Echani Molecular Compression Tech: Much like the [SIZE=9pt]naast’beskad[/SIZE] this hilt can shrink from shoto like size to a staff or light pike variant size, and in between, with the press of a button using molecular compression technology. This is favorable to achieve this rather than a hollow, telescoping haft which has many undesirable constraints for the increase in durability in a melee fight.

As one ages as a warrior, one begins to see skill over tricks, and wisdom over frills, and so it was with Julius. Indeed the only skill or trick with this is the secondary emitter, and the echani molecular compression technology, and those only serve as an entrance to the various fighting styles and techniques the Corellian has mastered. Vulnerable to many things, the humility represents a departure from hubris and a return to his roots.
