Cable Smith

Vaynai
On the shores of the white beaches of Vaynai there was a small hut that lay in isolation ten yards from the sands. A rather shaky wooden hut built with straw and twine it was isolated and away from any major tourist attractions. A place where young Jedi could go to clear their minds of the dark side of the force and train to learn and master the force itself. This was the spot cable smith chose to train, though his heart was not clean of the dark side of the force he still knew not to venture down the road of temptation and lust. He had seen where that road lead and it was not a place he wished to find himself. Inside the hut cable sat on the center of a rug in the middle of the one room hut. He was in deep meditation picturing the task that was set out in front of him. Breaking his meditation he yawned slightly and looked down to see what he had come here to do.
There were three very simple objects laid in front, a ring, a bracelet, and a dagger that shined with the brightness of a vein of silver within a dark mine. Now Cable wasn't like most Jedi, he preferred his books and potions over the sabers and offensive force abilities. That wasn't saying Cable didn't know how to get down in a fight, it was just he preferred to expand his mind rather than feel like a badass. But it was back to the grind, back to the reason he was here. He was here to learn how to imbue objects with the force, how to make them stronger by using the powers that surrounded them. How to tap into the force itself and create a bond with an object it was a very long and exhausting process that he had read about in the imbuing of a blade, it was painful and draining and took a master of forging and the force to do so. But Cable was not here to forge blades, he was learning the equally as exhausting force power of imbuing items. It was so draining that a person could only imbue one item per twenty four hours and had to rest afterwards. Cable had booked the hut for a solid week and had a cot in the corner for the after effects of the process.
It was time to commence the first project at hand, the ring. Picking up the small piece of cheap jewelry he examined it with care and precision to make sure it was strong enough to survive the process. A worn thick bronze coating with the symbol of a Atrisian tiger worn onto the top the metal was smooth yet bore characters of a sturdy well used ring. The inner bronze was dull from many use and it was obvious whoever this once belonged to was with them at all times. Cable had picked up his gear at a pawn shop in the city and made use of the small amount of credits he had for food and equipment. Placing the ring down in front of him he closed his eyes and would begin the process of feeling the rings energy. This would be a long day for the young Jedi padawan in his journey for knowledge
