Talon needed a long range weapon, he decided to design a diverse weapon that can blow a man apart from a mile away. The fragmentation bullets can destroy take thin layers down, but is more effective for securing kills. With the high velocity of the bullet it is hard to dodge at closer ranges (5000 ft/s).
