Weaknesses: Slow, Animal intelligence, short sighted, Agressive to such an extent that its existance is a sheer pain to observe for anyone with a good heart.
Distinctions: Huge swelling muscles, tusks, gray dead like skin, terrible smell...
Average Lifespan: No one knows.

History: It is said, the Garguanta was one of Sempra the Hutts strongest body guards. Hand picked to be test subject for the knuur drug in an early stage of its development. The idea was to create a blood system with a cocktail of stim boosts, medicine and Knuur. They thought they would create the ultimate soldier. Strong, loyal (needs knuur)and with remarkable healing capabilities. It all back fired immensly and the guard suffered severe physical and mental deformation. Once his blood had bern exchanged his system collapsed and he went through a painful transformation, which short cuted his brain leaving a drroling large overgrown gamorean.
He was deemed a failure and was put to death in the test lab by a shot in his chest. However, To the scientists delight the beast awoke, seemingly from death, one day later, attacking everyone around him, shattering the lab and killing half a dozen Nikto enforcers before he was finally subdued by a powerful force field. further studies revealed that the beast was addicted to to Knuur and seemed to have grown to great hpysical strength albeit loosing its once "natural intelligent capabilities." The Garguanta had an accelerated healing ability, allowing its body to recover rapidly from lighter wounds within seconds and even severe wounds within hours. Although not immortal he can take a beating far worse then most hard boiled gamoreans.
He does not grow new limbs but to sever an arm would require something extreme, light a lightsaber, due to the Garguantas tough skin in cojunction with its healing.
The scientist brought the news to Sempra and adviced him to feed the beast more of the not completed drug. Sempra approved and made sure he alone was in the monsters sight as the drug was delivered. Whenever the drug was given the Beast felt a single moment of peace in its otherwise torn state of maddened fury. By adding the scent and image of Sempra whenever that drug sensation was delivered the beast is now attuned by instinct with Sempra as the only positive thing in its existance.
Sempra holds the beast in the beast pens of the White Palace, bringing him out to kill something for the Cartels amusement at times.

Intent: The Garguanta is meant to serve Sempra and the Cartel RP to enhance the canon athmosphere of the cruel Hutt and its monster pet who eats adventurers to the hutts delight. Jabbas Rancor if you will.

Semi-sentient would mean they are intelligent enough to be self-aware, use very primitive tools (rocks and sticks), and perhaps even use reason. In contrast to full sentience where speech capabilities exist and full reasoning/common sense exist as part of their thought processes.

So judging from the other areas of this submission I would consider that an appropriate designation.

What kind of regeneration are we talking here? Rapid healing or the ability to regrow limbs, what kind of wounds can they sustain?

This is not a substantial weakness. You may keep it but I would like you to add another one.

This will suffice seeing as he's one-of-a-kind and probably doesn't have a culture pertaining to his species.

Alright, this submission is fairly unique because well... It's sot of an NPC and species in one. So could you please clarify a bit more the process of his species 'creation'. They're a mutation of another species, I assume, correct?

Thank you for the edits. I still need to see a fuller extent to how the regeneration works... Right now what I'm gathering is he can survive otherwise fatal wounds? What's the limitation to this, how much damage can he take in one go, how long does the regeneration process last, can he regrow limbs or just heal gaping wounds, what would be a sure kill? A full paragraph describing these points would do. you can add this under the history.

Ok, did some added info. I was after something that could survive otherwise fatal wounds but not immortal so to speak. Sometime I expect a noble jedi to pop by and kill him - forcing Sempra to go throw people into desert pits...
