In the days since he'd met Asha Hex deep in the Kathol region, Cotan Sar'andor had found himself caught up in some very odd circumstances related to her calling as a Je'daii. He'd been chosen as a liaison to help oversee the construction of a temple close to ORC space, he'd made multiple contacts with them besides, and in-between his duties as a Judge and combatting the Sith, he'd been roped into joining the group. Something that he hadn't expected would be likely to happen, both due to thinking the Je'daii were previously a long-extinct order, as well as his vow to avoid contact with the Jedi Order at large.

Although, after having spent as long as he had working as a Judge, he seemed to find his place within the Force, and working with Jedi—and Je'daii—didn't seem so odd anymore.

What was odd was when Veiere Arenais gifted Asha with a large praxeum ship, enabling her to free some of the Je'daii and any allies they had from other traditions from their ground-locked temples. Something that seemed quite necessary, given how many times the Je'daii had been made to suffer at the hands of other groups attacking the systems they were based in; when she asked him to help her run it, though, he was fully unprepared for that.

Soon enough they managed to find some more-experienced members to actually run the small fleet, though they both came back to it often for rest and respite. At times, Cotan also came back to train, and fulfill some trials of the Je'daii path, when he wasn't busy fighting Sith or doing similar things. Today was one of those times; time for him to complete the trial of Vur Tepe, and construct a force-imbued blade.

He already had all the materials he needed. A blade blank, forged out of durasteel and ready for the final steps it would need; a crossguard fashioned out of phrik, to afford himself extra protection, as well as the other hilt furnishings that would be necessary. And, most importantly, a pair of kyber crystals to tie into the blade.

A Kasha crystal from Cerea; a meditation aid, that would tie itself to the wielder and could help them maintain a calm focus, even in combat. More exotic even than that, a Pontite crystal he'd hunted down in the caverns of Ilum, that would carry the icy nature of the planet into the blade it would be melded to. The only thing he was waiting for was another person, who could help him accomplish the feat he tasked himself with; one crystal was hard enough to work with for this task.

Two was completely unheard of.

He glanced up at the chrono on the wall, while the forge came up to temperature. "Where is he?" he muttered irritably. He'd set the time for their meeting to thirty minutes ago, but [member="Caedyn Arenais"] still had yet to show up.
