Kamon heard the voice, and didn't recognize it. Considering the fact that he'd never actually been inside of Satara's home before, it wasn't like he knew who it was that was her mate. That being the case, he turned his eyes towards the sound of the voice and saw the man standing there. Older than him, though he didn't quite look it. Kamon could still feel it.

"Takes a while to recuperate strength."

A groan escaped him and he twisted so that he could sit upright. That made him quite dizzy, but at least he could do it without passing out now.

"Forgive me, but where am I?"

Madoc glanced up from his work for a moment when the Jai made the remark about needing to recuperate strength. "Yeah, I imagine that would happen when you impregnate another man's mate," the man answered and picked up a smaller carving tool. The question that followed a second later was one Madoc wouldn't be able to answer because just then Satara walked through the doors. One green and one blue gaze focused on Madoc for a moment who in turn looked at her for a second before resuming his work, still not talking to her, before she looked to her Master and find him attempting to sit up.

"Master," Satara spoke, ignoring the grunt sound coming from her mate as a reaction to her word. It was a specific word, one males honored females with. His mate using it on another man, an outsider at that, his rank with the outsiders irrelevant, certainly bothered him. "How are you feeling?"

Kamon blinked at the male, surmising that this was Satara's mate. What a first way to make someone's acquaintance. He rubbed at his eyes for a moment and just sat there looking at his surroundings for a few moments. It wasn't long before Satara walked in and he found his eyes drifting over to her, shrugging a little at what she said. How did he feel?

"I feel like I got run over by a herd of tauntauns."

Lifting his hand, he rubbed it through his hair for a moment before turning his attention back to focusing on her. She looked good. He didn't see any signs of illness, which was a plus. He didn't want her to get sick because of their little ones.

"Your husband doesn't seem too fond of me. I guess I understand why. You alright?"

Run over by a herd of tauntauns. Satara just chuckled at the remark. She didn't know the particular talent her Master possessed but she imagine it was a draining one, based on how long he slept, needing to regain his strength.

Her husband didn't seem too fond of him? Satara glanced at Madoc for a second, who seemed to be uninterested in their conversation though the Witch knew him better then that. "He just needs time to adjust. This is all very new to him." And since they'd met, Madoc knew to share Satara with the clan and their children. But he never had to share her in any other way. This was all very new to him. "I'm fine." There was no reason for her not to be. Long have passed the times when Satara feared she was like her mother, unable to bring more than a single child into this world. She knew now she was fine.

Well, fine was good. He guessed.

"That's good. I hoped it would be easier since you've had children before."

That had absolutely nothing to do with why he chose her, of course, but he did, nonetheless, hope that it would be safer for her. She'd birthed little ones before. She didn't need to have fear of such things. For her it probably came as second nature by now, and he didn't think that because she had a lot of kids, he thought that because she was an elder amongst her people as well. She had worldly experience, as it were.

"Sit with me. We should talk about some things."

He patted the seat beside him. It was safe enough. He wasn't going to jump all over her or anything of that nature. That wasn't who Kamon was.

"I need to tell you more about who I am so you can tell the children. For starters, don't give them my last name. It's too dangerous. If you want them to have a name associated with me, make it Jacobs. That was my mother's maiden name."

"It naturally is," Satara said in agreement. After four children, it had been easy to have children. Unless they were unique in some way. But most them, even when unique in their ways, didn't strain her as much as Kytarra did so Satara didn't worry so much.

At his invitation, Satara moved over to the sort-of-sofa and sat down next to Kamon. That pretty much too much for Madoc, who made a grunt sound and picked up his carving tools and the piece he was working on and left the cottage, letting the doors slam on his way out. Satara looked at the entrance for a bit and let out a sigh. She knew he'd be troubled by this but she didn't think it would be this much.

Her Master began speaking, making her pull her attention from the doors and look at him. He spoke of last names, not wanting them to have his. Suggested Jacobs instead, his mother's maiden name. Satara blinked for a moment. Children carried their mother's names always on Dathomir. Though now that he mentioned it, she remembered what Na'ala had done with her children. TiCira, Ahote, Áine'ki and Curupira all had D'Arr before their last name, which belonged to their father. Most found it odd, as did she at first but in time, she'd grown used to hearing it.

"Very well, they can both carry Jacobs a their middle name," She told him. Customs didn't quite have multiple last names so it was the only way she saw it being done. "On Dathomir, they must carry the Hawk name though. Children receive their last names from their mother, it's the only way fit." If they would grow as the children of a clan mother, that was the only plausible solution.

Kamon had frowned at the actions of her mate. He was finding it hard to understand why the man was so upset. For starters, Kamon had no intention of trying to steal Satara away from him. Not that he didn't particularly want to, since he did, but because it just wouldn't be right for him to do that and he refused to do harm to someone in such a way. No, he wasn't a jerk like that.

The man just needed to calm down. This was not like he'd slept with Satara, either. Things were different here. Perhaps when Kamon was gone and he was left to deal with an increasingly pregnant Satara he would understand and relax more. Space was probably good at the moment.

"That's fine. Their mother's name is fitting as they will have the best of mothers."

Looking back to her, he smiled a little, but it quickly faded.

"I might never meet them, Satara. Please promise me that you'll teach them just a little about their heritage from my side, even if it's just to tell them that I'm Corellian and Echani."

The Witch just chuckled at the remark of the twins having the best of mothers. She tried, yes, but there was really no such thing in her mind. Her mother was her role model but she hardly remembered her. Her aunts were meant to be her substitute and they did what they did to her, forcing her to kill. Before those times, Satara actually believed in heroes and role models, truly, but the concept had been lost since those times. Now, she could only give love and respect and hope she would get the same in return. Nothing more, nothing less.

"There is no such thing, they will have my love and hopefully I shall have the same in return. But there are no best of the best, not really." The woman merely commented, her thoughts final as well as the tone she gave out. Satara didn't wish to discuss the matter further.

He might never meet them? Satara didn't argue this. Battles could happen any day, she learned by now. One day she had a big family, the next some had been dead and others gone. She couldn't argue tomorrow anymore. So she merely let it go. Let him figure it out on his own. Whether he returned or not, these children would be born. Though his request didn't seem unreasonable. Part of it however she didn't know how to honor. She knew of Corellia and its odd people. But Echani was a name that she didn't know. "What is Echani?" The Witch asked.

"Well, they have the best mother that I know of."

She clearly wished to cease talking of such then, so he left it at that. She asked about the Echani and he scratched at the back of his head just a little bit. Though he knew enough about his father's side of the family to know what the Echani were, he hadn't yet taken the opportunity to visit the world. That was something that he regretted, but something he planned to immediately fix before heading out to the rim.

"The Echani are a people from the planet Eshan and several other planets around it. They're extremely good warriors, to the point where their only real rivals are the Mandalorians. They speak through combat, and battles waged between them are often intricate conversations. They're somewhat of a matriarchal society, as well."

He didn't really have any of the traits of an Echani, and he imagined that his children wouldn't really either. That was the nature of not being full Echani. Lifting his hand, he ran it through his hair and looked around them before settling back on her.

"All I ask is that you tell them. If they want to know more, they can always investigate."

People from the planet Eshan. Like the people, Satara had not heard of the planet either. But all that Kamon had told her. Warriors, speaking through combat, battles waged between them were often intricate conversations. Also a matriarchal. "So, the twins shall have a strong legacy to draw from," Satara commented. This newly discovered knowledge made her curious about the race, wanting to find out more about it. Primarily because of the unborn children within her. But also for her own curiosity.

"They will of course know. A person's heritage is important," the Witch promised. She knew how legacy was important. She knew very little of her own bloodline, hearing only stories of her grandparents and nothing before them. She assumed it was because of the plague that raged in those times but Satara didn't only suspected as much. "I'll also make sure to find out more about them. Children rely on their parents to teach the these things. I shall give them that."

A smile blossomed on his face. He knew he'd picked the right woman for this. Not only did she possess great beauty and great intelligence, but she was willing to do the things it took to be a good mother as well. Good. He was content with knowing that his little ones were growing within her womb. Reaching his hand over, he rested it there and felt again. One last time.

"Good. I'm glad you allowed this."

Lifting his gaze, he smiled at her and withdrew his hand before standing slowly.

"I should go before your husband gets angrier at me. Thank you again, Satara. It means a lot to me."

Her gaze lowered when she felt Kamon's hand on her stomach. He did it again. The concept was odd for the Witch. Yes, she was carrying twins and they rested and developed within her but people placing their hands on her stomach was not a common thing on Dathomir.

Satara said nothing though, as Kamon made his remark, being glad that she had allowed this. The Witch merely smiled at that point. He'd leave now, not wanting to make her husband angrier at him? "Don't worry about it. Madoc has a kind heart, he just needs to get used to this." She didn't worry of her mate, not long term. He would soon see this was fine. She would just give him the time to see it on his own.

"I do hope you return, Master. But until you do, the twins will always have a family here." And her words held weight. A family they would always have. Parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. It was a big family and they would all be that to them. Satara rose to her feet as Kamon did, carefully watching him to make sure he didn't lose his balance at any point.

"I know they will. They'll have a good family here."

He smiled at her and stood still for a moment, making sure that he had his feet beneath him. It wouldn't do for him to go wandering around only to collapse once again. She wouldn't like that either. Satara was a good woman. A good friend. He somewhat wished circumstances were different between them, but they were not and he accepted that fact, focusing on other things instead.

"I'll try to come back some day. I don't feel that I will, but I will try."

Leaning forward, he kissed her forehead.

"Good luck. Take care of our little ones."

That said, he turned and started walking towards the entrance of her home, intent on leaving. He was alright now. Feet walked beneath him with at least the confidence that he wasn't going to fall and bust his backside. He should be able to make it to his ship.

As the Jai spoke his words, Satara merely nodded. He was leaving, that was all there was to it. In months to come, her pregnancy would become obvious and the clan would assume Madoc was once again the father. That was a necessary disguise as much of the planet would fail to understand the use of the Force in all this. If they were to know another had father her children, it would not be frowned upon, it was a Witch's right to take any male as she chose but having them think one of their own was the father would make it easier on the children.

The kiss on her forehead had been another off moment. A fatherly action, one Satara had not experienced in many years. Not since before she took her own father's life. "Amba,Wa Uspewicakiyapi. Yuha wo was'te icimani," the Witch whispered in her native tongue.
