The Defense Force’s elite expeditionary infantry force, specializing in naval deployments. As a detachment of the GADF’s navy, it is common for Galactic Alliance's marines to be attached to rapid response forces, often making them the first foot soldiers on-site when a conflict erupts. Because of this, Alliance Marines are outfitted with state-of-the-art REC/STA-02 Advanced Shocktrooper armor and a wide arsenal of REC weaponry to hold their own in dire straits. Much like the army, the marine corps has an array of specialized roles, including advanced recon force (ARF), heavy troopers, medics, engineers, and many more. **Alliance Marines use army ranks instead of naval ranks.

The 1% of the 1%. Trained to carry out crucial or covert tasks in small squads of four, unlike the infantry, marines, or even the rangers, Galactic Alliance commandos are a limited and highly mobile force that are generally deployed to complete specific objectives rather than fight, often behind enemy lines or beyond the scope of the Alliance’s territory. Because of the nature of their work, commandos are outfitted with the best armor and weaponry the GADF has to offer them, which includes REC/STA-01 S1 Advanced Commando Armour and the devastating modular REC-DC/03 “Viperwasp” Particle Blaster. **Alliance Commandos use army ranks instead of naval ranks.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE ARMY
Boots on the ground. Tracks in the mud. The divisions of the army make up the largest branch of the Defense Force and offer a wide array of career opportunities for those interested in seeing the Galaxy and getting their hands dirty along the way. Planetary security is where the Army sees the most deployment but they are also often deployed behind Marine units in expeditionary conflicts.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE NAVY
The spearhead of the Galactic Alliance’s military operations. The fleets of the GADF’s navy are the Alliance’s shield and first responders. It is common for members of the Defense Force’s navy to spend months on tours, even during times of peace, to defend strategic locations and national borders, patrol major hyperlanes and trade routes or rapidly respond to emergencies that arise.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE STARFIGHTER CORPS
The GADF's starfighter corps is an extension of the navy and operates as the Galactic Alliance’s primary means of naval support for both ground and space operations. It’s composed of many talented personnel and pilots with something to prove, working together to hone their affinities with hard work and dedication. The starfighter corps is commonly deployed when larger capital ships require finer offensive or defensive maneuvering, or to provide extremely effective support during planetside engagements.

THE NEW JEDI ORDER
While Jedi across the Galaxy have rallied behind various causes and regions of space, the Alliance can depend on the New Jedi Order in their times of need. Leaping into battle as commanders and generals on the ground or flying in their unique Jedi X-Wings and Starfighters, they fight for the ideals of the Galactic Alliance. Independent and strong-willed, the Knights that have joined the GADF are unique resources and powerful allies.

THE COLD WAR
Determined to rebuild, rearm, and unify the Core Worlds they ignored the steady growth of the New Imperial Order. Invigorated from their recent string of victories along the Braxant Run, the people of the budding Imperial power that had once been requesting aide in their war for freedom had returned hardened and colder. Their military, battle-tested and ever-growing was now a series threat to the Galactic Alliance's efforts to spread democracy and freedom across the stars. The Imperials meanwhile have begun their own plans for Galactic Domination. Moving against several allies and arming insurgent groups throughout the Core Worlds they seek to undermine the flourishing Alliance. Intelligence reports claimed that these groups were nothing that local defense forces could handle.
Yinchor had been a wake-up call to the Galactic Alliance.
Armed with New Imperial Order technology and trained by New Imperial COMPNOR agents, partisans from various Core-based systems fought a bloody battle on Yinchorr leading to the destruction of their training facility but the deaths of far too many Alliance deaths for what was to be a simple military advisory role among the Yinchorri people. Now weeks later the battles there still rage as the Warrior Caste funded and equipped by the New Imperial Order continues to fight the established Enlightened Caste funded and supported by the Galactic Alliance. But these aren't the only battlegrounds that have been tainted by an Imperial hand. On Atrisia rumors of a group of ronin proclaiming to serve a different Emperor raiding Atrisian airships and Alliance convoys. In the Deep Core Byss continues to shore up its defenses and military power in the region while still more silently maneuvering groups seek the aid of the New Imperials to overthrow the Galactic Alliance.
A frigid dawn has begun to rise on the Galactic Alliance.
