DATED TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO
Scientists and fellow bio-engineers coughed, the well-populated labratory of Balroyaal The Hutt filled with smoke. The fog of white originated from the Hutt himself, in all his over sized lab coat glory. A large pipe was placed beside him, connected to his mouth of which he puffed and exhaled often. He punched numerous calculations into the datalogs, his scientists examining forms of DNA and the best capable gathered, cramped even, to design his life's goal: A means to become stronger.

The hutt coughed helplessly, never bothering to cover himself. "Sir, you've been down here for weeks. Might I suggest a br-" The hutt looked at her. "..A wha-..no..please. What was that?" -- "A break, Lord Balroyaal. Even the mightiest require sleep to think prop-" The small intern suddenly found herself slumped to the ground, a sizzling bullet between her skull. He flicked the gone onto the table. The scientists paused, gazing at yet another victim of Balroyaal's hatred for sleep. "Anyone else.." He heard only silence, "I said..annNNYONE ELSE!? Kark the lot of you who think -I-, Balroyaal, needs sleep. We will work until completion has been achieved. Or die trying!" A young twi'lek scientist would present a transportable data log to the hutt. "Lord Balroyaal, if I may, we believe we've completed the serum."

Balroyaal ceased all physical operation, looking toward the twi'lek. "...Bring the subject here." A child twi'lek, in ragged clothing, was presented before the towering hutt. "Lay her.." The scientists did as instructed, laying the child on a metal surgical bed. "Bring the serum.." His brief demands were met. The glowing white substance within the syringe oozed lightly onto the metal bed beside the child, corroding the metal with faint sizzles. "Worry not, child. You are a means to a greater future..for us all." Without hesitation, he injected the small child with the serum. The glowing white substance steadily drained into her, the child crying all the while. Meanwhile, the young twi'lek woman could be seen gripping at her stomach with tears streaming down her face.

The hutt slithered backward, "Now. Witness..the new age of evolution." The small, strapped down twi'lek child began to sprout pulsating red veins. Said veins coursed throughout her small form, her very beat growing so audible even the hutt himself could hear it. Her small body was being forced into over-drive. Every cell in the child's body was being re-arranged, amplified and coated in a cloudy black and red substance. The child's natural blue pigment shifted to a sickening green, her physical stature growing exponentially. The child grew, and grew, snarls and screams of pain heard abroad.

Within mere minutes, the growing twi'lek's breasts grew, her entire body growing longer as if she had aged from childhood to adulthood within seconds. The child's clothing ripped, her more private regions thinly veiled by the remainder of her clothing. Her muscles were sculpted, her teeth turned a shocking yellow and her eyes brimming a haunting gold. "Yes .. I believe we've done it. Check her internals." The scientists proceeded to evaluate the transforming twi'lek. Her her-beat was stabilizing, accelerated from the serum's effects but considered normal from prior victim's status reports. The hutt slithered toward the suddenly curvaceous monstrosity. "Child .. tell me .. how do you f-"

Without hesitation, the twi'lek's nails curled over into claws, a brief lunge made toward the hutt himself. She slashed across his right eye, Balroyaal reeling back in pain as a result. "Y-..YOU KARKING queen!" He yelled aloud, the child's mother with drooped eyes forcing her will-deprived body to move towards the bathroom regions of the lab. After the mutated twi'lek began to grunt aloud, her enhanced physical conditioning found the strength to slowly began to break the leather straps pinning her down. The scientists joined to hold her down. "M'lord, her conditioning is worsening rapidly."

From a molecular level, the serum instilled an illness within the twi'lek of which she only had a 0.0005% of developing anti-bodies fast enough to counter-react and survive. The illness itself began to overclock her body to such far degrees that her individual cells were dying due to lack of resources to sustain themselves. Within seconds, the mutated twi'lek began to steam, her body beginning to corrode until only a pile of darkened green dust remained of her. The hutt witnessed this in its entirety, a hand held over his now scarred right eye. "Failure .. a ffaaaIILLLURREE! ANOTHER FAILURE!" The hutt declared in an outrage, flipping over various desks and generally everything around him.

"Why do I even bother ..." -- "TO HIRE THE LIKES OF YOU USELESS KARKING SCATTER-BRAINS." Once more, silence engulfed the entire scene. Without warning, a gunshot was heard from the bathroom region of the lab and a sudden collapse followed. "...." The hutt looked around for his twi'lek assistant, finding her missing. Odd. Everyone looked at one another, bowing their heads having known what occurred. "What are you all standing around for? Get to work! We'll start again! and again! AND AGAIN! I will achieve perfected perfection. No one will stand in my way. No twi'lek child, no karking pitiful twi'lek mother or the likes of you all. Feel free to join her if you'd like."

Suddenly, the staff resumed their designated duties. "Hmmph." The humming of something descending from the elevator heard. The automated doors slid open, a well-suited individual with slicked hair and two guards treading into the lab. He noticed the hutt's scar, "Looking swell as ever, Balroyaal." Kark, he thought. "What is it?" He questioned, folding his arms. "We've come to tell you you're in debt to us. We've come to collect." The hutt grunted, knowing this would occur sooner or later. In strides to complete the serum, he began to neglect his own crime organization and general obligations as a hutt. Money started to stack up, but not in his own account. "You'll receive your payment, surely enough. I merely need more ti-.." - "Ahah! More time. I never thought I'd see the day. A hutt pleading for money. You're a disgrace to your race, Balroyaal and either you pay with credits, or your life."

The hutt grunted, his gleaming bloodshot eyes panning across his staff. "Take 'em." -- "I'm sorry .. wha-" -- "TAKE 'EM. Every last one of 'em. Take my business, my women, to hell with it all!" The hutt's pride shattered then and there, his eyes trailing to the pile of dark green dust all over floor. His creations were to make, not break. "Just let me keep this lab. It's all I ask for.." His head bowed, the man laughing aloud. "Pitiful.." A month later, the hutt was found slumped over his large seat. "I've tried, and tried and tried! Nothing works!" He grabbed a recorder, "Log. The patient's body eats itself alive. Not even enhanced cell reproduction would counter-act it fully. The serum infects the patients with a series of dieases no recorded race has complete immunity to. Perhaps .. all hope is lost." The hutt dropped the recorder, grunting.--------------- "GRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

200 Years Later

Balroyaal Grudge rose his face planted body from the lab's research table. He spent the entirety of the prior night replicating his serum. However, this time around he had far less staff, resources and influence. The once hulking hutt was now a mutated abomination, his tendrils used to do his tasks as opposed to hands. The slimy creature looked at the brimming white fluid inside the liquid. "For the final ingredient.." He recorded into the outdated recorder. "My own DNA.." The hutt pulled out a tiny split containing some of his mutated and infected DNA, combining it with the serum itself. The serum, without fail, began to fizz, turning a bright red. Within a minute's time, the vial had turned a sickening pink color. "This .. my own DNA was the final ingredient. The remedy to this never ending trial and error."

Suddenly, he pressed a red button, a secret hatch containing a tied up and undressed male he 'acquired' during his return to Rutan seen squirming within his constricted space. The Grutt pointed his gun at the male, "Raise, and sit on the metal bed." The tied male shook his head, screaming a series of curse words behind his tied mouth piece. The Grutt slithered over to the male, grabbing his tendrils around him and dragging him. "You karking waste of existence. DO AS TOLD!" He slammed the male onto the bed, tying him onto the bed with leather straps buckled together. "Now..was that so hard?" His 'subject' squirmed. Meanwhile, Grudge slithered back to his serum and picked it up. Carefully. Slowly. Delicately. The serum itself was logged, ingredients and proportions and all, for future replication as all the others were. With the serum, Grudge made way to the subject and gripped his arm. "To a new age of evolution." The pink serum was injected into the male, Grudge slithering back to his machine to check his internals and status reports.

The male's coverings were removed, his body starting to bulge whilst pulsating red veins ran throughout his form. He shot off a series of curses, his body jerking in all directions whilst the serum took its course. Immediately, his body was invaded by the infection the serum held. His body began to distort and grow, or shink in various regions. Simultaneously, the anti-bodies and tolerance toward this infection Grudge's DNA held was injected into the subject as well. The subject's cells were engulfed by a black and red substance, used to individually force his cells into hyper-drive. His body began to expand, grow and become more toned while taking on the color of a sickening green. "Can you feel it, boy? Your body re-constructing itself, accepting its true calling."

Grudge continued to watch, the subject's heart beat spiking to dangerous limits. From a molecular stand-point, the subject's cells were being re-constructed, re-taught, he restructured. The hyper-drive of his cells forced the boy accept an enhanced physical conditioning. His strength, durability, and endurance would be sky-rocketed to new heights. Immediately after his transformation, the anti-body instilled into his body would begin to seize the infection that the serum provided, taking it by the root and slowing down its decaying process. This is what would keep the mutant from turning into a pile of dark green ash immediately. "Estimated time until the infection breaks down the body: Seven .. Eight .. to ten years," He recorded.

The now hulking mass of muscular green lied limp on the bed, gasping for air after screaming for the duration of his transformation. Just as quickly, he began to scream once more, gripping at his head. The serum was re-wiring his brain. Numbing his mind and extracting what gave him a personality, what gave him most of his own unique thoughts. The serum wired the brain to act on one accord: Whatever Grudge instructed it to do. It instilled complete and utter obedience towards its master and a slimy black and red substance could be seen engulfed about the entire mutant's brain. Afterward, Grudge's eyes bulged, spectating in silence while watching the heart-beat stabilize to what was recorded to be average for an enhanced mutant heart-rate. Though from a molecular standpoint, the mutant's body was decaying, it didn't occur immediately. It would slowly occur over the span of ten years.

Grudge cleared his throat, "S-...stand." The mutant, without hesitation, lifted itself, unintentionally snapping the leather straps like twigs and turning his body to touch the ground..for the first time. The mutant stood tall, arms dangling before it as it breathed heavily whilst standing 3.65 Meters tall. Grudge found himself speechless, for once. The decades, centuries spent developing the serum, perfecting his craft in bio-engineering and research had seemingly payed off in the form the mutant that mindlessly stand before him. "I am Balroyaal, your master. You will adhere to my every command without question." --- "I adhere. No question from Master," The beast spoke in jumbled speech.

The Grutt lifted a large piece of glass, moving it before the Mutant. "Witness, a new age of evolution." The Mutant lowered its gaze blankly into the glass, staring at itself. However, it only grunted, wondering if the glass was a potential thread or not. "Lost for words, are we? Gruhaha..I know the feeling, my lovel-" From inside his lab, a bleep of red went off. "What in the kark-" A surveillance feed displayed four armed scavengers cracking into the cave-wall designed automated door. Grudge cursed to himself, looking around for a gun. "Now of all karking ti-.." He paused, looking at the mutant. "Actually..Mutant, this is where you can show me how effective you are. Retrieve those four significant bastards and bring 'em down to me. I get the feeling you'll be having a family reunion, soon enough."

MUTANT

The Mutant nodded, "I get bastards for Master now. Fast." The green monstrosity walked up to the first floor, standing into the massive 50 person-cap sized elevator that was meant for Grudge in his hutt days. This elevator led up to surface, where the auto-mated cave wall kept it hidden. "The Mutant will adapt to combat. Adopting new means to terminate the threat by physical means. This should be exciting." By the time the band of scavengers cracked into the automated cave-entrance, they were met with darkness. The took an initial step into the pitch-dark and cramped cave corridor. Suddenly, two pupils of a haunting yellow emerged from the darkness, large stomps heard with a fear-inducing roar heard as the Mutant charged toward the band of scavengers. Suddenly, the scavengers were seen flying out of the cave-entrance, hitting the ground, some dazed and others gripping at their fire-arms. "What in the hell is that thing!?" The Mutant found itself too large to fit through the entrance. It's objective, however, was clear. The cave entrance stood between it and its orders and thus a mental adaption occurred on spot: Destroy the Cave Entrance.

The scavengers were met with the sight of a sickening green monstrosity ramming its body into the entrance, blowing it to pieces whilst freeing itself. The scavengers wasted no time in firing off blasters toward the monstrosity, The Mutant raising an arm toward the two firing at him, the other two blown into unconsciousness from earlier. The blaster shots merely caused its skin to sizzle as opposed to rip entire holes into it. It would take more than that, it seems. The Mutant charged toward the two, gripping both beings by their stomachs and lifting them with ease. He then slammed them into one another, watching their heads butt brutally and their unconscious bodies slumping to the ground. The mutant was ordered to retrieve, not kill.

Grudge, minutes later saw the Mutant dragging four slumped bodies across the ground and before him. "Well .. Well...you made short work of them. Good. Throw 'em onto the metal beds." As instructed, the bodies were placed on their own metal beds. A total of two weeks would pass, Grudge finding himself with a total of 5 replicated pink serums. Reproduction proved easier than initial production. In short, the serum was refined for better performance. Within a two week time frame, the mutant was placed into a fluid tank and tested, genetic samples taken, examined and recorded. The only thing he couldn't remedy for the mutants were hair loss and the broken dialect that the mind-numbing serum forced them to speak in. Despite this, Grudge injected the serums into the enslaved subjects captured two weeks.

One by one, they began to undergo the changes. The growing, the screams, the green color. The obedience. Within an hour's time, Grudge found himself with four more mutants in their respective fluid tanks. "Log. The mutants have been shown to communicate with one another through a series of grunts and broken basic language. They cooperate and all act on one accord. Except the first mutant, however. It has taken a sense of dominance above the others. I believe this one is to be terminated and proven ineffective." Grudge pressed the red button, four liquid tanks opening and four pairs of sickening yellow eyes awakening. Each mutant, similar in appearance, stepped out from their tanks and looked toward Grudge. "Give us command, Master Balroyaal," they said in unison. It was then that Balroyaal saw the true future of his completed mutant serum. This would issue a new age for both technology and working force. Mindlessly obedient soldiers of war and destruction. It was everything he wished for. Everything he once died for. But like his mutants, this was a new age..in evolution.

The Grutt extended his tendrils high into the air, gleaming red eyes reeled upward as he laughed maniacally.

"Greh..Greha..Grehaha...GreHAHAHA...GRREEHAHAHAA!! GREEEHHAHAHAA!!!!"

END~
