The first strike

Thalassian slavers, one cause of misery out of many. There had been a time when they had nearly hunted the Snivvians to extinction just so they could skin them due to their skin's thermal properties. A heavy huff came across the Zeltron's lips as she slightly slammed her hand down on the console before her. The slaver group was still operating in the Outer Rim Territories, and now with the Sith Empire having fallen; it seemed like slaver groups from across the galaxy were converging on the region. Sitting quietly in her restored Firespray; Nyla thought back on her younger years. Remembering the days she spent chained next to a bloated Hutt as a trophy. She shivered at the thought of those cold metal bikinis and how they chaffed.

Scanning the view screen before her; the lane she was waiting on was where she had been informed that the convoy would be passing by. It was expected to pass through the region and close to the Aparo Sector on its return trip. At least a Kaloth Battlecruiser escorting two Slave transports. She figured if she were lucky enough she could hit the Battlecruiser and knock it out before they even knew what was going on. That was the challenge though, taking out the escort while also disabling the transports and keeping the slaves from becoming vaporized.

At the moment she didn't have the equipment she needed on her vessel. Some pirate she was; not enough credits to load out her vessel. It was her hope though that the clear sign of force alone would intimidate the slave transports to stop. Nyla let out another heavy sigh, her fingers tapping a few of the controls and calibrating the weapons before she looked up again. Constantly checking to make sure that the vessels hadn't arrived without her noticing.

Trista Nemorra

Darkside Dominatrix
Character
Trista was aboard the lead vessel as it traveled through hyperspace as she was sent deep undercover for the mission, as it was she had a duty to uphold and she was hell bent on seeing that duty through until the end, as she rode the lanes with her head held low like the good little slave she was supposed to be she smirked under cold eyes for the male slavers that held her and the other girls captive, the cell was small and cramped with at least ten girls to a cell and without much room to stretch out and enjoy her little bit of paradise before she was required to move against the slavers yet it was also her duty to make sure she protected the other girls from harm and that was what she intended to do.

Her sister was the one to bring the fight to them without a second thought, she was not the one to wait long hours to kill the morons that Trista was now up against and she was not one to allow herself to be captured, one of Tristas skill sets that her younger sister lacks is the undercover experience that comes with the job style of one Trista Nemorra that Caile has not gotten for herself.

Keeping her head low she smirks as the guard passes by and makes his round quickly, another day and this guy would be good as rich but it would not get that far since when she escapes she will kill him first for what he did to a nice twilek girl one cell over the night before, the slimeball deserved to be gutted right here right now but Trista needed to wait for the perfect moment to move against him, and right now was not that time... it would soon come.

As she remained she picked out her comm unit from a hidden location on her body once the idiotic guard left the room for the moment and pressed a button as she placed it on her ear and radioed ahead to the command of the mission "HQ This is echo, I have charades on the radar, the game is a go ahead commensing black out now" she spoke lowly to the mission commander and gave off the code words for the mission to start and watched as the guard came back and with a slide of her hand slid it back into its hiding spot and kept her head low.

As he left again she tore her shirt to make herself more appealing to him and moments later he returned and she walked seductively up to the cage teasing the man, as she smirked she taunted him and within moments the man opened the cage door and entered wanting to take the operative, yet she had other plans and upon luring him inside he went to grab her and she reversed his grab and grappled with him, after a few moments she had him bent over and broke his neck and took his firearm, from there she looked at the girls and locked them inside and cautioned them to stay silent and wandered off toward the innards of the ship to judge the situation.

"Move it, slave!" The voice behind Saran yelled. Every few seconds..... "Gah! I can't." An electric pulse through her restraints. They knew how to hold a Jedi, all right, but they were leaving her alone..... "Ah!" She could get used to it. If she tried. And the worst part? She couldn't see. Her ability to use the force was shut down, and she was left helpless. Stay alive. Get out. You need to get to.... "Nrrg!" How did she get into this? Slavers. She had been sold by an old Sith "friend". Now just to get out......

Her weapons were gone, she assumed that they were in a storage room somewhere on the ship. If she could see, she could escape, she could get out. But until then, she would struggle to survive this ordeal.

This wasn't what he'd signed up for.

The mercenary paced, glowering at the other scum that had been gathered... That had congealed on this ship. Most easily amongst the worst in the galaxy. They quantified the living, breathing, thinking people; turning normal folk into little more than walking credit sacks. They treated them as such. Rogo had been hired to guard a shipment of 'cargo'. He'd pushed a bit for more info, but finally relented when they attached a price for his services. He'd been on the ship for two days before he'd finally gotten to see the contents of the ship. He'd cursed himself for missing it. A job was a job, usually. But this? This was something else entirely.

He kept himself together. He couldn't afford to alienate anyone. He couldn't afford to get in a shootout, with this many people on the ship. He couldn't afford to lose the business... He scowled at that thought, folding his arms, and watching a Thalassian, (feth how'd he miss it), electrocuting some young Miraluka. He'd done his best to at least minimize the amount of suffering these poor people would suffer. Redirect hostility, defuse tense situations, or push back against their wanton cruelty. He knew he was missing some, though. Every so often, when he patrolled the ship, he'd hear the slaves crying. He'd come across them bruised, battered, and... Hmh. He adjusted the slung rifle he carried, brushed his hand against his pistol, then narrowed his gray eyes at the Scumbag torturing the girl.

"That's enough."

"The hell it is," the slaver spat back. "You ain't goin' soft on the Jedi, are ya, newjack?"

He walked up to the slaver, dull tread clearly audible as the Thalassian turned to him. "Alright, then. You touch the button again, I'll feed you the control. You backtalk me again, I'll feed you your teeth. I'd like some alone time with this one. She'll be intact, at least at the get go.", he said, shrugging slightly, and palming the slaver a few credits. "Gimme about half an hour. Should be all I need. Fair?"

The Thalassian, recovering from the shock of one of the mercenaries talking down to him, tried to look like he was evaluating the offer. Tried to look like he wasn't going to take the money. He wanted to mask his willingness to accept credits. A pointless ruse, to be sure, and the second it had hit his hand, the Lorrdian man knew how the rest of this would go. He plucked the Control to the slave collar out of his grip and winked as the man thing exited the room. Rogo turned, as the door shut, walking towards the girl, heavy tread easily audible in the dead silence. He leaned down in front of her, listening for a noise at the door, then looked levelly at the young @[member="Saran Drast"],

"No. But do you know what you did?" she turned to him. They had taken everything, including her mask. Her hollow sockets now boring into his eyes. She could see, she could defend herself, and most importantly, she could get this kriffing collar off. The force flowed back through her, the room flooded her brain, and she was ready. She wouldn't do it, not until the slaver was back. then, she would take it off and snap it shut around his neck. Take an eye for an eye.

Soon enough, Nyla could detect another ship jumping from hyperspace nearby to their rendezvous point, it pinged her with their codes, making sure she knew he was a friendly.
Soon enough she would be able to pick up a transmission on encrypted channel
"Captain Nyla, this is Captain Lex, coming here as you requested, I have my ship outfitted with ion weaponry, falling back into formation to your ship just give a word and I'll be there! I am at your orders, Captain."
He grinned to the communicator with that pristine Nautolan grin

He sat back in his chair, putting his legs on the dashboard of his ship, he reached out, tapping a little Domino bubble-head doll, watching her nod back and forth, he smirked. It was a little thing he got from the Black Suns.
He glanced across his consoles, his ion weaponry ready, all he needed was the signal from Nyla, which would probably come once their teammates showed up.

Trista was in the same area she had originally been in when she ducked into a dark room and waited for the small guard unit to pass by her, as she waited her comm activated and a call came in it was her shuttle the Nirvana, the shuttle had just made a jump and ended up in the same system, her own guard unit was piloting it and she smirked as she placed her comm in her ear to relate the message to them Commander Delis this is Vice Baroness Echo, you have the go for detonation she reported and then ended the transmission, her ship was outfitted with blast canons and emp bursts so there was one choice here, and by detonation she meant they were to disable the ships in range with the emp.

As she exited the room she continued on her path to the control room which was a long way off, as she rounded a corner she met with a warrior and met his eye, she smirked and performed a wall run and then came down over and in back of him, he didn't have enough time to radio ahead since she kicked him in his back and made him stumble and then grabbed him and with a vicious twist she broke his neck and dragged him into a room and left him out of sight.

As she looked at him she got an idea and stripped him and put on his clothes to make herself appear to be one of the guards of the ship and walked out and onward toward her destination.

A small light began to flash on her console, her slender fingers brushing over it before she head @[member="Lex Matako"] voice come through on the transmission. A small smirk crossed her lips as she thought to herself that it was about time. Listening for a moment she nodded before pressing the return call on her console. Taking a moment to compose herself and not let her hate for the slavers be too evident.

"Glad you could make it Captain Lex. Focus on the slave transports with your Ion Cannons. I'll deal with that battlecruiser."

Pressing down on the button again she pulled on the yolk before her. Looking out towards the convoy as it was beginning to pass their location. With a few presses to the console her ship roared into full life before the firespray went screaming from its position and made a beeline to the Kaloth battlecruiser. Nyla's smaller and much more nimble vessel quickly unleashed a burst from its blast cannons, striking at the bridge before she pulled away and turned. Hoping that she could hit their engines in a rapid moment before their shields came up.

For now she would leave the transports to Captain Lex. It was his duty to make sure they didn't jump to hyperspace while she focused on the Kaloth. Her guns unleashing a barrage on the vessel, taking down one of its engines as she pulled off. Though soon enough she was going to be forced to content with the starfighters that the hive she had just poked was beginning to send out.

"Roger that, Captain!"
He responded as he zoomed past her with his YZ-1200 Light Freighter, he would spin and twirl, the ship as hyperactive as the pilot in the cockpit as he opened ion fire on the transport ship.
He outfitted his Freighter before the mission to swap his laser turrets for additional ion guns, bringing up his count of ion weapons up to four.

Coming up from behind of the transport ship, hopefully in the blind spot of most of their guns, he let all those four guns sing, hopefully quickly overwhelming the shield system of the ship as it would disable its components. Just in case he fired couple of ion missiles from his front launchers, aiming them both for their hyper-drive systems, that was the most important component right now.

Rogo shook his head, then drew back to his full height. He inspected the remote, while speaking to the girl.

"I'm one of the hired hands on this ship, but, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to put a new clause in my contracts from here onward. Slavery sucks.... Relax, for now... That guy will be back at some poin-", he managed to get out, before the alarms started. He cursed, annoyed, and looked back at the girl. Could be raiders or pirates. Could be a Republic raid. Could be a lot of things. Only one way to figure out. "Come with me, girl. Keep the collar on. Play the slave. Lets se-"

"RAIDERS ARE ATTACKING THE SHIP! ALL HANDS TO BATTLEST-", the intercom cut out sharply, just as the ship rocked slightly beneath his feet.

"Uh. Yeah, heck with it. Come with me, play the slave. We're on the cruiser 'I can't pronounce the name'. Whoever's attacking, ideally, is here to rescue your kinds.", he continued, poking his head out the door, watching as the crew scrambled around. He could hear the whine of weapons and shields from deeper in the ship, as they powered up. He felt something else go, deeper into the ship. An engine, maybe. "We're going to help."

Saran sighed. "I swear, if you put one volt through this collar, I'll kill you." Slowly standing, trying to maintain balance, she scanned the room. Nothing. Her eyes would be disturbing to the other slaves. She should cover them. But she didn't have anything to do it with. "I hope Jacobs is safe. He didn't deserve this." She muttered, before bowing her head and saying, ever so sarcastically to @[member="Janus Rogo"], "Ready, master."

Gil didn't much like slavery, and when he had seen the request for hands who could use a blaster, he was quick to sign on with little else happening in his old and boring life. He was part of the boarding crew, awaiting orders in a small Z-120 in the makeshift hangar of the Grizbain. His Gungan captain was above him on the bridge as his masterpiece flew through hyperspace. Soon they would be upon the convoy.

It had been ages since Gilamar had piloted anything outside of a freighter.

Out of hyperspace the Grizbain plowed through the vacuum of space. "Go! Go! Go! Launch fighters!" From the belly of the beast erupted a flurry of starfighters, unloading its entire compliment of starfighters. Borvos and Headhunters sped into the fray, countering any resistance the slavers could muster, the head hunters peppering the ships' shields. With a satisfied, Gungan smirk Captain Nass watched through the viewport of his bridge, his crew running to and fro, passing messages and pressing buttons. Activating his ship to ship com he reached out to the other pirates, "Yousas look like you could use sum help!"

trista was on the same ship as @[member="Saran Drast"] and @[member="Janus Rogo"] just was in a different location than what they were, as she rounded a corner the shiip rocked and she braced... her mind focused and she kept walking as guards rushed around her and Tirsta being the only calm one of them all, suddenly the speakers sprang to life announcing the attack on the ship and the fact her people had just arrived and were gunning for the convoy.

As she roamed she looked at a couple elite guards and took out her dual westars and shot them dead on the spot before they knew what was going on, nobody was around and as it was the mission already was picking up so her infiltration was over, now it was time to act.

As she rounded another corner she ran into a gammo that knocked her down, the pig looked at her and instantly recognized her as one of the slaves and squeeled out, Trista was forced to act and act she did as the pig slammed his axe down on her she rolled and got to her feet and jump kicked him to the wall, from there she dodged his blow and shot him in the chest from point blank range ending his life and preserving her own.

Pointing her guns at either end of the hallway as more were detected by her hearing she waited and as soon as they came within range she let off volleys of plasma fire ending a lot of their miserable lives and then smirked as more were coming.

A rather quick pull back on the controls prevented a nearly disasterous outcome as another vessel dropped out of hyperspace. For a moment she began to curse herself for not taking out the ships transmission; though that was her next target. The transmission from the newly arrived vessel though was more than what she needed as she turned back around. Her cannons leveled on the Kaloth's communication array, firing off a quick burst to prevent them from calling for help. A smirk crossing her lips as she narrowly avoided one of the uglies that the battlecruiser had launched. Now with other fighters in the fray she could focus on that lead vessel.

"This is Captain Nyla of the Blood Ravens. Focus your attention on the slave transports."

Her transmission was rapid; of course there was a plan going on in her mind that she was beginning to beat herself over. Without really thinking she made a beeline for the hanger of the Kaloth. The ships shields down in that region to unleash its group of fighters. Quickly she took aim, blowing the generators in the area before she barely got the firespray into the belly of the beast. Now what she thought to herself as the vessel finished its landing routine, thinking on the mess she had just gotten herself into.

Well she had wanted to get onto the Kaloth; though now it was just one against an entire crew. Of course she also had to worry about any slaves on board that might get caught in a cross fire. Or worse, used as shields. Quietly she pulled herself from her seat, dropping to the floor as she grabbed the blaster pistols hanging on the wall. A second thought saw her pull the comlink from its resting place before she flipped it on for a moment.

"Captain Lex. Continue your strikes on those transports. I want them cleared first."

Nyla flipped the com on standby before the door opened. The hanger bay before her, and of course there were the guards. Without a moment to lose she was ducking behind the cover of a large crate as blaster bolts flew through the air.

The mercenary stepped outside, gently pulling the girl with him. He almost ignored her threat, before responding dryly.

"No, you won't. If you get shocked, it'll be for good reason. Or you'll be killed, shortly after. Potentially both. We'll head to the other slave pens. Try and make sure no one takes them hostage, or kill them, or something like that."

His voice was monotonous, but confident. He almost seemed bored. A pair of slavers rounded the corner, looked at Janus, and advanced, making to stop him. He improvised.

"WHERE ARE YOUR STATIONS? WHAT ARE YOU STOPPING FOR?", he roared, gesturing with his rifle at the two. They paused, looking between each other for a second. One started to say something, looking at the girl, before he was cut off. "SECURE THE HIGH RISK PRISONER. MY JOB? WHAT IS YOURS? STARE AT M-WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE!?"

The two stared for a second more, before the sound of blaster fire from elsewhere in the ship rang out. They turned, then scampered off, headed for the hangar. Janus watched them go, then prodded the girl forward. "You're on point. Left, second right, down a level, third right.", he said, giving her the turns to the main slave area.

That is the moment Nebula Front battle freighters soared into the system and radioed to the command of the mission and then began to open fire on the transports engines and weapons.

Meanwhile on the inside of one of the main ships Trista had a fire fight to tend to and as several thelassians rounded a corner she ducked and lobbed a stun grenade and then opened fire on the ones on the other end of the hallway killing some and knocking out others.

Taking her weapons and placing them back in the holsters she smirked and continued to walk on, the slaves in the pins she left were safe for now and as it was she just neutralized and killed enough guards for them to want to try and kill the slaves so she double backed to the pins and found it more of a chore as more guards somehow came rushing it to waste her, funny thing is like her kid sister Trista was not one to take lightly and she focused on the lights and shot them out quickly and then took the slavers on mano-a-mano with hand-to-hand, some were a good fight while others had no idea they were dealing with a vortek elite, she was not something that just was defeated.

As she snapped arms and legs and broke necks she made quick work of them in the dark and then moved on toward the pins and made sure to cover her tracks while doing so... moments later she made it and shot the locks off the cages to free them and then stood before them Your freedom is yours, stand in fight or cower in fear for the rest of your lives.. the choice is yours,

Muttering a "Yes, sir." before walking, Saran stepped down the corridor, keeping her pace as fast as possible without causing to much suspicion. Her neck hurt, probably electrical burns. The collar hurt, and all she wanted was it off. But that wouldn't happen. Not yet. Left. She wished she knew someone to go to, to talk to, when all this was over. But where could she turn? The Jedi were still at war, and she had no friends anywhere else. Second right. She needed to find her sabers, and Jacobs. It wouldn't be good to leave them behind. And she owed Jacobs for getting him into this mess. Down a floor. She reached out through the ship, searching for her weapons, and Jacobs. The former was easy, the crystal calling to her, begging her to retrieve it once again. It was the opposite way from where she was headed. But Jacobs, he was just beyond their destination. When the elevator hit the bottom, she retreated back. Only a force-sensitive being would have caught that. The miraluka sighed, the pain in her neck worsening, and her bottled-up anger rising every second. Third right. They were here.

He responded to Nyla as he was whipping his ship around to avoid any fire shot towards him, spinning and twisting around streams of rapid shot bolts, his shields flashing from time to time as he took a hit but holding.
"Pew-pew!"
He sounded out, opening ion fire onto enemy guns, shutting them down temporarily before he fired couple more ion missiles, this time, they were aimed towards hyperdrives of other transports.

Suddenly,
The Nebula Front decided to join the fight, Lex raised his brows and clenched his jaw slightly as he expected more fight coming his way, but instead, they opened fire on the slaver ships.

Still, Lex would open transmission to all their ships,

"Relax, kid. You'll be fine. Whoever's attacking seems to be winning. The collar'll be off you soon enough. Just gonna need your help with this room is all. Can you tell me how many bad guys are in there?", he calmly said. The aggression in his voice had been dialed down, though there was still a hard edge to it. He injected a bit more compassion into his voice as well, not wishing to further stress out the girl.
