DESCRIPTION
Originally put into service by the Sith Empire in the final stages of their war against the Galactic Alliance, the Militus-class Star Battlecruiser dubbed The Frozen Hand was awarded to Prefect Geradius Nox who commanded a modest fleet as an Admiral of the Sith Empire. Fighting valiantly in several theaters of war spanning the Tingle Arm and the Deep Core the vessel would sustain heavy damage at the Battle of Coruscant. After refits, the Frozen Hand was rushed back into service as the flagship of Task Force Socorro, a portion of the Sith's Core Occupation fleet which was designated to the Corellian Sector. The vessel hung over Corellian for only a short time however as though the Sith rid the Galaxy of the Galactic Alliance, successor states began popping up, causing trouble for the occupation fleet. Eventually two of these successor states found their way to Corellia. After siding with the Imperials of Annaxes the Frozen Hand and its fleet engaged New Republic vessels in defense of Corellia. Ultimately the Annaxes imperials were defeated but the Hand along with its fleet managed to escape. Hunted and on the edge, the Hand made contact with other remnants of the Sith's Core Occupation Fleet and was slotted as its flagship with its captain, Prefect Nox in command. However as it became clear that the Sith Empire had abandoned all plans for truly occupying the Core the fleet was recalled. Knowing that their failure likely meant their deaths or at least the ends of their careers, Nox went rogue along with a large portion of the fleet. Hiding in deep core Sith Imperial outposts and shipyards, the Hand underwent several upgrades fitting of a true flagship.

With enough firepower to take on most fleets on its own, the new and improved Frozen Hand retained many of the benefits of its original design, chiefly its speed and agility. Sturdier armor platting and powerful xythan force shields protected the vessel from all but the longest of sieges, making any one on one battle with the vessel a true slog. To accommodate its upgrades however the vessel increased in size, most notably a larger isotope-5 reactor bulb replaced the aging Sith designed model. Internal interdiction generators added to its strategic value, keeping vessels from fleeing the battle and modernized internal systems and automation brought down the crew requirements substantially from the original model. As the flagship of Nox's new Empire, it also held chambers to accommodate the small contingent of Sith and Sith Lords that accompanied him.

The prize of Lord Nox and his fleet, the Frozen Hand became not only a symbol of the warlord's might, but also the name of his ever growing fleet. Even from behind its hibridium cloak the cold embrace of Nox and his fleet could be felt creeping across the core...
