The first day

Aspen had just woken up it was 5 in the morning and she just wanted to go back to sleep. She wasn't ready for military school. Infact the last time she thought about it she started cutting again. It had been about a month since that day where she had also broken her leg so she was on crutches still. "Dad."

Sibar was happily getting his armor on in his own dorm. The rest of his men were sleeping so it would be a good time when he woke them up. He was about to put on his helmet when he heard his daughter call him. Sibar moved towards where she was and looked at her, he was fully dressed in his armor excluding his helmet. "What sweetie?"

"I'm just really scared dad." She says as she stands up on her crutches shakily

Sibar smiled softly and put his hands on her shoulders "You'll be fine."

"Today is only orientation right dad?" She says as she begins to sweat a little

Sibar smiled "Yes that's how it went for me"

"Good I don't know how I'll be able to do the drills on crutches."

Sibar laughed "Eh you'll be fine. You still are going to be learning military history and tactic though."

"Ok dad." She says and begins to stare off into space

Sibar snapped his fingers in her fingers in her face "You were staring again"

"Oh Oh I'm sorry its just hard to focus that's all." she says coming back

Sibar grinned and rubbed her head "You'll be great. Your a Laval remember!"

"Yeah dad so we should get going." She says starting to slowly swing herself on her crutches towards the door

Sibar grinned and put on his helmet. His eyes now covered with the black stare of the helmet.

Aspen just makes it to the door and turns waiting

Sibar soon caught up to her and smiled under his helmet.

"Lead the way dad." she says breathing loudly

Sibar smiled and walked infront of her. When other troopers saw him they quickly got out of his way.
