A militaristic monastic order dedicated to bringing order and stability to the galaxy. The Holy Order of the Righteous Flame views themselves as being the guardians of the galaxy who must rise to defend those who can not defend themselves. While they seek to bring to heel Force Users, make no mistake; they are an army unto themselves, well equipped and trained.
Established as a means to defend the denizens of the Galaxy from Force Users, they call the planet Feenix their home, having established their own Temple upon the world. The Order is one in which those who join are sworn to dedicate themselves to ensuring that Order is returned to the Galaxy.
Advancement is thus defined by merit, and the order itself is run as a meritocracy; as it matters not whom one was before they joined the Order or who their family is. All Brothers and Sisters of the Order are treated the same; thus the order looks down upon ideals such as Humanocentrism or any ideals that would exclude any individual due to species, orientation or creed. The Order is thus meant to stand as a beacon of light and hope for those in a galaxy overrun by Force Users and inept Politicians.
Originally founded as a new Templar Order, the Order has risen from those before them, still holding the belief that all Force Users are dangerous and have posed such to the Galaxy at large. As such, they do not permit Force Users within their ranks. They now stand with a new belief, the belief that the galaxy must be cleansed with a Righteous Flame.

Proving Honor: Much like the trial of knighthood that the Jedi undergo, the ceremony of Proving Honor is one that is meant to be undertaken by the members of the Order as they see fit. Those that have seen combat together or overcome great hardships take on the ceremony to strengthen their bonds. Often it is used to test the capability and readiness of an individual before being promoted in rank.
Glory of the Dead: Everyone dies at some point, and as the fallen are gathered, it is the living that mourn their passing. The Glory of the Dead is a ceremony in which those members of the Order that have fallen are given the respect and remembrance of those that still live. At the end of the public ceremony, those individuals that knew the deceased best in life retire together to remember their fallen friend in private.
Right of Annulment: When a collection of Force Users and Force Sensitives gather in mass it can be a dangerous thing. While an Exalted March is a decision not taken lightly, nor is the Right of Annulment. Once the order is given though, it is carried out without prejudice and as swiftly as possible. In essence the Right of Annulment is the systematic destruction of a collection of individuals that are either Force Sensitive or capable of using the Force, to ensure that their collective powers gathered in one area do not prove a danger to those around them.
The Severing: A violent ceremony, the Severing is the very act of removing oneself of their connection to the force. Those that understand just how dangerous their link to the Force is are encouraged to undergo the ceremony; however many who do just that often do not survive the ceremony, finding the stress and pain too much to handle as the Force is torn away from them. Others go mad and either kill themselves or must be put down to ensure the safety of those around them. The few that survive are welcomed into the Order.

- The Harbinger: The de facto leader of the Order, they act as the guiding hand, interpreting the Code of. the Righteous Flame with the aid of the Circle of Cardinals; the governing body of the Order. They serve as a beacon to all members and act as a Paragon of the Order, seeking to further its influence and protecting the denizens of the galaxy. While this position is meant to be held for the duration of an individuals life, there are no established rules preventing their abdication or against the Circle of Cardinals voting for a new member of the order to take up the mantle.
- Knight-Commander: The highest ranking positions of The Order, these individuals are given the most responsibilities, often leading armies and fleets. Though some Knight-Commanders maintain positions as the heads of Temples or even act in the capacity as a Planetary Governor when needed. While there can be multiple Knight-Commanders, it is only the most senior nine whom form the Circle of Cardinals, the governing body of the order that act as the Harbinger's closest advisers.
- Knight-Captain: These individuals form the back bone of the militaristic monastic order, as they are those whom often execute the commands of the Knight-Commanders. These individuals are often commanders of vessels or sections of armies when at war, or serving as the heads of smaller temples. In order to be named a Captain, one has to show responsibility, dedication and have proven themselves dedicated unto the Order.
- Knight-Lieutenant: Serving often as the Lieutenants of Knight-Captains, and acting as their instruments to ensure that their orders are spread, they are proven combat veterans. Many take up various duties, and while not all remain within the main branch of the Order, it is more often the senior Knight-Lieutenants that take up positions in the Expeditionary, Engineering, or Relief Corps.
- Knight-Corporal: A step above the rank and file, the Knight-Corporals are the true back bone of the military might of the Order. All orders filter down to these individuals, and it is they whom take their Templars into the fray. Leading from the front, they ensure that their units are equipped and properly trained, and that their equipment is well kept. Many whom attain this rank push unto higher ranks, while a staunch few remain, desiring nothing more than to forge greatness from the shells of others.
- Knight-Errant: The Rank and file; nothing more than an enlisted trooper. These are those individuals that make up the bulk of the Order. Trained and Equipped, they are sent out to secure the worlds and defend the people of the Galaxy. They swear away all of their titles, wealth and land, and become equal. No matter if an individual comes from the Core Worlds or the Outer Rim, none is better than another.

- Cardinal: More of a special title than an actual position; the title of Cardinal is bestowed upon the nine most Senior Knight-Commanders which form the Circle of Cardinals, the governing body of the Order. These individuals serve as the advisers of the Harbinger and among their number are counted the three Knight-Commanders that act as the head of the Engineering Corps, Expeditionary Corps, and Relief Corps.
- Sergeant-at-Arms: The prestige of this position is one that many clamor to prove their worth of such a title. The Sergeant-at-Arms are trusted with the administration of entire armies and temples; seeing to their security and the well being of its forces. Not only do they over see the security, they also see to its supplies, manufacturing of arms and armor and all aspects. They are in essence administrators with the most senior over seeing multiple system forces.
- Seneschal: While often seen as a punishment and an end to one's career within the Order, this position / title is one of great important. The title itself, and thus the responsibilities of the position that come with it are only entrusted to those individuals that a Senior Knight-Commander sees potential within. This is due in part that the individual whom is named as the Seneschal of a Senior Knight-Commander is being groomed to take that Knight-Commander's place upon their death, retirement, or other such event of their abdicating or removal from their position. Often this is not a punishment, rather it is a fast track to a higher position.

- Engineering Corps: Arms and Armor. Vessels and Vehicles. Supplies to carry an army, all of these are needed to ensure that even the most basic of operations are capable of success. Those that dedicated themselves to the challenges of securing supplies and ensuring that those supplies flow to the front lines are the dedicated members of the Engineering Corps. These members of the Order ensure that supplies continue to reach those that need them while also leading the forefront of Research and Development to better equip the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame. - Formerly the Armigers
- Expeditionary Corps: Specialized in their own fields of research, reconnaissance, and a myriad of capabilities. Those that dedicate themselves to tracking down the most dangerous artifacts to ensure that they are locked away, or removing the most dangerous individuals from the Galaxy. The members of the Expeditionary Corps are the eyes and ears of the order, ensuring that their vital information and data fall into the proper hands to ensure that the Order can ready themselves for any such danger in any event. Likewise they ensure that the most dangerous of items and individuals in the galaxy are removed or locked away to ensure they can no longer do harm. - Formerly the Seekers and Enlightened
- Relief Corps: There will always be those that desire to aid others in the galaxy, and in this time of crisis when chaos continues to reign, there will always be a need for those individuals. The devoted members of the Relief Corps make it their mission to ensure that those in need are taken care of and aided in their darkest of hours. When an orphan cries out, the Relief Corps will be there. When those that are sick need aid, it is the Relief Corps that sees to their care. And when those that have lost everything need somewhere to turn, the Relief Corps stands ready to provide them peace of mind. - Formerly the Hospitallers

..:: The Exalted March ::..

Often called a Crusade, An Exalted March is a tool that is used by the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame. Often it is called against those who have proven to be a clear danger to the Galaxy; with the effect being the total subjugation of those that the Exalted March has been called upon.
Such a command however is never taken lightly. The mere thought of such is brought up and voted upon by the Circle of Cardinals and even then the decision must be unanimous. There can not be a single no vote against the Exalted March. Thus they are not often called unless all among the Circle feel that it is the last course and there are no more actions to be taken.

..:: History of the Order ::..

The Holy Order of the Righteous Flame has its roots in various mercenary organizations that operated during the most recent times of turmoil. One of the lesser known, who would go on to discover and rescue a young girl; the sole survivor of a family massacre, would form the original foundations of what would become the Order. The leader, an elderly man, took in the girl and shortly after the entirety of the Mercenary Force had adopted her.
Their contracts and duties took them across the galaxy and brought them into conflict with Force Users on multiple fronts. This was the beginning of the establishment of the belief that all Force Users pose a danger to the Galaxy. In time this force would grow by absorbing other mercenary factions, usually those that had been broken or were no longer hired by previous employers.
These small groups formed together into what was christened as The Templar Order. While this order shared a name with one that had been standing previously, they still sought out the doctrine that there was no chaos, only order. Believing themselves to be the ones to bring about Order, they set out to accomplish such a task. Also integrating the remnants of the Knights of Kal'Shebbol, along with their practice of training in the art of Teras Kasi; they also adopted other practices, creeds and tenants from the former Knights.
With the events of the Omega War sending a ripple across the Galaxy, the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame has reorganized itself and heeds the call anew that rings out across the galaxy.
As their ties with Alderaan become stronger, the Holy Order has taken a new stance. Remaining faithful to their belief that Force Users are a danger, they have become more tolerable of those that seek to use the Force to serve the denizens of the galaxy and not their own interest. While Lightsiders are still looked upon with some suspicion, they are still more widely accepted by the Order than those of the Sith and Darksiders.

..:: The Omega War ::..
The Galaxy has changed.
For years the Order of the Righteous Flame has been quiet, its members idle and waiting, helping where they could. Then it happened, an event so unthinkable that it shook the very foundation of the galaxy and shifted the power structure across the void.
The Galactic Alliance, striking from their base of power in the Outer Rim Territories, conquered the center of the Galaxy, Coruscant. They wrest control of the world from the One Sith Empire; which in turn splintered internally as factions began to war against one another, ultimately causing the Empire to fall.
Though they are not the only to fall.
Under the leadership of a new Mandalore, who has united the clans, the Mandalorians strike against the Republic; already ailing from its countless conflicts. The Republic falls, and the Mandalorians accomplish that which the One Sith could not for all of their attempts over the years.
Now the Core of the Galaxy is left undefended. While the Galactic Alliance consolidates their gains and fortifies their forward positions, the worlds of the Core remain in the hands of remnants of the once great and now humbled powers. It is only a matter of time before Warlords rise up from these remnants and lay claim to those worlds they once protected.
Factions old and new rise and fall in an ever waxing and waning sea of power.
Darkness falls upon those worlds; though a flame still burns...
United under the leadership of an individual known only as the Harbinger, they heed the call.
The banners of a burning flame rise across the worlds. Their members old and new flock to the banners and their numbers grow.
The Omega War begun in the aftermath of the fall of the One Sith and the Republic brings about a burning flame in the heart of many.
For while the night is darkest before the dawn, the dawn shall come.
They burn with a passion.
They are The Holy Order of the Righteous Flame...
By their hand they shall raise a sword to pierce the sun...
By their hand an iron shield shall rise to defend the innocent...
By their might let chaos be undone...
