Kammia
A remote Wild Space colony world in the Drynn system, Kammia was a Human agricultural settlement later devastated during the Ssi-ruuvi entechment campaigns. The Empire concealed its fate with a fabricated mysterious virus quarantine cover story, masking its use as a sacrifice to alien forces in exchange for entechment technology.
Quethold
An Unknown Regions world inhabited by the insectoid Quesoth, organized into a rigid tri-city caste system (Black, Red, White Cities). Each city cycles leadership through a ritualized changing of air, and the planet is historically tied to internal civil manipulation, foreign intervention, and Imperial-era conflicts involving Thrawn-era forces.
Makatak
Makatak was a planet within the Rakatan Archipelago. Following the collapse of the Infinite Empire, it was inhabited by an enlightened tribe of Rakata called the Makatak tribe.
Lequabis
The Lequabis system was a remote star system located in the freestanding subsectors portion of the Expansion Region. The system contained at least one gas giant–type planet.
Donadus
Donadus was an astronomical object located in the Donadus system, a part of the Inner Rim's Bamula sector. It shared its name with the sentient species Donadi.
Bardotta
A spiritually significant Cold Climate world in the Colonies, Bardotta is known for its strong connection to the Living Force and its mountainous terrain. It became notable during the Clone Wars for the disappearance of its spiritual leaders, prompting an investigation involving Jedi Master Mace Windu and Republic representatives.
The first major world under Sith Covenant influence. Customs inspections, military checkpoints, and anti-smuggling patrols are common. Traffic congestion and political scrutiny make this one of the most dangerous administrative bottlenecks on the route.
Fondor
A major industrial Core-adjacent world famous for its massive orbital shipyards, Fondor is one of the galaxy's premier shipbuilding centers, rivaling Corellia and Kuat. It has built everything from starships to Executor-class Super Star Destroyers, and is heavily industrialized with orbital drydocks dominating its economy.
- Speed: High
- Accessibility:
Travel becomes significantly more complicated near Bardotta and Fondor. Sith Covenant authorities maintain customs checkpoints, military patrols, cargo inspections, and transponder verification programs throughout their territory. Unauthorized vessels frequently experience delays, searches, tariffs, or outright denial of passage. Outside Sith-controlled space, the route is generally considered open to all legitimate traffic.
- Route Hazards:
Sith Covenant Enforcement
The single greatest danger along the route is political rather than environmental. Bardotta and Fondor host aggressive customs authorities, military patrols, interdiction craft, and intelligence operatives seeking smugglers, spies, dissidents, and unauthorized military shipments.Unknown Regions Navigation Drift
Although Morta Bota's surveys established the route's stability, portions near Kammia remain vulnerable to subtle gravitational shifts originating from the Unknown Regions. Outdated navigational data can result in inaccurate micro-jumps and dangerous course corrections.Pirate Opportunism
Criminal organizations have begun targeting aid convoys and industrial shipments traveling between Kammia and Donadus. While piracy remains uncommon, the value of cargo moving along the route continues to attract attention.- Rest Stops:
Quethold is a volatile Unknown Regions waypoint defined by its Quesoth tri-city caste system and ritualized rotating governance, acting as a controlled but unstable transition point deeper into uncharted space. Makatak is a Rakatan Archipelago world inhabited by a surviving Rakata offshoot, offering access to ancient infrastructure and unstable but valuable industrial resources.
Lequabis functions as a lightly developed Expansion Region refueling and navigation stop centered on a gas giant, serving primarily independent freighter traffic. Donadus is a transitional Inner Rim system in the Bamula sector, acting as a final low-regulation waypoint before Coreward oversight increases.
Beyond Donadus, Bardotta becomes a strict Sith Covenant chokepoint, with heavy customs inspections, military checkpoints, and severe congestion despite its status as a spiritually significant Living Force world. The route ends at Fondor, a premier Core-adjacent shipyard world capable of full-scale refits and capital ship construction.
The Great Kammia Run was discovered by
After months of survey work and repeated validation runs, he successfully charted a stable hyperspace corridor stretching from Kammia to Fondor, creating a direct link between the frontier and the Core Worlds. The route's importance grew rapidly as merchants, explorers, and settlers began using it to transport supplies and personnel between distant regions of the galaxy.
Traffic along the Run varies significantly depending on location. The Kammia-to-Donadus portion remains relatively open and lightly policed, making it popular with traders, prospectors, and exploration fleets. By contrast, Bardotta and Fondor fall under the control of the Sith Covenant, whose warlords maintain customs checkpoints, military patrols, and strict cargo inspections.
Travelers entering Covenant space often experience delays and increased scrutiny, particularly if transporting valuable goods or operating under unfamiliar transponder codes. Despite these challenges, the Great Kammia Run remains one of the most reliable routes connecting the Core Worlds to frontier territories.
