The Forces of Nirauan

A small summary of the small military might of the Empire of the Hand, as generally expressed with the whole "Chiss Ascendancy and Empire" hybrid that forms of the foundation of our lovely little Empire: anyone can excel in the military if they show the necessary skills and loyalty, won't find any discrimination here. Now, the summaries:
Empire of the Hand Army

The Empire of the Hand embraces the ideals of it's predecessor (to an extent) in regards to it's military: a mixture of Chiss Ascendancy and Imperial ideas blended to what it is considered perfection. While indeed designed to eventually become an offensive force, much of the army has fallen to the role of a policing force and defensive complements. At the current small state of the Empire of the Hand it would unwise to throw it's military forces to the stars and leave precious Nirauan undefended. Much of the military presence outside of the space around Nirauan falls to the Phalanx Commandos, regardless of this fact the Army is organized for the eventuality of reaching greater things:
The Council of Generals
The current Bureaucracy of the Empire of the Hand loves councils, the army is represented by the Council of Generals. A handful of the most skilled military leaders within the hand.
Supreme Commander-
Grand General-
Grand General-
Grand General-
Grand General-
While a map for the eventual legions of the Empire of the Hand have been made, they cannot muster the necessary amount of forces to truly establish any sort of major military might the forces of the Hand seek to exemplify one trait more than anything else: flexibility. While individual units may end up being grossly specialized the organization of the army is pushed to a rather uncharacteristic level of chaotic freedom in how forces are deployed: no tactical ability can be lost from rigid usage of the small military forces of the Empire of the Hand.
The Phalanx Commandos

What could to some extent be called the “true” military arm of the Empire of the Hand, wariness is constantly present when one only controls a single measly world: that is where the Commandos come in. They are an enigma, for they wear no obvious uniform, nor bare any markings. They are the Empire of the Hand’s link to the Galaxy, spreading across the stars to report on the happenings of the Galaxy and even in rare cases remove threats that may end up causing harm to the Empire of the Hand. They are given the best tools the Empire of the Hand can provide, regardless of this fact Commandos are encouraged to use weapons more widely found in the Galaxy as to keep their cover and allegiance a well-kept secret. Or, of course, deflecting their allegiance off to the Chiss Ascendancy instead.
Empire of the Hand Navy
(Sadly no fancy recolors and edits for you folk yet.)
In a similar style to the army, the Navy is represented by a council of best admirals within the Empire of the Hand. And just like the army, there aren’t quite too many of those.
Supreme Admiral-

Grand Admiral-
Grand Admiral-
Grand Admiral-
The small size of the Empire of the Hand means that flexibility is key, and this does indeed continue off to the Navy as well: with no true set design put into play with it’s rather measly fleet of frigates, corvettes, and patrol craft. This fleet of lighter vessels means that the preferred military tactic is lighting fast raids to weaken the enemy force, or kill them over a long period of quick and devastating strikes. Because each ship lost is felt dearly by the forces of Nirauan, no matter how small.
