Protected: Encased in a Beskar Frame designed to protect it and created with a Solari Crystal. The holocron can be protected from Dark Siders and Saber Users.

Force Dependent: You need to be a Force User to utilize it. For anyone else it is simply an inert object.
Heavier: Designed and constructed with beskar, it is heavier compared to many of the other holocrons in the galaxy.
DESCRIPTION
Prior to the death of the Mandalorian Jedi in the Old Republic possibly due to a Jedi conflict involved against the Sith Empire, Tarre Viszla created a holocron to contain his knowledge about the Dark Saber, and other techniques. It is not known how the Holocron was made, but it eventually made its way in a temple located on Otos Plutonia, the Planet that is cycled by Pantora in the Outer Rim. From there, Tarre entrusted his apprentince, Jar Fristia to watch over the holocron and the dark saber, until someone who was worthy enough was able to get these items. Even if it was from his own clan or house, Viszla was a honourable Jedi and wanted everyone to try and prove themselves that they are a true Mandalorian by heart, Mandalorain, Viszla or not. It was unknown when the Dark Saber was relocated and taken, but the holocron was returned back to it's original location. That is where Jar would freeze himself in carbonite, and come out every year to find the worthy Mandalorian.
It would not be until a few thousand years later that a Mandalorain by the name of @Viathae Qarsmat, alongside her fellow Atrisian Dancer master and lover, [member="Nico Minuro Ike"], would come to face the trials of the holocron. Being able to complete the trials, in which no other Mandalorian would of, Viathae was able to complete the trials, and was able to gain the holocron as a reward of her strength, her prowess and most importantly, her companionship. The Holocron is one of the three items that Tarre Viszla had. The other being his Dark Saber, and the last one being his armour. Only two of the three items were remaiinng in the cave that was protected. Viathae's ability to utilize the Holocron in addition to training with Beskar'gam, allows it to be easily held onto than others who are not so good with it.
