Description: The two heirs of Velok -- his partner and his lab assistant -- were also heir to his twin holocrons. Like Velok himself, often known as the Living Holocron, these holocrons contained a little information on every topic under the suns. Every Force technique, no matter how obscure, is mentioned -- but generally only mentioned -- within these holocrons. Velok's expertise, such as it was, lay in the field of energy manipulation and tutaminis. His holocron included commentary on the following principles:
- How to switch quickly between thermal/radiation energy manipulation and Force Drain;
- The dangers of Force Drain, including self-consumption, loss of control of behavior, and so forth;
- How tutaminis can only be used to siphon energy related to heat, electricity, and radiation, not kinetic energy (kinetic energy can be countered or nullified by telekinesis, but not absorbed);
- How absorbing significant energy with tutaminis will set your clothes on fire, utterly exhaust you, and eventually cook you alive;
- How absorbing energy from a lightsabre virtually always results in taking a serious or lethal sabre injury regardless of the energy you absorb, even when you are a specialist Master such as Nejaa Halcyon;
- How energy constructs, such as Force Wraiths or Spears of Midnight Black, may be partially or wholly absorbed;
- How an average skilled user would be able to stop a blaster bolt with his or her palm;
- How several Jedi of Corellian descent could absorb heat energy in order to give them an average level of telekinetic ability;
- How apex-level tutaminis does not permit perfectly efficient recycling of the energy of an enemy's energy-based attack (recharging oneself by consuming incoming attacks is rarely effective);
- How to absorb a lethal blow and deal out one final return strike while dying.
