Private The Hunt begins!

First Brother's efforts in helping expand the borders of the New Imperial Order were vastly growing, but for him, there was much left to be desired. He longed to hone his skills as one of the first Imperial Inquisitor's among the New Order. Now he had been scouring the galaxy looking for worthy targets either to be broken and turned into an Inquisitor like him. Or to be hunted down like rabble and be another life taken by his blade. For weeks now he scoured the galaxy for growing reports of who he might find, finding targets from the Sith Empire to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The CIS was nothing more than a sham of what it once was. Beings that had little to do perhaps one would think it was made of children rather than leaders who knew what they were doing. Perhaps when the Sith were dealt with they would be next to witness the awesome might of the true empire that was the New Order.

Regardless today's hunt had brought him to their neck of the Woods. A backwater planet of which even he had a hard time keeping up with the name. Only hearing reports of a girl with a yellow bladed lightsaber. His spies did their job well, and now it had confirmed his suspicions. Who he was hunting was possibly a Jedi. Perhaps a Padawan? He didn't know the specifics all he did know was that he felt an immense amount of excitement in hunting down his quarry. That he could so breathlessly wait to begin the hunt. Where she was located was said to be a small village of sorts surrounded by flora and fauna around her. Perhaps the fight would be simple and easy. Perhaps it would prove to not be a challenge for he was equipped to hunt down both Jedi and Sith.

Getting on his speeder bike, his saber equipped to the back of his Inquisitor Armor. He eagerly moved along the ridge to where he could feel a tremor in the Force. His prey was close, and soon she would be greeted with his own blade. If anything he wanted to break her first, watch her crack as he did before making another Inquisitor. One that would serve the same ideals that Vader and Palpatine had so very long ago. In the meantime, after some distance, the speeder came to a stop in the middle of a tall grassy field. Stepping out, he could feel that she was close. Was she here perhaps? If so this would be all too easy for the young Inquisitor.

"Come out girl! I know you are here show yourself!" He said in a mixture of anger, and a hint of arrogance the painful apparatus stuck to his face only added to his rising temper. Moving through the grass he was eager to get things started.

The day was about half way through its day cycle, and Xevnlie was simply meditating. Her lightsaber was resting at her side as her mind expanded across the fields of her new home. She had trained for the last 3 days with her lightsaber and was sure her skills were up to par. A slight vibration in the Force caught her mind though. Hearing a roar a short distance away from her, she opened her eyes. The area around her was pretty bare with only 1 tall tree nearby. Standing up tall, she looked around at her surroundings. She had taken her mask with her, a blackened mask that went across her eyes, to her ears and (when needed to) across the mouth. Her eye pieces were a dark grey with some dark chrome strips over differing sections. Her lightsaber was a matching dark chrome with golden bands and black highlights. She could feel the force calling to her from this being who disturbed the piece.

She waited and waited for the person to appear, her hand ready to snatch her weapon at a moments notice. Her dark crimson and bronze slime robes flashed minutely in the sun light. Her mind was poised as she awaited whatever came her way.

First Brother, looked around moving through the field his hand grasped tightly to his saber. Looking around he focused on her Force Signature. Feeling the repulsive light side aura he waited for the being to strike. This was ultimately a test of himself as an Inquisitor, if he was worthy to hunt down Jedi. While helping to expand the growing borders of the NIO he had tested his metal time and time again. He waited as he wandered wondering if he would end up in the line of sight of his adversary. Even he didn't know, breathlessly waiting with anticipation he was certain that his skills would be enough. He even had been slowly learning to adopt more offensive tactics rather than to fight like a Jedi.

He stood for a moment, waiting. Time seems to be at a standstill. His lightsaber clung closely to the grasp of his fingers. Looking all around him, he sensed the girl was here. He even knew that one thing was certain. A padawan would be no match for him, if he could suffer the horrors of the Sith, then he was fairly certain that he would be able to take on the girl. For now he eagerly waited, waiting for her to see if she would be bold enough to make the first move to strike him. If not he would draw the Jedi out one way or another.

Still sensing the cold air that came from the dark side wash over her, she was certain that his new adversary was close. Taking a deep breath, she called out, "Who's there?" She waited for someone to answer before calling out, "I can sense the stench of the Dark Side of you." Xevnlie hated how the Dark Side felt for her. She had never wanted or desired to feel the icy chill along her spine, but she knew the fire of the light side that roared through her body would repel what she felt. Her instinct wanted to stay still, but she knew that she had to tackle this problem head on. Taking some steps forward, she began to lightly jog towards where she felt the disturbance coming from. For about 2 minutes she moved across the fields, the grass going up to her waist as she jogged with determination in her soul.

She finally felt something. Something, off. Stopping, she turned to look down a small downhill section to the being that sent ripples through her.
"If you're here for redemption, then you have come seeking the wrong person," Xevnlie called out before gaining a stronger stance of her right foot sideways towards her foe, with her knees slightly bent. Her lightsaber, slightly longer than a typical one in her hand as the chrome glinted in the light. "But if you seek chaos, death or to upset the balance of this world, then turn back before you no longer can," She finished, glaring at the man before her through her mask.

He waited until he heard the voice that spoke. Just as he had suspected the girl would come out of hiding. Being a former Jedi Knight he knew the tricks that Jedi may pull, and with his new skills as an Inquisitor. He thought highly of himself, perhaps even overconfident in his abilities. Looking at the robed covered being in a mask. A lightsaber stuck close to her. A smirk came from behind the confines of the painful apparatus stuck to his flesh. He wondered if her words would be enough in trying to stave off the dark jedi. She would find herself sorely disappointed.

"Little Jedi.. You are mistaken on both accounts... I have come solely for you." He said with a sort of roughness in his tone. The saber in his hand clung tightly to his grip, as if one flick of his wrist. A blade of his saber emerged with a hiss. The crimson blade igniting, and the crescent grip formed eagerly around his fingers. He would not give her a chance to react as he moved with swiftness. Jumping into the air, carried by the Force itself. Launching directly towards his foe, the blade poised to strike in a downward slash as he descended upon her form. The intent was to gauge her reaction. To test her first before he could truly have fun. She had little time to react to the opening strike, observing on how she would handle him, and how she would deal with his brutal tactics.

With the being's response still lingering in her mind, the crimson flash of the Lightsaber focused every piece of attention towards her foe. Being a lot more stronger than she looked with the force running through her, she ignited the forward blade of her lightsaber. The singular golden blade was raised before her as her foe reached her. She caught the impact of it, but her strong and sturdy stance absorbed most of the shaking that would have gone across her. "Then you shall know defeat!" Xevnlie cried as her resolve hardened again.

Pushing hard on their interlocked blades, with the force aiding her, she hoped to launch her foe away. That was a way of seeing how skilled she was, she knew it. It was one of the many tactics of those who were unaware of their targets abilities and how to gauge their strength. This time before her opponent could fully react, she bolted forward, her light body making for superb speed as she held her weapon in a singular hand as she jumped, spinning in a blinding amount of glowing golden lines swirled around her horizontally.

The blades interlocked for a moment before the swirling blades of the girl's saberstaff had pushed Tarrik back only a bit. Wondering if her only attack would be through the use of her saber staff. He stood back, raising his lightsaber and the crescent guard around his grip. He had completely turned from a single lightsaber to one that matched her own saber staff. The guard transformed into a more circular mode as the second blade ignited. Looking at her with a slight smirk, it was only one of many of the tricks he had up his sleeve. Moving on her again moving his saber staff to match her own.

With the hydraulics of his own armor, he had strength unlike any other. Eagerly moving to push her back, his blade seeking to drive her back.. The only drawback was that he couldn't force her into a corner. That was the specialty of a saberstaff. One could force back the enemy into a corner in close quarters fighting. Given the circumstances, he would have to make do with other tactics. His blades clashing against her's. Not giving her any inch and keeping her purely on the defensive. His tactics became increasingly aggressive. If he could overwhelm her he may not have to resort to his other tactics.

When her advancements were met with a strange double bladed Lightsaber change, with the handle being circled in a metal right with both blades on opposing sides, Xevnlie backed up. This foe was relentless in his attacks, the dull humming of his blades either whipping passed her dodging body, or sending sparks as her blocked with her own weapon. The space between them became a flurry of red and gold light as their blades clashed. Using the force to amplify her movements, she jumped back creating a solid 8 meters between them. "Let's make this fair shall we?" Xevnlie said holding her lightsaber horizontal. The golden blade to her left still humming softly, with a press on a second button beside the initial switch, suddenly got accompanied with a second golden blade. It was similar to her foes, but the handle was a very traditional design without the metal disk addition.

Using the brief moments of her second blade's ignition and the space between them, Xevnlie scanned her foe's weapon and style. It was heavy on attacking, and his strength was fairly powerful for his own body to possess. Either the Force or some mechanical aid was being given. Taking a defensive stance with her left side facing her foe, she held the lightsaber almost vertically and diagonally behind her. One hand resided on it as she waited for her foe to advance. The disk on his saber still troubled her. It was odd, and most likely serving a purpose.

Without fail, after only a second of waiting, she bolted forwards both hands on her lightsaber as she began to enter a counter and offensive style. Her expert skill with this style of lightsaber greatly outweighed her skill with a single blade. Both golden beams of light from her handle, which was perfect for her slightly shorter size of person, flashed in front of her countering and going for any opening that was present. Her handle twirled and spun around her, with her body also spinning and moving fast to dodge and manoeuvred to where his weapon wasn't before slashing at his sides and once or twice his back. The best way of describing her strikes and counters, was a very fast and precise barrage of attacks from almost all sides including the metal disk on his handle. Some of her strikes attempted to move between his hand and the disk in order to damage the latter, since his hand might just be some kind of metal prosthetic and not serve her any aid apart from the momentary slowing of strikes before he adjusted.

"This man must be well trained in both Sith and Jedi arts, but why would he fall so far?" Xevnlie thought as she fought her foe, her mask's grey eye pieces occasionally becoming partly see through due to the flashing of their blades. Her rich amber eyes glared, calm yet full of focus, at her foe aware of every position of the blade she wasn't clashing against. Given this was her own style of combat as well, it would be hard to catch her off guard.

For a basis of what kind of moves/ form she is using to a degree, is this one
Form 7
She is a self taught wielder of a lightsaber for the most part and has uncovered many old records of fighting styles with some like her, but mainly alone. Her version is still very offensive, but her focus replaces the typical darkness needed for this style. (Just in case you wanted to visualise it for your next post :D )

The First Brother did not relent to his foe being a mere Padawan more adequate to his status as an Inquisitor. While she was moving on the offensive, Tarrik had resorted back to his methods as a Jedi resorting to Form III as the Jedi was attacking him in a flurry of blows. Using his saber moving it in a fashion to block what would come. It was clear that the girl may have had some training after all the temple records being complete as her emphasis on the form was Form 7. Although it was either being Vaapad or Juyo even he could hardly tell what she was using. Relying on mere defensive tactics his blades moving to counteract her moves.

His steps moving back, trying to gain some footing to better counteract her attacks. This time he was slowly baiting her. Seeing if she would fall into his trap. Looking at her remarking through the apparatus he wore. A painful almost mechanical tone spoke eyeing her. "It seems you had some skill after all Padawan. It will not be enough against me." He remarked, he knew her fighting style, having to study in the Lothal Temple for years before it's fall at the hands of the First Order. He slowly kept stepping back as if to slowly continue baiting her. Letting her not see all the tricks up his sleeve he planned to end this fight quickly. His hope was to bring her back to the Inquisitorius fortress in order to break her. Turn her like he had done at the hands of his Sith captors. He bided his time and waited.

A slight smirk came to his lips grinning as she attempted to strike the circular disk of his lightsaber. As soon as her blade was soon within the disk. She had no idea what the capabilities of his weapon were soon enough. Letting her think she had the upper hand in the fight. With a press of a button on the hilt, two blades sprouted forth from it. Hitting the blade of a saber. To her eye she must have thought they were ordinary vibroblades. To the contrary they were in fact Cortosis blades built within the saber designed to end the fight quickly. It wasn't before long that her blade began to act strange. As soon as the blades would touch them, she would find the lightsaber of her's quickly shutting off. If anything he had time to end the fight. With another swift and quick motion. Due to the Vambraces that acted as his gauntlets. He pointed them at her shooting a thick cable to trap her in, and then attempting to punch her in the face hard with the crushgaunt of his armor.

Thinking she had the advantage, she was only going to keep her foe back before either pushing him away, or leaving. When her strike was about to hit the metal ring, strange blades came from it causing her lightsaber to bug out! The blade started to short out as it turned off With a gasp, she felt cable wrap around her middle, with one arm still free (Right), but catching the other. Her eyes behind her reinforced mask looked shocked as her foe's punch landed, striking the mask off her face. The impact slightly dented it, but it still came off. Her lightsaber was dropped behind her as the impact still rattled her mind. Inside her mind, a small voice rang out quietly, "Fight back! Teach him your real power!" Xevnlie was about to refuse, when she realised that if she didn't give in now she would most likely be taken away.

Her amber eyes snapping open, a hint of rage and desperation in them, as her free arm moved above the wire and with all the power she could muster reached out with the force and gripped hard at his facial apparatus. Hopefully, the painful way it looked attached on his face would give a bit. She mustered up her strength and pulled at it. She hoped that it would either break off his face or be damaged enough to insight pain for her to try and escape. Moments later, she would try and disarm her foe from his weapon using the Force and trying also to space out the cable just enough for her to move out from under it entirely and retrieve her lightsaber and mask. Even if they were still damaged, she had to try and get them fixed again.

If she was successful, she would have to run as it was her only choice. She couldn't completely beat him, but hopefully she could escape long enough to leave and find some time to repair it before he came back.

Think of how Mace Windu, in the Clone Wars 2003 edition, used the force to crush general grievous' chest. Like this, but with pulling as soon as it is slightly crushed. Xevnlie is doing the same, but trying to pull at Tarrik's facial apparatus enough to get a chance to escape. Also the Red writing is a darker more desperate voice in her mind that is linked to her inner dark side pulling at her. She has given in this time, but at what cost down the line? The Dark Red is her using the voice's advice and trying to give out pain and damage using the Force./SPOILER]

Tarrik was confident he had her in his grasp Eagerly taking what he wants. This Padawan was no doubt anything that surprised him. A typical Jedi overconfident in her abilities. Now in the grasp of an Imperial Inquisitor, before he could slowly wrangle her in with his cable connected to the Vambrace. Attempting to pull her in slowly. Until he felt the dark power of the Force. Grip his apparatus. Knowing that the Force within her was very strong. He could barely focus on her, as she gripped his mask. Inciting more pain than what the mask gave him.

The cable being slowly released from her, as he used the Force to stop her attack, ultimately having to release her. This girl was strong with the dark side indeed. Truly worthy of making an Inquisitor. She was dangerous she would either die here, or come back with him to be turned. Looking at her. As she was about to run. He attempted yet another strike against her. This time launching his saber towards her. The disc this time not being for show. She would soon find that the sabers were spinning on the disc in a deadly rotation, as he attempted to guide it through the Force in an attempt to take a limb off of her. In hopes of slowing her down.

"Embrace the dark side young one. It is the only way you will be able to defeat me. Do that or die like an animal running from the predator. The choice is yours." He remarked as he was eager in hunting her down. Kill or capture it didn't matter to him all the same.

With the power still rushing through her mind, Xevnlie ran for only a short while before Tarrik readied his attack. That voice in her head was deafening now, calling out to "Attack and make him pay!" But could she? Could she really attack this person and win? Without much thought as to what was behind her, Xevnlie turned her head slightly as could see the red blades spinning towards her. Her mind went into overdrive again as Tarrik's words tried to coax her into falling further down the path of darkness. With a last effort of rage from that particular part inside her, she stopped and turned. Her mind roared with anger at the taunt. Her body was almost acting on its own. Her eyes focused on the spinning blade, the function again showing to have multiple uses to her surprise, as she had an idea.

Xevnlie raised her hand and reached out with the force, when the blade was half way between them. She hopped the weapon stop, but that
Wasn't enough. "I will never be like you! I am in control of my path. But we'll see if the predator can hunt without any claws or teeth!" Xevnlie shouted before belting her mask and saber in one hand and reaching out with both hands with the force. She acted like she was holding a tube at opposing ends of it with only her fingertips, bent into claws, as she focused her mind and began to pull the lightsaber, hopefully before it got to her or if it did stop mid air, in those very same opposite directions. She plan was to completely remove this special weapon from the equation all together and rip it apart! If it worked, the lightsaber would be ripped in two, the handle being torn at the middle stopping it functioning.

After doing all she could to the accursed weapon, she used the force to fling the remains of it far off from them before letting loose one final force push at Tarrik, Xevnlie turned and ran, aiming for her speeder to get to somewhere safe. She just wanted to leave this strange warrior and her use of the Dark side behind her.
