Description: The Hotel California is a 'liberated' YT-1300fp variant light freighter formerly used by Sarge Potteiger as a mobile base of operations. It's nearly four centuries old at this point, but has been kept in decent condition over the years as it hasn't been really used.

The ship itself, on the outside, is unremarkable. It's battered, ugly, but apparently fairly well cared for. The true modifications lay inside, as is the case with most of the modified versions of this vessel. Enlisting the help of famed mechanic Zir'ka Loashar, Sarge upgraded the innards of the vessel.

Zir'ka helped him improve the engines (and hyperdrive), as well as the targeting computers and sensor systems. As a SpecOps agent for the Rebellion, Sarge was given access to a whole host of ship part he'd not normally have available, as he'd need to remain undetected and able to save his own hide if need be.

To this end he installed such things as a sensor jammer and encryption module. The encryption module was of extreme importance as he needed to make sure his transmissions weren't going to be hacked or monitored by the Imperials. Much of Sarge's inspiration for upgrades came from the Millennium Falcon, which is reflected in his choice of upgrades.

Where it differs, however, is the interior. Whereas most freighters were bare bones on the interior, Sarge spared no expense in turning the interior into a home away from home. Hardwood floors were put in over the metal grating there previously. The walls weren't spared either, as their lower halves were, too, covered in wood while the upper halves were repainted in various dark colors. Many of the passenger cabins were rearranged to be more like guest bedrooms than bunkrooms, reducing the passenger capacity but providing for more 'creature' comforts. He also made sure to include a medbay with a surgical droid so that he wouldn't need to rely on public practices to repair battle wounds.

The only notable exception from the strange interior was the cargo bay, which still retained it's original look.
