- Insanely unpredictable - The Harlequin appears to be completely insane for all intents and purposes, often doing the unpredictable despite all attempts to foresee his actions.
- Eerie - The Harlequin glows and appears ethereal, but can be physically touched. He appears like a hologram, but is not. The better to confuse others and to maintain the element of surprise in his appearances.
