There is no Destiny, There is The Will of The Force
There is no Flesh, There is The Servant of The Force
There is no Fear, There is Faith in The Force
There is no Solitude, There is The Embrace of The Force
I am One with The Force, The Force is With Me
The Heart of Kro Var pulsed, the silk ends of Phaiden's robes riding the wave of energy as it filled the caverns like the echo of a god's voice. The Gatekeeper was seated still on the rocky floor, legs crossed and eyes closed peacefully against the vibrant glow of the towering crystals of Kyber above him. Carefully he reached out with his feelings...his soul beckoned into the flow of The Force that pumped through the veins of ore and rock as if the caverns themselves had come alive. The mantra of his Order repeated itself in his mind as he eased himself into the river of energy that coursed around him.

A leaf caught on the current of a river, his mind slipped from his body. All that he was had left behind the mortal form that carried out The Will of the Force and had become one with it - guided into the unknowable realm of which the divine entity resided, the existence that bordered the physical and the incorporeal.

All at once the river ended in a waterfall that cast his mind into a world that was not his own. He was not present in this world, nor was he absent - it was as if he stared at it from behind the eyes of an omnipotent being. Before him a figure sat in mediation and around him was a nothingness that was beyond the mere emptiness that a mortal could know. Its robes were black as a moonless night and as Phaiden watched the figure, tendrils of inky darkness slowly manifested from its form as if emerging from a pond. They lashed out in all direction and as they did the nothingness melted away...and from beyond that unknowable nothing the bridge of a starship appeared.

The tendrils faded past the bulkheads of the ship as if it weren't even there, reaching into the retreating emptiness and exposing the hulls of countless warships that stretched endlessly out of sight. At once, an acrid burning filled Phaiden's senses and as the last of the nothing faded into comprehensible vision, he saw dozens of planets - their surfaces ablaze with a fire that had no end. The smell of the searing worlds permeated far beyond simple senses and it felt as if the threads of his soul were being covered in the ashes of numberless burning beings.

He tightened his grip on The Force, bidding it to cast away the vision and guide him to his destination. At once the vision pulled him forward and he was thrown through the mirage of the starship's bridge, past dozens of burning worlds and hulking warships towards a single world. The planet was clashed between fire and ice, its white surface drowning in a sea of fire that pushed back the snow covered landscape. Closer he was pulled until he saw it - a glowing blue spot on the surface of the world.

Suddenly, he was gone from the world he was shown and surrounded by a blue glow...but he wasn't alone this time. Beside him was a woman...no a girl? Her eyes were covered by bandages and she wore a simple robe with a sword slung over her back...she looked at him and he looked at her...Phaiden reached out to touch her...but before he could her visage was slungshot away from him in the opposite direction until she had disappeared into the endless blue light.

Then the river flushed by him, carrying his mind away through the currents of The Force.

He opened his eyes and was found to be in silence. The kyber had died down to its usual faint glow and the Heart of Kro Var had similarly done the same...

It was more akin to a flash flood than a river.

In her quest to locate her ship and leave Mygeeto behind, Kassa had, unbeknownst to her at the beginning, wandered into the ruins of an entirely different world. It was immediately apparent once she entered and her hand brushed across the rough formations of what felt like crystal. In that moment her Sight became deeper.

And then all at once, it vanished.

Replacing it was a muddled darkness, not entirely blatant in its animosity, but she could feel it in the chill that touched her senses and seemed to permeate through to the core of her being. Soon enough it was punctured by a pinprick of light, one faint enough that she had to strain to feel it, brushing it with the barest edges of her awareness. That alone was enough to bring it sharply into focus, and again her worldview shifted.

The light surrounded her, not physically but in the way only her people could see, and to describe it as blinding would be both factually incorrect and do it a disservice. It was breathtaking, gracing her with an unnatural calm and serenity, quelling every nerve and bringing her breathing down to a slow, centered rhythm. It was peculiar, this light, something never felt even when she crossed paths with those who devoted themselves to such a path.

Slowly it all faded, the muddled grey again surrounding the light until it was nothing more than a glint in the darkness, forcing her to strain for it again until it was gone.

The sound of her own breathing brought her back to the present, and she reached outwards with every one of her senses to find nothing but the hollow emptiness that had surrounded her before. Forcing her breath to slow, she brought herself back down just as her mentors had taught her, pulling her awareness back into her body and flexing her muscles to remind herself that she was present.

Kro Var. She had never heard of the planet, but that was the final bid she had been left with.

Turning and exiting the gate, she made the trek across the tundra to her ship, keying the coordinates for a world she’d never heard of and taking off into the unknown.
