There was solace in isolation.

A bright morning atop the Cin'ciri mountain range once more greeted the lone Beorni that wandered it. His icy blue eyes stared out over the freshly fallen snow. Then he rose. He emerged from the small cave he'd slept in for the night. This was his usual routine ever since he'd come to Kestri. No tribe, no clan. That'd been lost on Mandalore. But he was never alone, not truly. Around him the Spirits of the wild sang their peaceful tune. Life was everywhere. Life was sacred.

With a slight groan he stretched his arms overhead, then hoisted up the various furs he'd gathered over the last several weeks. It was routine. Walk among the creatures that lived in this frozen wonderland, hunt for the meat he needed to survive and make use of the various parts of the animals, then stop by the small village of Resa. He hummed a soft tune to himself as he began the trek. His heavy footfalls left quite the path before he finally made it to the village.

There he lowered his burden, smiling to the inhabitants. His towering ursine form was always an interest to the children. How could it not? Most were humanoid, and the few aliens were nothing like the Beorni. He smiled kindly, nodding to the children. Answering questions in a playful tone and telling them of the Spirits that lived around them. Making a show as he sculpted snow into perfect replicas of the beasts who's hides he claimed. 'They'll melt by heat', he warned.

With their trophies in hand they left, leaving him to wander towards the main building to trade his hides for other things he needed in his treks. As always, he was just passing through.

A Pathfinder would emerge from the circular building at the Beorni's approach to welcome him. There'd be offer for him to sit by the fire or indulge in hot drink or meal even if the man chose to decline every time before then. They believed one should always ask in case the answer changed. No judgments or insistance was made unless the Beorni looked unhealthy and in need of care. Everyone walked their Path through life differently; every Soul had their own challenges or burdens to bear in order to grow stronger. It was not their place to force someone down a particular Path.

Shortly thereafter, another figure strode through the large entrance with her helmet off. Runi's hazel eyes gazed upon the towering, ten-foot tall man that wandered the wilds. "Welcome back, Sparking Stone." A discrete smile curled the corners of her lips upward. "The hunt goes well," Runi remarked regarding the hides the Beorni carried on his person.

Resa was a peaceful village nestled in the mountains where people could come and reflect on their spiritual process. Some even sought guidance where they should focus their efforts in body, heart, and/or mind. It was the purpose of the Pathfinders and Shaman present to provide such guidance, as well as oversee the direction of the Mandalorian people as a whole. Battle was instructive and brought many challenges to be overcome, but it was not all there was to living; a fact Runi spearheaded ensuring was not forgotten.
