The Heart of the Sith and The Shadow in house Chaf

A lone Gunship made it's way into Sarvchi Capital outskirts, this Gunship housed a particular visitor to this planet, his second time here actually.

"Bring us down on the Outskirts, i don't want any detections." Animus said to the Pilot of the Gunship he had nabbed only for this mission. This mission was a personal matter, a matter of the heart, this was no assassination, no intimidation tactic or of the matter. Animus was here to give the Woman who had his heart beating like a drum a surprise.
"Yes sir, good luck sir" The Pilot flew away knowing his ETA for extraction and the location he needed to be.
This was Sarvchi, the Capital of Sarvchi no less, the Place was a buzzling City much like Coruscant. Animus jumped from the Gunship and made his way through the streets straight to the Palace of [member="Chaf’anta’natrano"]
On to House chaf...
After a few hours of Walking and programming his Wristcom to attain the information of the Insides of house chaf he arrived, he would need those plans for his Navigation once inside.

Animus was dressed in a hooded black robe that covered his Sith Assassin Armor that he had brought not because he expected a fight, but because he valued its stealth capabilities, which this night would need a lot of . He knew his mission ahead could not count on the Force for help, Ysalamiri were everywhere, and he fully expected top of the Line Guard security so he was not packing weapons, but gadgets.
Zipliners, Crystal Slicing blades, Tranquilizer Gun instead of his blaster and black gloves with magnetism to be able to climb on walls easier, along with a bag of other tools he might need.

Upon arriving to the Outside of the House he quickly realized these were not visiting hours and the Security was even more stiff than he had previously calculated. Animus Smiled as he felt The Heart of the Sith inside his Armor, it's metallic core filling him with confidence and determination as he eyed the Fortress before him.
Like a shadow he was on the move, using every single trick in his Arsenal of Assassin tricks to get passed the main Gate... And that was just the Main Gate!

Quickly he started to make a survey of his surrounding, the guards walking pattern, the Shadows on the walls and the nooks and crannies of the outside.
He said a soft prayer to destiny. "May the force be with me tonight... in more than just my skill and my body, but in my heart and My spirit."
First thing's first... he needed to get inside, his heart was pounding fast and hard, not because of the mission or the possibility of death, but because of the person he was going to see.

When the Aristocra called for him, he was there. Either as an imposing faceless symbol of the Stormstrooper division, or either a fixed set of dark eyes who stood steps behind clad in black. Now, however, he was not needed and wore neither white armour nor black uniform. He stood; clad only in grey shorts, on the small balcony of his room adjacent to Fantana’s herself.

The city was something awe inspiring, much like the Chiss he served, and dusk was on the way in. Glancing over to her balcony, with a canopy over the top bearing her insignia, the distance between the two required a strong and purposeful jump. He could make it if there was trouble, but one wrong move and he’d end up scraped down the side of the fortress and end up mangled in the architecture below.

She was present in the room, doing what he did not know. Kyle was here only to protect her and ensure she was safe. The guards would have the Fortress, as they always did, and the armed squads would patrol her floor. Kyle wasn’t a guard of the Fortress, he was a guard of the Chiss Aristorca and be it on his head if anything happened to her.

The armour of the ancient First Order was pieced over his dressing table, helmet resting on the floor, E11 mounted on the wall beside it along with a secondary blaster. His black uniform of the Order was hanging inside his small wardrobe, and his casual attire folded, still unworn. He didn’t know how to be casual when he wasn’t serving. He was always serving. Her down time was more time for him to be aware of everything.

Looking over the city below, he flexed his fingers and let the warm air rake over his body, moving down to rest on his elbows as he thought what to do next. Read or try to sleep in the hours where little had happened. He was no good to Fantana if he was flagging. Glancing over again, he smiled gently wondering that powerful Chiss leaders did behind closed doors.

Animus moved like a shadow, the Twilight of Dusk, his cloak, as he made his way through the entrance of the facility, he still needed to get inside but found little to no entrances or openings in the first scouting he did. Moving from wall to wall, behind vehicles and under them too, moving around the compound unseen yet unable to find his way inside. Suddenly he saw an opening, a supply door near the back entrance, but the security was tripled and the men around the area were heavily armored and in patrol patterns.

Animus had observed these patterns while on the other side of the compound, he knew that they made about 130 yards before turning, and in between their patrol another patrol would enter their rear guard at about 60 yards, and behind that one, was the same.

Some in vehicles, some on foot all very, all well armed and prepared for any intrusion. Animus however, already had concocted a plan to get inside. Letting go of the bottom of the vehicle he was in, rolling under another vehicle and grabbing the under grill of the vehicle heading in the other direction.

Now he was gripped strongly under the vehicle and closed in to the back entrance of the Compound. always in motion, always in form he rolled out again and neared the entrance slipping by Guard patrol and the entrance guards walking beside a crew of Chiss men hauling a levitating crate of supplies and goods inside the Palace.

Once inside Animus made like a shadow and latched to the walls, he began to scale upwards behind the edge of a wall until searchlights began shining in his area, He did not move... he was like a black spot on the wall that the light scanned over but did not focus on. Once the light was away from him he continued moving, the Gloves providing him with the gripp he needed to continue his ascent to the second level.

Jumping from the wall grab he silently latched on to a railing on the second story right under a patrol of guards whose steps Anius heard clearly, because they less than a foot away from him, Looking down he noted the buzzing of movement in the first floor. He continued to crawl, appearing to defy gravity under the walkway of the second level, when he saw his chance, he popped up to the walkway and made his way into a room whose door was slightly open.

Upon reaching the inside, Two guards opened their eyes but were too late to stop two tranquilizer darts that landed in their necks. Flopping down in the floor, Animus quickly stuffed them inside the large room of clothing and equipment and covered them with the bed sheet.

Animus quickly opened the window to the outside, and began climbing from the outside to the 3rd story, gloved latching on to the windows and steel beams to make it to the third story. Upon reaching it, he pulled out a specific knife and not daring to look down he made a circle in the crystal then popped it open like a makeshift door. Sliding in, and putting the crystal back sealing it with a small lightless plasma pen he made his way round the shadows of the compound again. He put his back to the wall covered in a shadow as a Guard patrol walked past him not glancing his way.

The lightless wrist com gave him a feed of the compounds insides, now having the information and the data of the corridors and walkways, he quickly started to make a plan to reach the balcony of the Lady of house Chaf. A Smile crossed his lips as the shadows engulfed him as he moved through the walls, undetected...

Fantana was not the kind of woman who needed alot of sleep. Time was a luxury for the ambitious Chiss now that she was House Chaf's new Aristocra. The late hours of the night were used to catch up on private business. At the moment she was stretched out on her boundless bed, typing away on her Datapad in Zoosha fabric pajamas. Fantana, trained at the CEDF Academy, had a military background, and one of the skills her instructors insisted would come in handy for any Chiss looking to enlist in the CEDF was slicing. She was no Cryax Bane, but she got by with the working knowledge she had.

The Syndic's password was ridiculously easy to guess. The man was an egomaniac and like most of his kind, they tended towards insecure passwords as a result of their tendency to think themselves untouchable. Generally men like her Syndic secured their accounts with words like "KING" or "GOD." So it was only a matter of time before Fantana had full access to the Syndic's Holomail.

The Aristocra's thoughts flashed to [member="Kyle Amedis"], her bodyguard. She could see him in her peripheral vision, but had no worries that he would see or even care what she was doing. Despite his being provided by the Sith and being human, Kyle was turning out to be an excellent addition to House Chaf. He was stoic and obedient, and best of all, he almost had a sixth sense for discerning when she needed time to herself, which was often. However, as the eerie silence of the nighttime gave her an unpleasant shiver, she was grateful for his presence out on the palace balcony.

His eyes were on a large destroyer moving across the skyline, looking like a dot against the horizon but would be enormous up close. The city below was slowing down, and lights twinkled all around. Lights from the Fortress shone out and everything seemed normal. Kyle turned, glancing towards Fantana’s balcony before stepping back inside his room, leaving the external doors open for the evening air to blow through.

Leaning on a side table, Kyle glanced at the datapad provided by the Aristocra, but nothing abnormal stood out to him. He fingered the security feeds, a few random shots around the Fortress, and again noted little. A few guards on post, some not. As long as they did their duty he would save energy and time in order to do his when required.

Walking over the crimson rug on the cold floor, Kyle pulled back his bed sheet and climbed onto the soft bedding and lay on the pillow, arm under his head and he continued to look out of the window. Diegetic noise of Sarvchi was comforting, and he often looked out until sleep came. While he would often read, tonight he wasn’t feeling it. He wanted to do something, but didn’t know what, and that was his greatest irk – getting restless when he wasn’t tired but knew he had to get some rest.

Rolling his feet back and forward, he lay relaxed, looking over at his armour and the E11 on the wall, before glancing to the door leading to Fantana’s. There was no need to make conversation or check on her; he was at her call, not the other way around.

Animus found a storage room of the cleaning and janitorial workers, Getting to that storage room however, was not a simple task.
The storage room in question was at the end of the hallway opposite to him, and because of his wrist comm data, he knew where the security cam feeds were, and he had a detailed information on the rotation of the feed.

The cameras themselves had no openings, they covered 99% of the area, however this was not the weakness Animus was about to exploit on them, mainly because this was no weakness, there was no way to get to the storage area through the hallway without getting noticed by the security feed, so he would not move through that area, he had to get creative.

He jumped in shadows to the wall, and threw himself off the walkway, latched on by a line to get under the walkway, while hanging below the walkway he unstrapped his chord quickly enough so that passing guards would not see the line being pulled. Animus Smiled as he crawled under the walkway like a spider, defying gravity. Upon reaching half way through the walkway he saw his opportunity.

Four Chiss workers walked in the walkway each 8 feet away from each other, carrying a levitating crate of materials headed for the cleaning locker, Animus crawled under the Crate and began walking under it, each step making no noise, and because he crawled under it from the walkway right when the crate was over him the Chiss members blocked his sight from the cam feed, and the crate blocked him from their sight.

Once arriving inside the room, Animus heard them speaking to each other in attention as they lowered the Crate, Animus moved away from it unnoticed and little less than a black drape in the floor if looked at. Animus placed himself beside a clump of sheets and bedroom covers, looking like no more than sheet. Once the Chiss had left, Animus jumped on the moove, Removing his clothing apart from the Armor and placed it all in a Cleaning Equipment Sack, He was dressed in what was the uniform of the cleaning staff as he walked away from the Storage room, the Cap stuck deep so it covered his face.

Up the stairs, and inside the Lift to the last floors he was, luckily he had swiped one of the Lift Keys from the Chiss guards before they left. so the lift went up like a rocket with Animus inside, Cleaning equipment in hand, and all his toys and armor on the sack. Upon reaching the very high floors, he knew he was close, but his job was far from done. He noticed a room that was wide open, and that the cleaning crew had clearly not gotten to yet, the bed sheets did not look very organized. Without so much as looking up or both ways he made his way inside, not closing the door, but slightly nudging it so it closed half way with his heel.

Inside the room he raised the sleeve of the Uniform and beheld his Wrist com to take an Analysis of of the surrounding area, Fantana's Balcony was 5 stories ahead, and this entire floor and the ones above were beefed with extra security and cam live feeds on the inside, climbing up through the window was risky, not because of the Fall, but because he might be seen by the people inside the rooms through their windows like a giant shadow stuck on their wall. way too much attention. Animus however, did have a plan. but he needed to get a story upwards, and the lift to the next floor was only accessible through the private lift, using a special lift card, cleaning duty did not have clearance to have it or so it seemed, for only guards used the lift and the entire area was patrolled. Animus smiled inside the room. He had a plan.

Fantana, blissfully unaware of any disturbances in the Palace continued to work on her Datapad. In order for Hegemonic to manufacture an inventory of brand new custom-specced Chiss droids for House Chaf's personal army, the Aristocra had agreed to trade highly guarded Chiss tech secrets. However, it wouldn't be Fantana sending [member="Gerion Ardik"] of Hegemonic those secrets. The sensitive information would be sent by House Chaf's Syndic, Chaf’luxo’natrano. Fluxon was a detestable egomanic, as well as a huge thorn in Fantana's side. He opposed her at every turn and their power struggle slowed all House Chaf business to a Hutt's pace. She was eager to get rid of him, and this set-up was her chance.

In a few more clicks, she had sent the technological specs for the design of both Chiss Star Destroyers, Nssis-class Clawcraft, along with a half-dozen other crafts in development. Satisfied that the information would suit Gerion Adrik's needs, Fantana shut off her Datapad and crossed to the mini bar to pour herself a sweet brandy. She took her drink out on the balcony, savoring the night air. She cut her eyes sideways to Kyle's room, studying his moving shadow that was cast upon the privacy screen. It was too beautiful a night to have any regrets about framing her House's Syndic, so she simply took a deep breath, nursed her brandy, and enjoyed the glittering lights of the capital city.

With his eyes closed, Kyle wasn’t asleep; simply resting, as you do when you’re worn out but just not enough to descend into the land of nod. Sometimes you needed to close down a little and relax. Flexing his toes gently atop the bedsheet and shifting his head on his arm, Kyle felt rather alone at times. Not in the sense of companionship as he had never really had that since serving for the Imperial forces, but just being around activity.

He wondered what Commander Temi was doing now. He didn’t think she was dead, but to have her disappear from the unit he was welcomed into as a soldier did make him think maybe she HAD been silenced. Taken away, interrogated and probably made an example of. Treason, perhaps? From leading others and training recuirts in their base on Tatooine, to now relaxing on the comfortable bedding of Sarvchi, Kyle couldn’t plan his career direction.

Opening his eyes, there was still quiet from outside but it was broken by gentle noise from outside. Fantana was moving, and he could hear glass clinking down. Drinking away the pains of being an Aristocra. Fantana and Tmoxin would have been a formidable duo to bring Chiss and Imperial Sith forces together - both strong females who didn’t let their sex determine their actions, which Kyle admired.

He closed his eyes again to try and surrender himself to sleep for a good few hours.

Animus knew that taking out a guard, taking his clothes and lift card was a sure fire was of getting noticed by live cam feed that he had the information of and knew that there was no window of opportunity during the Cams movements, They covered all the area, all the time except the private rooms like the one he was in. Animus however looking up and scanning the room noticed the AC air ducts. In his wrist com he had the detailed intricacies of House Chaf, even the AC air duct locations.

Like a fly he jumped on the bed and removed the Air duct screen and jumped in, Once inside with his bag of goodies he started to crawl for various meters until reaching a rather Large Intersection of air ducts, a long way down to a giant rotating AC driver whose fall meant certain death, forward to the other side of the floor, or upwards in a steep climb of 3X3.

He started climbing through the Air ducts to reach the higher stories, suddenly... the heart of the sith fell from his holster, Animus reacted quickly splitting his legs to station his balance on the duct walls and dropping his body and arms down quickly reaching for the pendant and only grabbed it by a single finger... The first of many close calls this night would have.

Sweat dripping from his forehead he started to climb through the ducts again, his boots with rubber soles not to make absolutely any noise in his climb. The mumbling of Chiss people inside the ducts ringed like an echo while he climbed for a few minutes, at the end he saw the end of the duct arriving at one story before the final story of the massive complex. The air duct shaft finished in the middle of the walkway who were being patrolled by Guards... coming out of this Air duct hole would put an end to his mission.

The lightless wrist com was in his face again, he knew an air duct shaft was open to the right and then left and it gave way to another private room, however this private room seemed to be currently in use...

After a while of crawling to it, and arriving at the air duct beside the bed of the room, what was happening in the bed... made Animus almost laugh out loud... who said Chiss people didn't know how to make their partners happy? He shook his head, the couple was quite busy, and he had the chance of making it out of the air duct without them hearing him. Slowly crawling out of the duct, he put the metal screen back inside so no one would notice it's use. As animus made his way under the bed a piece of lingerie landed on his face, careful not to be noticed he could not remove it until he was under the bed, removing it he placed it right next to him.

He saw the exit, the Balcony window, and the couple fell out of bed twined together, luckily they landed on the side of the bed next to the Air duct, giving Animus the perfect chance to rise open the balcony door, close it back and shimmy out of sight to the couple, they did not even seem to notice or if they did they did not care.

Animus looked from the balcony.... quite a sight, Above him, exactly 1 story were two balconies, and his eyes caught the waving blue hair of [member="Chaf’anta’natrano"] in the one to the right, the one right above him however, Animus had no idea it belonged to [member="Kyle Amedis"].

Animus smiled, as his mission neared what looked like the end, and a satisfying one at that, just one more push, one more story and he was clear, his heart pounding in anticipation as a teenager who was about to pick up his date for the dance. Animus, again... Had a plan, but before he would execute it, in the balcony he got dressed, he was not about to see Fantana in a janitor uniform... But in his Sith Assassin Armor.

Fantana continued to enjoy her drink on her private balcony. There were little yellow flowers growing from the ivy that covered the balcony's railing, and the Aristocra paused every now and again to admire them. They reminded her of the Nabooian flower that was given to her by the Sith named Animus at her inauguration party, a Sith that she was hoping she could trust, if there was such a thing. Despite the One Sith re-occupation of Csilla, things were going well for House Chaf all things considered.

Besides, although her position was new, Fantana was fully accustomed to her current political situation. Although her hatred for them ran deep, the Sith had been a presence in her life since she was a girl, and she had realized that it wasn't terribly hard to navigate around them. Chiss space was but one of many pawns in their dejarik game, and her spies had relayed the information that they had turned their attention to the Expansionist Region of space. This inattention would benefit House Chaf considerably.

The stars fanned out before her glowing red eyes, the same stars that the great Thrawn himself gazed upon long ago. Fantana wondered to herself if like Thrawn, she might realize that what she could not beat, she would have to join. If she ever found herself exiled like the great Admiral, perhaps, she would put self-preservation above pride. However, her staunch vow to always put the Chiss people first would make it unlikely she would ever be loyal to any Sith.

His chest rose and lowered gently with each breath, and his eyes were closed. He was half-way between sleep and rest. That feeling when your body started to get heavy and you opened your eyes for a moment, but you’d been asleep for minutes however much it felt like seconds.

Twisting his head on his arm to face the window, the breeze warm as it came in, he reached down to pull up the sheet and sighed. The bed was vast and spacious, but too big for him; so much space to find a basic level of comfort. He opened his eyes for a second, taking in the room and view outside, glancing to his wrist com on the side table before closing again.

She was still drinking; he could hear her glass and it was strangely comforting knowing there was at least some other presence in the monolithic fortress he had to call home. Time to drift off again - it was easier hearing her, because he knew she was safe and active and not too far away.

Once Animus had finished dressing the part and his Sith armor was upon him shining and well adjusted he aimed his sights for the Balcony above him and aimed his Zipliner at it as it stuck with a very small *tick* into the bottom of it.
Quickly he strapped the Chord to his belt and activated the gas pump to bring him up to height.... Don't look down Animus. He grabbed the lower part of the balcony hanging on to a Durasteel vein sticking out out the under side of it. The Balcony was not made of Duracrete, the Balconies were see through, like Glass or Plastic crystals embedded with DuraSteel beams that made the Lights of the Massive Planet Capital dance around in them in a yellow and blue light show.

While hanging upside down Animus grabbed his Zipliner again and shot a line between the two balconies, it was not a far jump or a far distance but the Stealth aspect of this mission did not allow for that to be an Option. The Zipliner landed and enrolled in the Balconies' outer rail, and Animus pushed off to slide to the next balcony... only the cord snapped behind him.

Animus grabbed the cord that was holding on to [member="Chaf’anta’natrano"]'s balcony and held on for dear life as he started climbing it. The fall was easily a hundred stories high but he did not loosed his grip, instead he began to climb it in a steady pace until his hand could touch the railing.

It was the Time for his entrance, yet another close call again right now just before he arrived at his destination. Using his skills of movement he plopped up to Fantanas balcony, his heart pounding with the ferocity and power of a War Drum as he slowly removed his cloak and revealed his face with a nervous smile. His cloak plopped down on the railing as Animus slowly stepped forward, every step making his heart pound as hard and as fast as it never had. He knew it was possible for him to startle her, he had no idea how she was going to react to his presence but this woman was in his mind and thoughts just as much if not more than anything else.

Since he saw her in the Inauguration her demeanor and eyes were burned into his soul, he wanted to get to know her, he wanted to spend time with her, he wanted to make her his.... or vise versa. Like a passion and desire unquenchable by the Waters of time, he could not understand how such a short meeting and just a few minutes alone could have made such an impression on him to the Point where even in the presence of other women and given the chance to flirt, something Animus was and forever had been he held true to his thought of seeing her again. Women had always loved Animus and he has always loved them back but this was different... This was no Bedding of a Merchant's wife or the Night out in the Nabooian Lakesides... Something grabbed his heart about Fantana, something that had made him put his life at risk Infiltrating one of the Most well defended place in all of Chiss Space... But he was here now, and his eyes beamed as he gazed for what seemed like an eternity... on her figure.

[member="Kyle Amedis"]

Fantana heard a rustling in the ivy. She wondered if perhaps some of the House Chaf canaries had flown from their cages. Then, in a heartbeat, a shadowy figure suddenly sprang up over the railing of the balcony. The Aristocra's heart jumped into her throat and glowing red eyes widened in disbelief. An assassin had infiltrated the palace! She looked back over her shoulder at Kyle who was asleep in his room, then back to the intruder. Her blood ran cold when she realized who it was.

"Kteh! Animus!" she exclaimed with her brow bent in confusion. Don't show fear, Chaf'anta'natrano. Never show the Sith your fear. She had been tricked. The Sith had used her party as an excuse to suss out security holes, and was here to assassinate her. The flower, the kindness, it was all a ruse. Her heart beat wildly as she took a few paces back. She was unarmed, and while the nearby Ysalamiri protected Fantana from any Force attacks, he could easily shoot her or overpower her with his brute strength. Willing her voice to stay calm yet demanding, the Chiss addressed the Sith who had scaled her palace wall.

"Lord Malgus. What is this all about?"

Where the frell was Kyle? Surely her shouts would wake him.

Animus could sense the Fear and Surprise that his unexpected visit was procuring, however his fear was if nothing even more powerful, he could not hide it, it was that moment when Animus' great confidence and courage was really put to the test. He could stare down Terentateks, Giant Tuka'tas, the Blue Prophet, Darth Ferus himself but when it came to the woman he had his heart set on... It was a bit more complex than Animus would care to admit, his heart was pounding faster and harder with every slow and deliberate Step. His Smile was warm and genuine, filled with the carefree nervousness of a meeting with the lady.
"My lady" Animus stopped and stooped low for a cordious bow that turned into a kneel "I have not come here to harm you or cause you any wrong." Animus' eyes were drooped low and his voice was deep and a tone of repentance, then he arose from his kneel slowly and stood before her with all his Pride and confidence. "I promised you no harm would ever come to you if i was here in your Palace" Animus said with a smile and laugh as he stepped a bit closer to [member="Chaf’anta’natrano"] until only a few feet stood between them. Animus reached for his bag around his waist and held it out in his hands, his eyes sunk deep into the red orbs that had hypnotized him in such a way he had made it here. "When i met you the first time i remember i told you i was bold and i spoke my mind"

Animus said pulling out The Heart of The Sith in his Hands but never breaking eye contact... She was even more beautiful than he had remembered however Animus somehow someway found the way to speak his heart. " I have thought of you every day and every moment since we had met " He spoke this Chiss, he had made it part of his mission becoming fluent in the language since last time they had met, his arms trembling and he bit his lower lip in an effort to tame his nervousness. "From wars to conflicts, from moments when i had seen my death very close to moments where i am relishing in victory" He revealed the Heart of the Sith and extended it to her, it's glimmering colors were shining even at the blackest of nights. "I know this is not the ideal visiting Hours but " He smile and gave a chuckle trying to relieve the air as he reached out to grab her hands and place the Jeweled necklace in her hands never breaking his eyes with her. "A moment alone with the Lady of house Chaf, in order to bare my heart out to her... is all i want... Banish me, and i will go with the Shadows that i came with...."

His heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to bust out of his Chest, he intended to give her the Jewel, but also place one of her hands in his heart so she could feel it pounding as hard as it was, Ultimate proof of his words was the Pounding of his heart, never, even fighting beasts that could kill him in one swoop did Animus' heart Pound as hard and as Fast as it did right now. This was Fantana, the woman who to Animus' eyes... Made all the other women in the Galaxy, non-existent.

"Kteh! Animus!"

There was no reason to talk to herself, and any private conversation would be do behind closed doors. Each word was laced with a quiet shock and breathless fear – something one doesn’t do if expecting company. Fantana has been surprised by something she had not welcomed herself.

Kyle moved forward from the sheet at the same time his eyes opened, the heart inside him thumping as he dragged the sheet off over his leg as he bounded over to the far wall. Not for the armour or helmet or gown, but the E11 on the wall. A swift grasp with his left hand on the barrel had it up and he darted sideways out onto the cool balcony as his right hand caught the trigger and it was aimed over to the intruder. The click of his thumb activated the spotlight sight on the top of the blaster, a sharp glow of light shot forward to illuminate the intruder – the hooded Sith Kyle recognised from the party.

Fantana was stood with her back to him, but his brown eyes didn’t move from the Sith. His chest moved gently up and down with controlled breathing, knowing he would have to fire fast at the sign of hostility or the word from the Aristocra. He didn’t care he was stood in nothing but his sleeping shorts – this could be the end of his career in numerous ways if he failed. The Sith was already stating his claim being there, and that was failure on Kyle's part; he shouldn't have been able to get this close.

”You stop right there. Sith or not, I’ll drop you if you move an inch. Fantana, are you alright.”

It was a strict question and one he needed to confirm. His stance was solid, his trigger finger ready.

A brew of emotions stirred inside the Aristocra. Control was a highly valued asset to Fantana, and she was livid that the Sith had infiltrated the House Chaf palace. On the other hand, she still wanted the Sith as an ally, and she had heard stories that he fought against rebels on Coruscant, the very same ones who attacked Csilla. For Animus' displays of vengeance, she was grateful. As her admirer explained himself, the cold vacant stare endemic of the Chiss dominated Fantana's face.

When the Sith reached into the bag that hung on his waist, the Aristocra flinched, but when he procured the most stunning piece of jewelry she had ever seen, her posture straightened, eyes widening in curiosity. The necklace was a shiny gold chain ending in a pendant that shimmered like the night skies over Sarvchi. When the Sith pressed the gift into her hands, the Aristocra took a closer look at it. The gem was iridescent and the colors seemed to shift in her hands, changing before her glowing red eyes. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

"I don't know what to say, Lord Malgus." she told him. And it was the truth. Fantana was genuinely speechless. The Chiss were not a people who displayed grand gestures of admiration. They were a species who wed for convenient political arrangements, not romantic love, and in most parts of Chiss space, marriages were still arranged by the families. There was a certain part of the gesture that touched her heart, but romance was so foreign to the Aristocra, she was perplexed. Not to mention, if the other ruling families caught word of a Sith sneaking around near her bed chamber, House Chaf would be awash in scandal.

The Aristocra's sharp blue shoulders slumped in relief with the arrival of Kyle. As the cool air brushed over her body, she crossed her arms protectively over her chest.

"Thank you for the gift, my Lord, but I must ask you to leave. I will have my brothers arrange a meeting with you in the next few days. You will have my full attention then, I promise."

She had to be in control. She just had to. Always.

Fantana's gaze turned to her bodyguard. Her voice was crisp as she gave the stormtrooper her command. "Please show Lord Malgus out."

Her red eyes told Kyle that she was not at all pleased with the situation.

From behind the E11, Kyle looked past the sight to the large jewel in Fantana’s hand, and he wasn’t impressed by a token to buy affection. Such a Sith thing to do. He held the weapon on the intruder, even though it seemed both parties had a mutual understanding of each other, regardless of the less than welcome situation.

As the Aristocra turned to command him, it didn’t take a genius to see how irked she was, seemingly with Kyle more than this…Lord. Kyle stood back and nodded, lowering his weapon and moving back into his room. Cursing to himself, Kyle dropped the E11 and bended over to pull out black jogging bottoms and a black vest for his training, that would suffice to cover himself to get the Sith out.

Taking his weapon back in one hand, Kylebmoved forward, under a small décor archway and opened the adjoining door between both rooms. A small alarm started to beep, in the gap between the doors, and a quick code would silence it – once the trip-switch was activated on either door, seconds would count down until a siren would sound if a code wasn’t entered.

Now in Fantana’s room, Kyle avoided looking around and moved solely to the balcony, his E11 creeping into view again, this time held chest level. The Sith before him certainly looked the part, and who knew what tricks were up his sleeve. Trying to avoid eye contact with Fantana was hard enough, let alone to the fact he’s probably be in for a lecture.

"You heard the Aristocra. Come with me, Sith."

Everything did go... somewhat as expected, Animus was pleased with his abilities to reach the balcony of Fantana, however he still had one more trick up his sleeve. He took a bow to the Aristocrat and a slight sign of disappointment in his body language but a Crystal encasing was in his hand as he placed it over a small table. The Flower was one he found in the Highest Peak of a Mountain in Keisler V, Animus had spent hours looking in Tundra Biological Catalogues and found nothing, meaning that the Flower had never been discovered.... The Flower was Crystalline, it's petals were see through and transparent, the Crystalline encasing was also filled with Stone and Snow, with some Oxygen and a temperature where the Flower could survive.

"Of Course My Lady" His Smile and sigh denoting a particular tone of Sadness and Disappointment as he stepped towards Kyle, but he stopped and looked over his Shoulder to where Fantana was standing. "The days will seem endless until i see you again.." he said with a heavy tone, truth in his words more than she could tell. He paced next to Kyle shaking his head. "Your mistress was never in Any Danger... but should something happen to her on your watch..." His eyes locked on Kyle once they were out of earshot of [member="Chaf’anta’natrano"], they alone a warning.

When Fantana looked at the flower she would notice two particular Gemstones hanging from the Crystalline encasement, Animus Malgus had made her Two earrings of Pure Stygium found in Keisler V, each a looking like a tear droplet, the Crystal shining and waving it's internal mist. Her words did ring in his ears... She promised him her attention, that... Made Animus think that perhaps... maybe... This mission had begun something more.

"Move it and shut your mouth."

Kyle gritted his teeth as he reached and moved the Sith forward on the balcony refraining from sending the butt of the weapon across the bridge of his nose. He shifted position to stand behind him, effectively letting the Sith move first to keep the E11 on his back. He didn’t need a lecture from anyone about the risk and danger to the Aristocra by doing his duty, and nothing WOULD happen on his watch.

Be it said, there was obviously call now to move Fantana into the depths of the building or refrain a balcony by her room – that, or make sure there was nothing beneath her balcony for would be lovers or assassins to climb up.

The trooper moved the Sith on, leading him out of the room and soon into the bewildered stare of the Chiss guards taking laps outside on the floor she was on.

"You, come with me – we have an unwanted visitor and we are to see him out of the palace."

The Chiss led the way which would take in a number of corridors and two turbolift rides away from the supposedly secure floor and down to the ground level. In that time, Kyle would stick with the Sith and keep his bitterness down as they walked.

"You have a lot of gall for risking your neck just to hand over trinkets to the Aristocra. A futile gesture if ever I saw one."

Animus laughed, he understood the rage and frustration of the Trooper, and an E-11 on his back did not bother him in at least one bit. "You expect to bring terror to assassins in your undergarments? Oh yes Believe me i was petrified at the sight of such tight breeches" Animus knew his back talk would get him nowhere but he just had to. Laughing out loud he took the moment he was in the turbolift to get serious with the Bodyguard for just one second.

"I don't expect you to understand... where i come from gestures of the such and a young man sneaking into the balcony of the Woman he Admires is as common troopers snoozing on the Job is here in Savachi. " Oh he was pushing his buttons but he was just joshing. Truly he meant no harm by it, if anything his infiltration would cause House Chaf to multiply its security. Animus looked at him and Smiled genuinely but then his Smile turned into a Warriors Grimace.
"I mean no offense... But what if i was not an Admirer but an Actual assassin?... You do know you would have arrived too late... and you had" Animus coughed to hold back his smile. "Little armor, do you think you would have been able to stop me if i had wanted to Harm Fantana? " The Way he said her name was unnatural, it evoked the thought of her and the memory of her eyes and voice. Animus shook his head to remove the thought which at the moment brought him sadness. He had thought her to return his affection... it had not been so, an E-11 Blaster in his back and a beat down by Guards was little compared to what his heart was feeling at the moment. He half smiled again and tried his best attempt at an Apology. "I'm sorry... i just, i like to joke in the tense situations and..." He held out his hand to Kyle in a gesture of Friendship. "No hard feelings?"
He fully expected his hand to be knocked back, his head to be hit with something hard and solid, knocked out and dragged into a pit beaten senseless and other things of the Sort. Animus was not the Kind of man to offer a handshake.... but he did with Kyle.
