The Flesh is Weak

On the Battlefield of Lothal, First Order and scattered Alliance forces fight for control, for survival.
Near the Jedi temples Ren and Jedi fight for their lives.
The Supreme Leader himself appeared upon the surface of Lothal,
intent on finishing this himself - except there was one who stood in his way.
The battle raging all around, the valiant Jedi Kahne Porte had stood his ground as the Supreme Leader drew down on the symbol of hope. The two were now locked in battle.

Brilliant flashes of light illuminated the battlefield as the two force practitioners clashed. Strike after strike parried, deflected, or dodged. The two had been almost nose to nose as their sabers locked - it was then that a stray thermal detonator had erupted at their feet. Just in time, each had protected themselves enough to merely be thrown several meters by the force of the explosion, lithe tendrils of smoke now rising from the singed edges of Sieger's tattered cloak.

Quickly his eyes located his target amidst the battle once again, the sight of the Jedi unscathed commanding a wicked sneer before he once again endeavored to close the distance. The violent hum of Sieger's own saber drowned out the sound of blasters, the sound of explosions - all he could hear was the ring of death around him. Reaching out through the Force Sieger vehemently projected his voice, spearheading through the mists and mental defenses of the foe to send a message. A statement of fact.

"You will die."

The darkside was incredibly strong with him, that much was evident. As the Supreme leader charged forth and their lightsabers clashed. Equal in strength in seemed and within their own persona way they both fought for something, both unwilling to fall and lose, and unyielding strength in each others presence. The deadlock that had them face to face was broken up by a thermal detonator that had gone off nearby. The Jedi Master called upon the force and absorbed some of the blast however it was still enough to have him be thrown back some meters.

The Jedi Master stood up and glanced around as Ren and Alliance clashed around them and from the rising smoke of fire and debris could be seen his enemy [member="Sieger Ren"]

The Jedi Master twirled his lightsaber around as he approached and Kahne in turn met him once again with equal strength.

"If it is my day, then so be it." Kahne answered back with silent fury as the Jedi remained a calm hopeful paladin on the battlefield. "It was foolish of you to come here."

A sneer twisted Sieger's face, his disdain for the Jedi clear in both expression and intent as he lifted his feet. The Jedi, too self righteous, too weak and unwilling to make the hard decisions. *Too afraid.* The elegant etched saber hilt flicked back up into a defensive position but as the two began to close, Sieger's voice rose once again.

"Cast your eyes upon your temples, for today is the last day they will be called home to your kind."
With a shout that broke the monotonous growl of the battlefield, Sieger lunged forward, his hand extended towards the Jedi master. Arcs of near corporeal energy flashed a brilliant blue as they extended from his fingertips towards the Jedi. Driven by his own anger and pent up hatred of the Alliance, Sieger sought to send thousands upon thousands of volts of electricity coursing through the man before him. An attack easily defensible against, it was meant as more than merely a direct assault, but one on the mind as well. The unstable nature of the electricity, the violent show of force its conjuring would convey - It was just another move in the game the two had begun to play. The hunter, the hunted, each flipping between the roles on a whim.

"Die Jedi!"

He was strong, very strong. The Jedi Master couldn't deny that fact, however Kahne's own strength with the lightside of the force was equally strong and he knew that he couldn't falter here. Kahne could feel the pull of the darkside of the force, pent up and now unleashed towards the Jedi Master. It taking form of a deadly torrent of force lightning, the Jedi Master brought up his green blade to meet the lightning and it coursed through his blade and even though it was absorbing most of the damage, he could still feel the stinging in his hands.

"I don't think so." Kahne replied firecly to his demands of death. Kahne hoping to catch the Supreme Leader of guard, a dead body of one of the fallen Ren Knights rose by aid of the force and was sent hurtling towards [member="Sieger Ren"] intending to knock him about.

Defiance. Sieger knew the expression well, it exuded some sickly sweet flavor as it created ripples in the Force. This man before him was one of strength, that much he could tell but even the strong fell. How many worlds had been made to bow, how many people had been subjugated under his empire? Millions - and they loved him for it. Those that didn't weren't around long enough to matter. For a brief moment Sieger had come barreling forward once more into the public spotlight, the war against the Alliance the horse he rode in on, but all that was over now and as the fading forces of the once great power tried to keep the Order at bay, Sieger had joined them.

The Jedi's words filled Sieger's ears, in his mind a retort. *No young Jedi, you don't think.* So focused on the man before him, Sieger barely caught the flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye. The distance between the two had widened again enough so that a counter strike was too much a gamble, instead he chose to respond in a different way. An indignant snort escaped the man's nostrils as he raised an open hand towards the projectile body. Suspending it there in midair against the Jedi's own force, Sieger's fingers slowly closed into a fist, his eyes boring into the Jedi's the entire time.

The body had stopped midair, and as the fingers of the Supreme Leader closed, a curious thing began to happen. At first the body merely shifted, arms and legs twisting and turning. Then as Sieger's hand began to form a fist, something horrible began to happen. The loud crack of bones snapping, joints cracking, and flesh tearing filled the air. A gruesome visage splayed across the ground of the battlefield as the body was rent limb for limb, and when there was nothing left to resemble the once human form, a wet splash as it fell into a puddle of its own sanguine blood.

"Is that all you can do - Master Jedi?"
The disdain was clear upon his voice, eyes burning anew with a coal of amber.

The body stopped in mid-air, halted by the Supreme Leaders own power. This was something that Kahne expected, yet what happened next he wasn't expecting. The Jedi's brow furrowed as he glanced at the act that Sieger was doing with the deceased body. It wasn't fear in Kahne's eyes, it wasn't even worry....

Kahne had dealt with more in his years as a Jedi than any other person should've been able to endure. But he was still here, and that counted for something. Hope was essential to him, and his light hadn't faded...not even a little bit.

The Jedi Master called upon the force jumping up and over the supreme leader, landing about the same distance behind him as he was in front of him. Kahne landed softly on the ground and stood up turning to face the Supreme Leader once more. "You've got issues, truly." Kahne said with a small smirk. "I almost feel sorry for you." The Jedi knew in part what Sieger was trying to do, and it wasn't going to work.
