Bane's only successfully made Holocron was first created in the years following the Ruusan Reformation and the collapse of the Brotherhood of Darkness. It was the first Holocron, and according to Darth Sidious, the only true Holocron used by the Order of Sith Lords for the next thousand years. It was created and filled with the Sith Lord's knowledge so that it could be passed down through the Order and offer guidance and knowledge of ancient dark powers and information.
In the years following its creation by Darth Bane it would be passed down for over one thousand years, passing through the hands of the likes of Darth Zannah, Darth Tenebris, Darth Plagueis, Darth Sidious, and finally, its last known owner prior to the Gulag Plague was Darth Krayt. The Guardian of the Holocron is of Darth Bane while he was encased in his Orbalisk armor, intended to be both intimidating and to serve as a lesson to future generations of Sith: Power requires Sacrifice.

The Holocron contains a full history of the Order of Sith Lords, or the Banite Sith, from Darth Bane to Darth Sidious. This History is somewhat skewed and lacking in detail in certain eras and the period the Order of the Sith Lords was hidden and forgotten, but there is some information across the entire millennium the Order was in hiding and enacting the Grand Plan.
The Biography of Darth Bane is held within the Holocron, depicting the story of his life and his rise to power, the destruction of the Brotherhood of darkness and the creation of the Rule of Two from Bane's perspective. This includes a description of the Thought Bomb, but does not include how to create a Thought Bomb anymore. Whether this knowledge was never included or removed in the last two thousand years is unknown, but the Holocron does not include it in the modern era.
Like all Holocrons, Darth Bane's holocron contains information of Force powers, abilities, and knowledge the Dark Lord had gathered over his lifetime. His profuse knowledge of Telekinesis is displayed, including instructions on teaching exaggerated powers such as Force Wave and Repulse. Darth Bane's lessons on Fear and its use, as well as the ability to draw Force Power from the Fear of other Beings is included, available to those with mastery of the power, as the Guardian hides such knowledge jealously.
Darth Bane was possibly the only student of the ability to create a Death Field, a very powerful version of Force Drain, and instructions on how to create the field, as well as knowledge on its side effects and requirements. Even the Guardian advises that Masters of the ability not attempt such an ability unaided in combat.
Finally the Holocron contains knowledge of Orbalisks in all facets. How to go about gathering them, how to craft them into armor or what have you, and most importantly, how to remove them safely from a host. It also has some details about resisting and healing the poison they release when they die, but isn't specific.
