[SIZE=9pt]Description:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The Foundation is a battlecruiser-scale, heavily-defended space station which houses collective functions of the overarching Kathol government. The worlds which comprise the territories send delegates and staff teams to guard their interests. The Kathol worlds work collectively in terms of defense, trade, and navigational standards; in most other respects, they remain isolated and independent. Naturally, security is quite high, to the point where vessels which make unauthorized approaches are disabled or destroyed without hesitation. This is not a place to congregate and grab a drink, unless all your friends have security clearance.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]Diplomatic Sector: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]This area contains offices, encrypted comm services, meeting areas, databanks, and other facilities relevant to the collective government of the Kathol territories. At a high level, overarching areas of cooperation and interstellar agreement are handled in the Foundation’s Diplomatic Sector. You could, with some accuracy, say that the territories’ government is found there, though each senior delegate obviously reports to a world or group of worlds. The Uukaablians, the Pimbrellans, the Kathol Republic, the people of Kal’Shebbol, and other major players all have a significant presence in this sector. [/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=9pt]Defense Sector: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]This area contains offices, encrypted comm services, meeting areas, databanks, and other facilities relevant to the collective defense of the Kathol territories. Combined defense forces, as well as the uniformed personnel of various worlds and groups of worlds, staff this sector. The Defense Sector has the ability to receive reports from vessels, stations, and satellites across the territories, almost in real time, and dispatch alerts to coordinate responses from whichever vessels may be nearest a given situation. The Defense Sector also coordinates the Judges, the primarily Force-sensitive roaming law officers who patrol the outermost reaches of the Kathol territories.[/SIZE]

A variety of entertainment and restaurant venues are available, all at a level of cleanliness and sophistication intended to put the territories’ best foot forward. [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Aesthetic influences[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] from Kal’Shebbol and Uukaablis tend to dominate: sweeping lines, subdued monochrome, an elegant Imperial sort of approach. You can really feel the designers’ hunger for respect and legitimacy. The occasional scruffy Undergrounders are encouraged strongly to wipe their boots before visiting.[/SIZE]
