"Okay, mum." Though she did feel the need to protest one little small thing, "I wouldn't adopt all of them, just the ones with extra sharp teeth and claws." Yes, that totally was bound to make her mother feel better about the situation, and her habit of falling in love with an animal, on sheer danger and power alone, before any other trait. "They're cute." She said sweetly as she headed out the door. In her eyes, nothing could be cuter than a vicious creature like that. Then again it just might have been the sheer power of things like that, that the redhead found so magnetic.

Smiling she headed back to her room to pack her belongings for the trip. The redhead was quick to find some clothing that she would not mind getting dirty or ruined, should it come to that. After all, one never knew what could happen in the great outdoors! And of course the girl grabbed her bow and arrows, as well as her shatter pistol. The hold-out bolter was something she always kept on her. One never could be too safe, especially in this galaxy.

It honestly, didn't take her long to find everything she wanted, and soon enough with her bag packed, Galina flopped on the bed, smiling happily. It'd be time away from the city, and it'd be quiet as well as peaceful. The great outdoors, was just a second home to her. That she looked forward to very much. Though, she did have her uncertainities about Tegaea. Only time would tell there as to how it would work out.

A sigh escaped Siobhan's throat as a feeling of exasperation washed over her. "There are many nice animals out there that aren't ferocious predators with extra sharp claws strong enough to shred a human," she said with a bit of a huff, shaking her head, though she did not sound angry. Galina's love for dangerous animals was at times a source of amusement, at others of expasperation and concern. However, her daughter was just too endearing for Siobhan to be cross for long.


So she gave her daughter a pat on the shoulder and then went to her room, where Tegaea was. Limping towards her wife, she wrapped her arms around her. "I agree. We really need it. Too much time spent with business deals and galactic problems I don't care much about. You're doing really well, I appreciate it," she said sweetly, planting kisses on Tegaea's neck. Is it treacherous that some of my thoughts are still with Mirien? Wondering how she's doing...how Galina and her would get on, the question inside her mind went unanswered. "We'll have plenty of fun. Just need to stop Galina from adopting every predator she finds," she joked. "You look real sexy in your fatigues."

"Why thank you! Of course, you always look sexy," Tegaea replied sweetly. Nothing like a bit of flattery to help matters!

"I think we just need to accept the inevitable...she's going to adopt something whilst we're away, Let's just hope it's not going to be a Nexu like Coryth!"
She didn't sound too certain though!

The redhead soon shed her clothing and prepared for bed. After all, there was an exciting day waiting for all of them tomorrow. Galina soon curled up in bed with a nice book, and pulled the covers tightly around her. It didn't take long laying there under the warm covers, reading her book for the young woman to fall asleep.

Morning would soon come. The first rays of sunlight peaking through her curtains. Galina tossed and turned for a moment, trying to ignore the rising sun. But that wasn't so easy. Finally giving up, the redhead through the covers back and set about getting ready for the day. Undoubtedly her mothers would be doing something similar. Maybe. One never knew with their special prayer sessions and book clubs.

And so Galina's two mummies went to bed after a vigorous prayer session. After all, it was always a good policy to make obeisance before the Goddess and thank her for her favour. Somehow this intersected with plenty of sexual intercourse, but then it was known that the Goddess was no stranger to the pleasures of the flesh. Fortunately, Siobhan's injuries were bothering her less than before, so she was able to enjoy herself a great deal.


However, soon morning came. The first rays of sunlight peeked through the curtains and illuminated the bedroom, falling upon the large mistress bed. Siobhan was not much of a morning person, so at first she tried to avert her eyes from it. After all, the pillow was so comfortable and Tegaea was such a nice blanket. The feeling of her head on Siobhan's impressive chest was also pleasant. However, then Siobhan finally remembered that they wanted to go on a camping trip today and decided to stop lazing around. Finally stirring she rubbed her eyes as she got used to the light, then stretched and gave her wife a kiss. "Morning, love. Ready to go out camping?" she spoke, suppressing a yawn.

Tegaea, whose devotion to the goddess the previous night had been particularly fervent, was a bit slower rising. However, waking up in the arms of one’s wife was an exceptionally good thing. Rousing herself with difficulty she peered blearily at Siobhan.

“Camping? Wha…oh, yes of course! Let’s get going!”

Getting to her feet and stretching, she stumbled off towards the shower. She didn’t want to disappoint her daughter. Some tea might be handy to make sure she didn’t fall asleep early too!

Siobhan was quite happy about the fact that Tegaea was so fervent in her devotion to the goddess. In the last decade or so she had become a very religious woman, for she knew that not every hole in one's life could be filled with materialism. Bonding time in the name of the goddess was important for one's healthy and wellbeing, both physically and mentally.


She could not help giggling slightly when Tegaea stumbled off to the shower. Undoubtedly she would be disciplined for that. "You're sooo cute right now. I'll go make you some tea, dear," she said and then finally stopped lazing around and got up, limping towards the kitchen. She made a mental note to water the orchids before leaving the house. Likewise she would give the maidens order to make sure that Mirien's orchids received all the water they needed while they were away since she had promised to take care of them.

Galina got her usual shower and quickly got dressed. Already she could hear russling about the house, meaning at least one person already was awake. At least she wasn't the only one! After one last check of her bags, making sure she had everything Galina slung it over her shoulder and the picked up her bow, and quiver before heading downstairs. Both she dropped off at the front door before finding her way into the kitchen.

"Morning Mum." She said sleepily to Siobhan as she leaned heavily against the counter.

After a good few moments in the shower Tegaea started to wake up a bit. Finally, stepping out, drying off and getting changed, she felt she could focus on the day ahead.
"Right, so...tea," she muttered, heading to the kitchen.

There she found Galina and Siobhan. "Morning, Galina!" she said heartily. By now the tea was brewed and she took a cup from Siobhan. "We...uhh...won't be too long. Had a late night, you know," she said evasively.

"Hi, angel. Slept well?" Siobhan said warmly, giving her daughter a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She was quite tired too, but still seemed chipper. Then Tegaea stepped into the kitchen. "Yeah, long night. Packing, saying thanksgiving to the Goddess and stuff," she said. Someday we need to give her the birds and bees talk, she thought to herself, then sipped her Atrisian green tea.


"We'll be ready soon, dear. I'll get dressed and then water the plants a last time before we leave." It had been made very clear that she would be displeased if any of her orchids died in her absence.

"Morning Mum," She said to Tegaea, and nodded understandingly at what her parents explained happened last night.

"I did. Was a good sleep, with good dreams." She said with a soft smile, "Still a little tired though."

Then a most interesting idea popped into Galina's mind and she had to share. "One of these days, do you guys think I could come with you to these prayer sessions? I'm a little curious about the religion." The redhead did have some natural curiosity about that.... If only she knew what prayer sessions and worshiping the Goddess really meant.

Tegaea’s eyes shifted quickly to Siobhan. This was one of those moments in every parent’s life.

“Uhh…sure. No problems. We have a shrine in the main room which we use. I’m sure you won’t find it very interesting,” she explained.
Maybe that priestess can help us… Tegaea thought to herself. The one starting with E.

After all, it wouldn’t do for Galina to see the sorts of rites they’d been performing the night before. Might be a little…awkward.

Siobhan felt a bit...awkward, but Tegaea took the initiative. "Sure, we can do that, dear. There's a Priestess who's a good friend of ours. She can help explain the...religion to you." It required lots of self-control for her to resist the urge to giggle. The secret rites were definitely not something for Galina to see. Maybe. Well, she'd probably be scarred for life.


Hopefully she would not learn about them through a Sio/Tegs sex vid that somehow got onto the 'net.

Galina glanced sweetly between her two mothers. "I'd like that." She said quietly. "And you'd be surprised what I find interesting." If only she knew..... If only.

"That would be great," Galain said with a nod to Siobhan. "Just curious is all. I hear about it elsewhere and well ... yeah, I can't help but wonder." Perhaps the young redhead was just a little bit too naive. But growing up on a deserted arctic island, one couldn't expect that she knew much about these things.

Tegaea shared a glance with Siobhan. However inquisitive their daughter was, it’s doubtful she’d appreciate the real rituals.
Perhaps they could distract Galina from that line of inquiry with this camping trip. Clearly Tegaea had not factored in the usual redheaded stubbornness to find answers!

“Anyway, we’d best get going!” Tegaea said brightly, hoping to shift the discussion along. Heading up to get ready she dressed and gathered up the bag she’d packed the night before. For this little expedition she was wearing her old fatigues with only a little makeup. It was as natural as she got these days, and it showed she was committed. These days she wasn’t as willing to live in a muddy tent, but she’d do it for the family!

Siobhan gave Galina's shoulder an affectionate squeeze. "You'll have lots of time to learn all the things. For now...we've got a camping trip. Lots of fun animals," she said brightly, then having presumably finished a quick breakfast headed out of the kitchen. However, she did not go to her bedroom immediately but instead tended to her orchids on the windowsills. Orchids were simply lovely! So was their beautiful scent. Well, Siobhan thought so. Having filled a can with water, she began watering them. "Mummy's going away for a couple days, girls. But no worries, Harmony's gonna look after you well. Back in a few days. Going camping with the family," she said warmly. Yes, she actually talked to her flowers.


After watering them and putting the can away she walked up to get ready. Tegaea was already dressed and so Siobhan likewise slipped on her old fatigues. For a change she also only applied a little makeup. Dressing like a fashionista would obviously be silly whilst out in the desert. "Those trousers really make your butt look good. Come on, love," she said affectionately, being unable to resist the urge to roam a hand over Tegs' toosh before giving it a smack.

Galina nodded, and rose to her feet. For the moment this might have worked to distract her from questions about the religious rites her parents took part in. "True, I guess we should be heading out then."

With that thought in mind she left the kitchen and headed to where she had left her bags for the trip, by the front door. There she waited patiently for her mummies to finish getting ready and join her. Without a doubt this was going to be fun for all of them.

Siobhan speaking to her plants was not unexpected. Indeed, Tegaea thought it was rather endearing. She just hoped she didn’t start speaking to inanimate objects!

With the two women now looking like cast offs from a military surplus store, they grabbed their bags and headed to the speeder.

“Let’s go, Galina!” Tegaea said enthusiastically. She put an arm around her daughter’s shoulders and led her out to the speeder.

She decided to let Siobhan drive today, with Galina in the front passenger seat whilst she sat behind. She didn’t usually do this, she was someone who considered themselves a ‘front seat’ passenger in life, but it was a day to be humble and show interest in others.

“Ready when you are, love!” she told Siobhan.

Siobhan was quite happy to drive. She would even try to keep the speed limit in mind. Along with the fact that there was a child with them in the speeder. Well, presumably Tygara did not have speed limits since speeders were an innovation the natives had only recently been introduced to and they did not have the technology to manufacture them. "Sure thing, sweetie," she said brightly, sounding extremely cheerful and chipper.


So she powered up the engines of the craft and after a moment the speeder shot through the air. It was not going top speed because Siobhan was worried this might scare of unnerve Galina. Their little girl had come a long way since leaving that awful island, but she could not help being protective of her.

The young redhead smiled brightly as Tegaea put her arm around her and led them outside. Truth be told the close contact with her mother was something she did crave, still needing to be wanted comforted, and assured that there were people out there that cared for her, and that she wasn't alone. It was something she needed from both mothers.

The speeding honestly, did make her a little nervous. Less so than it had in the past, but still it was hard not to feel the knots forming in her stomach as they lifted from the ground and took off. Thankfully Siobhan was taking things slower which helped a fair bit.

Soft blue eyes scanned over the scenery as they passed by, taking in every last detail she could. Something she found took her mind off of being in the air and what potentially could happen. Just a simple distraction from her thoughts, tended to work these days, keeping the teen from getting too antsy and worked up about flight.
