Alright so, out of a misplaced since of interest. I was wondering if anyone would be amused by the idea of an alien lifeforms that is both predatory and deadly reeking havoc the galaxy. Think of it like the Aliens from...well, Alien. Semi-sentient beings that travel through space via asteroids. Imagine one of these things smashing onto a cruiser or a planet? Things spread like some kind of sickness. I like the idea of something like this just taking over and striking fear into many because these things could be 'anywhere' doing 'anything' and stalking 'anyone'. No one would be safe.


Imagine the Necromorphs from Dead Space, the Aliens from Alien. Hell, even The Flood from Halo. I don't know if something like this has been done before, but if it haven't, i'd totally be up for doing a big plot based around this. I don't have full details on how such a thing would work, but if you guys are interested in the idea for content. We could make something like this happen lol.

*nods head* It's a pretty scary thing, and there were two books that involved those types of Zombies. I love them. They even made Blackwing apart of the new canon. So those are basically as close as you're gonna get to something horror based.

Thats rather impressive. If ppl express interest in this idea that virus will certainly be one of the main methods of achieving it. Frankly, i'm so used to seeing members go to war with one another, puff their chest and show off their guns to opponents and ect. But i was curious how ppl might act when faced with such an enemy. I don't know about you, But if Winter herself saw something like that she'd be like "nopenopenope, fuk dat shit i'm out". Lol


Or ppl can just mow them down and use their 'superweapons' but meh. Thats no fun. lol

Hiveminds are interesting concepts to bring up and if done right they can be really cool, I've always been interested in them in various other universes. You just want to make sure that you make whatever concept you design your own, so its not like a Tyranids replica from Warhammer or the Zerg Swarm from Starcraft.

While there is room for cool ideas here Hiveminded creatures always have similar problems. They are really hard to make characters for since most creatures share a single mind, there is typically little room for character development in most of these races. That's why they make really good antagonists in events where your going to face against them and kill them, but characters of these races tend to be considered "flat characters", that means they don't really change overtime, they typically fulfill a role in the story and are put to the side afterwards.

My suggestion is really do some research and look around first as the roleplays a Hivemind generate start out interesting, but tend to lose steam when it comes time for the big stuff to happen.
