Description:
The man known as The Sith Emperor, Lord Vitiate, and even Valkorion was perhaps the single most powerful force user to ever walk the galaxy.

Though none knew his true name, and few ever saw his face, millenia ago it was certain that The Sith Emperor held more powerful than any single being. His strength was legend, his power was nightmare, and all he held was coveted by Millions. Ruling and Empire from the shadows and reaching far into the galaxy The Sith Emperor sowed terror and destruction through the galaxy. The man caused fear in the hearts of even the most stalwart Jedi, and even those with the bravest of hearts found horror within his gaze. It was this strength, this power and untold knowledge that The Sith Emperor eventually documented within his holocron, locked away within a single, powerful matrix crystal. It was here that he documented his life, his legend, his power, and all the rituals he utilized to achieve them.

This Holocron, the final Token of The Sith Emperor was created at an unknown time by the man who would later call himself Valkorion. Whether he documented his knowledge after the strike of the Eternal Empire or before is impossible to tell, for the Holocron has never been opened. Yet within the shell, hidden beneath the thick Wroshyr Wood and Electrum plating lay more secrets than even the Darkest of Sith Lords could ever dream of. Contained within the Holocron is the Emperors knowledge, the sum total of his strength and power, and like many other Holocrons, it holds within it a piece of him. The tiniest sliver of the Emperor that stands as the Holocron's guardian. It watches, waits for it to be opened, waiting to decide if those who seek the Knowledge of the Emperor are worthy of its power.

Knowing his strength, and knowing the treachery of those who covet it, The Emperor designed his holocron to ensnare and entrap, to fool and trick, to kill.

The Holocron carries a unique design, even among those who would call themselves Sith. It appears relatively simple, a small box of Wood and Elctrum, it's rich colors contrasting with the odd symbols etched into the metal. The perfect cube sits quietly otherwise unadorned. Unlike other holocrons the cube gives no sign of a glow, no pulsing of power, no true indication of it's origin or strength. Those who are sensitive to the force would find their mood changed, their anger affixed, their head piercing with pain. They would suffer it's effects, but never know the origin. The Holocron itself does not speak or whisper, it does not itself seek to ensnare, instead waits, it sits and lounges, simply allowing those who would have the Emperors power come to it.

Those who would seek the Emperors knowledge would find hurtles in their path. Once someone knows the origins of the Holocron, it's contents and who created it they would seek to open it. On this quest they would learn it is not a simple task. The Emperor designed his holocron with numerous safeguards.

The first of these guards is the Holocrons own calling. Like many other Sith Holocrons, and perhaps even those of the Jedi, the Holocrom of the Sith Emperor requires the use of the force to actually activate. The twist on the Emperors Holocron is the need for a particular set of the force, that being the Darkside. Anger, hatred, fear, these things must be used to begin the use of the Holocron, the touch of the darkside of the force being the only that will allow the Holocron to react.

Once passed this hurt, those who seek to open the Holocron would find their next barrier. The outside of the Holocron, as it's appearance would hint, is a puzzle. Each side of the holocron is a separate piece of the puzzle, and each side must be solved before the box will open. Some of the sides require pieces of metal to be moved, other require touches of the darkside, and still one requires a sacrifice of blood. Each of the six sides of the cube need to be correctly solved, with each one depending on the other.* There is a correct sequence, and if the sequence is entered incorrectly, and the puzzles are solved incorrectly, those who would open the holocron would instead find their minds tormented by their greatest horrors, the holocron binding and ensnaring them, throwing their minds into chaos and casting their bodies into the state of a drooling child.

The final, and perhaps the greatest hurtle of them all is the Sith Emperor himself.

Like the Holocrons of so many famous Sith, such as those of Darth Bane, Krayt, and many others, the Guardian of The Emperors Holocron is Valkorion himself.

The Age old Emperor, the conqueror of half the galaxy, the greatest threat the Jedi have ever faced. It is he who holds the knowledge within the Holocron, he who decides if the opener is worthy. He says no words, gives no indication, he simply stands above those who would seek his knowledge. He watches them, studies them, and then passes judgement. There are no arguments before the Sith Emperor, no words to be said, you are either worthy, or you are not. If the Emperor judges you favorably, the knowledge of the Holocron is yours, if he casts doubt upon you, then you share the same fate as those who had failed in it's opening.

Though the darkside is required to properly open the puzzle box, the Holocron can be solved by those who do not use the force. The pieces upon the holocron can be shifted and moved about even without the touch of the darkside, however these shifts are not the proper means of opening it. Instead they render a second option to the holocron itself, a trap created by Valkorion in his last days. The shifting tiles of the Puzzle Box when solved without the touch of the force unlock but a sliver of the strength contained within. Though the Guardian of the Holocron does not appear and it's questions do not begin, the Holocron does act upon the puzzle being solved. It lashes out and grasps at the one who solved it, tearing away their minuscule presence within the force and rendering them a walking wound within it.

Due the trials in it's opening, the long ages that have passed, and the turmoil within the galaxy The Sith Emperor's Holocron has passed away into Legend.

The ancient device was long forgotten after the fall of the Empire, left to rot in an old storehouse on Nar Shaddaa. It was here that it was found by smugglers, taken and sold on the black market as a trinket, nothing more. For centuries the Holocron was passed from person to person, never opened, never utilized. Death surrounded it, anger and despair, fear floating about those who held it within their homes. For millenia the Holocron simply floated, passing through the galaxy until it eventually found its way to the outer rim.

Here it was used as a trophy, a small gift among a pile of treasure to the winner of a Pod-race. Due the Holocrons nature, it's pieces treated via Sith Alchemy the object is practically indestructible, never scratched, never dented, and never destroyed.

Kurt Meyer, in a circumstance that landed him in the race due to kidnapping of [member="Kaileann Vera"] managed to be the winner of the race, collecting the Holocron along with his prize money. Not finding a use for the thing, and thinking it was simply just a decorative piece, Kurt moved to throw the thing in the junkyard. Kaile, ever the love of beautiful things elected to keep it, rescuing it from the garbage and instead utilizing it as a piece of decoration for her room.

Due to her pet Ysalmiri neither Kurt, nor Kaile feel the troubling effects of the Holocron, the devices effects being neutralized by Bobo.

*This is really just RP fluff, and if it was ever to be opened I would expect these puzzles to be RP'd out in whatever seems fitting.
