Tiland cracked his knuckles in thought, peering down at the small brazier on the low table at the edge of the garden. He'd already raked the gravel stones into the proper shape and alignment, and a small fire was burning in a brazier, slowly heating the water inside.

It had been a long time since he and Julius had crossed paths, and it would be good to see him again. They were both older now, perhaps wiser, and he looked forward to catching up. What was the news from Corellia or the Green Jedi?

And perhaps it was a chance to finally stretch his skills for the first in a long while. Teach was helpful for the basics, but he'd found very few duelists of Julius' caliber that qualified as a blade master. It made genuine training quite tricky. But he would have to see how Julius was feeling first.

There was a chime in the main foyer below and he sat up, head tilted to listen; that sounded like it would likely be Julius. It wasn't hard to get up to the central meditation garden. In through the front door and up the roofed exterior stairway.

He spread out a variety of herbs, fruits, and other flavorings for tea ingredients, considering them thoughtfully.

Tiland... Over the years they had been constantly in orbit of each other, but never as close as say he and Jorus or himself and Bryce. When the invite for tea had came, Julius had accepted graciously, but without a return vid. Not on purpose, but just out of habit. He had become sensitive about his age and his decline in combat, and now that his youth was restored, old acquired habits had held fast despite conscious effort to shift them.

So it was he had wound up knocking on the door of one of his last friends, dressed in his Aing-Tii armor with a Corellian cut longocat over it. Though he knew Tiland didn't often drink 'full lead' as Julius called it, the Corellian had brought some Wyren's Reserve and a small flask of Absinthe Aing-Tii to share as a gesture of hospitality. As well as a satchel or herbs a Jedi on Corellia assured him were a planet specific delicacy grown only in the gardens of the Green Temple and quite rare.

Walking up as no one answered and Tiland wouldn't likely mind an old friend doing so, Julius entered the Gardens with a slow, steady gait, and smiled a dazzling beam of actual joy at seeing the elder before him.

"Tiland old friend, good to see one of the old Rebels"
