shielding would activate. Ray and particle based shields would wrap themselves around the palace and they would hold and protect the palace and the innocent people Blonde had taken captive inside.
Then there would be the second step. The bounty hunter had made a very large mistake. This planet was predominately controlled by the Black Tie Syndicate as the major player on the scene, and what was worse was that Miss Blonde was there today. And where Blonde went, the Black Tie Fleet followed.
From above the young man's ship long black shadows would loom down casting shade where the ship flew. Four hammer head cruisers would be descending from orbit along with quite a few swarm fighters, the man was outgunned, out matched, out numbered, and most importantly he was attacking them single handedly on their own turf. The battle was how most people would say, completely unwinable. So Blonde would pull up her comm and send an open message out to the bounty hunter.
"You've got spirit. I like that. Tell you what, I'll make you an offer. Whatever it is your employer is paying you to throw your life away, I'll double it. A suicidal maniac with no regard for their own life might be handy. It's either that or we keep this up." Blonde was a business woman at the end of the day.
